We hired these people for 2 very important occasions: 1) To pick up my future husband's elderly parents flying in from Canada. Being elderly and not frequent flyers, it was important for us to have them being met with a greeter that had their name and a lei greeting to offer a nice touch. They said their driver was nice, easily identifiable, and helped them with their luggage. Sweet. 2) Our wedding. We hired the Rolls Royce and Jason was our driver. The Rolls arrived on time and Jason was professionally dressed. The Rolls was able to fit me and 2 bridesmaids in the back (I didn't have a big puffy dress, just a fitted trumpet style with little train) and my Maid of Honor in the front. Although it had A/C, my MOH didn't feel much of the air sitting in the front seat and we spent most of the time fanning her to get the air moving. Jason was nice, was easy to talk to a bunch of girls, especially me, who was filled with anxiety and he tried to find the right radio station to calm my nerves. He waited for us during the ceremony, and then drove us all the way back to our reception in downtown Waikiki. It was a very pleasant experience and we loved riding in the Rolls, especially the time spent with my girls going there and then the alone time with my new-husband riding back. It was a great experience and would definitely recommend the Rolls to anyone looking for a unique touch to their wedding. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/cloud-9-limousine-honolulu?select=3TWfVTiUU6LX2qVk2_Km9A#V-VQluJ6ErVoiE9r8KEAyw http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/cloud-9-limousine-honolulu?select=3TWfVTiUU6LX2qVk2_Km9A#3TWfVTiUU6LX2qVk2_Km9A read more

We booked Rolls Royce transportation services for our wedding day, from our ceremony (Paradise Cove) location to reception (Moana Surfrider). All bookings require full upfront payment and a minimum of three hours charged. While we were reluctant to pay for the full fees upfront and did not require the car for three hours, given that we had always dreamed of having a Rolls Royce as part of our wedding, the website stated that it was the only one available on the island and we were promised 5-star service we moved forward. On our wedding day the Rolls Royce was incapable of transporting us to the reception. After several attempts to turn the car on and the car stopping in the middle of an intersection in front of oncoming traffic we requested that the driver turn around. As the car attempted to pull into the ceremony parking lot, it turned off again. We were on a strict time schedule, it was 87 degrees outside and we could not risk being unsafely stranded on a highway. As a result, we incurred further transportation fees and were not able to take photos at Ko'Olina or our reception venue. The next day I requested a full refund from the vendor, however he refused to provide a full refund stating that because we took photos in the parking lot that that carried a $187.50 "photo shoot fee" (a fee which was never discussed prior to entering the contract, within the contract or referenced on the company website). This experience is every bride's nightmare. We expected to receive 5-star transportation services and instead were provided with a faulty car, unprofessional customer service and hit with unreasonable fees. I would highly discourage any customer from booking Rolls Royce transportation services from this company, especially for a day as important as you wedding day - you only get one chance. I wish I had paid attention to the negative reviews. read more

Cloud 9 Limousine - Parking lot "photo shoot" - Limos Near Me

I love Cloud 9 Limousine! From the first time I talked to Peter at Cloud 9 in August 2008 I immediately felt the love and the Ohana from him. He was so gracious, warm with a bright personality. The limousine ride with Peter was one of the most memorable, special and cherished experiences I have ever had under the Faery moon night. You always remember the first time, the first impression, the LOVE. Since then I have stayed with Cloud 9 Limousine for all my limo rides like the special pre-party limo ride for The Cure concert, (brought by BAMP Project) in the summer of 2016 and especially in the more recent one, the Duran Duran concert in 2017, ironically, the date falling exactly one year after the Cure concert. As alway, Peter is a gentleman and always made me feel extremely special whenever I booked a ride like the latest one on Sunday, July 16, 2017 for the Duran Duran concert. It was the first performance for Duran Duran in Honolulu and a special one indeed. It was a wonderful and special night for me. Laurie, our well-dressed driver, who's beautiful inside and out has a great personality. She's has always been so accommodating and kind to me and to us. She's on time, the Limousine is clean and smells fresh, cold bottled water is readily available, full ice bar, the AC is cold especially in these warm summer days and most importantly, the music speakers in the car are in stereo and the bomb ! What's a cruise without music to fill your ears with passion? Music is my life! The Limousine ride was comfortable and smooth. Laurie is a wonderful driver and a beautiful person. She even dresses up with a stylish hat to sport the entire outfit. I recommend her if you are reading this and looking for a limousine for your next party, graduation, wedding etc. Request for her. It was top quality service and my family and friends were satisfied : My brother Ken, sister in law Christine, nephew Bryce, my good friends Malia and Barron all had a wonderful time ! A few hours earlier I took my little cute nephew Klyde, nieces Elyse & Aubrey and my mom for a ride before dropping them home. I look forward to riding their Rolls Royce the next time ! They got the stretch limos and so much more ! So like us, bring your bottles of champagne and wine and book Cloud 9 for your next Party ! I will ! Mahalo Peter and Laurie and Cloud 9 Limousine ! Honolulu Advertiser Kat Wade TGIF even captured the moment in a photo. Thank you for reading this! Enjoy the ride and cherish the memories ! read more

Very POOR customer service! We had paid this company in full a whole year in advance to reserve the Rolls Royce for our wedding. 2 days before our wedding the Cloud 9 says we never booked their company and stated that our credit card was declined. They claim that they tried contacting us by phone and email many times, but this was a lie. We never missed a call from them, got a voicemail, nor did we receive any emails saying anything of this nature. After going back and forth, they said they already booked their Rolls Royce with another wedding party and there was no way for us to use their services. We, luckily went with Albatross Transportation and reserved the brand new 2012 Rolls Royce Ghost. This vehicle was so much more luxurious that than Cloud 9's old car. After the wedding, we contacted our bank. Our bank says exactly one year before we were to use their services they endorsed the check we sent them. Even then, Peter still denied the claims. To make a long horrible story short, we finally sent a letter to the company with a copy of the endorsed checked. 3 weeks later we get a check in the mail with NO APOLOGY! The least peter could have done was apologize!! HORRIBLE. DONT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY they may steal your money! read more

Good customer service when booking, amazing customer service from the driver! We rented the Rolls Royce for our wedding and it was just perfect and way more fun than a plain ol' limo. The driver, Billy, provided over the top amazing service! Friendly and informative, pointing out things of interest while he was driving and he even helped my parents with directions getting back to Honolulu from our ceremony. If you book Cloud 9 request Billy to be your driver, he was fabulous! read more

We had the pleasure of having the Rolls Royce limousine service during our recent visit to Hawaii. The driver, Peter, who is also the owner of the company, was professional and courteous. He got us to our event on time and in style. He was also an outstanding guide, with a thorough knowledge of the area. From the excellent condition in which Peter keeps the car, you can easily tell he takes pride in owning the only Rolls Royce of this type on the island available as a limousine. We definitely recommend his service based on the experience we had. read more

They were willing to work with me despite the last minute request. The driver was awesome. She was so sweet, gave us a your of the city, made sure we didn't need anything, and even went above and beyond to get our cake when we realized we forgot it. Loved the Rolls Royce, perfect for what we needed! read more

We hired Cloud 9 to pick us up from HNL and take us to Aulani Resort in Ko 'Olina. We wanted a nice vacation that did not include driving ourselves there in the horrible rush hour traffic. Our vacation started out a bit rocky with a two hour flight delay so I was a bit worried about our transportation. I called and advised Peter, the owner, of our delay and he able to accomodate our request and calmed my nerves saying that they would track our flight and have the car there waiting... and they did! Then se were typical pain in the butt vacationers and asked to have our return trip time changed also to allow a bit more time in the airport shops. Again, done cheerfully and without a problem. The car that carried us back was not the Lincoln Navigator we requested but a stretch limo! Quite an upgrade! Overall, both drivers, Darla and Frank, and the owner, Peter were awesome, professional, helpful and fun! I would confidently recommend Cloud 9 and will absolutely use them on future trips! read more

This company is a JOKE! We recently moved to HI from Los Angeles and have used MANY car services for years. My husband had hired them to pick up my friend as a SURPRISE for my 30th birthday. First, they ruined the surprise by contacting us to tell us they had received the reservation, but not payment. My husband had paid online and apparently the rate jumped up by $25 when he went to the checkout page and got his confirmation. He didn't let that bother him, as he was more concerned that it was taken care of and there was a car ready to pick up our friend and make the SURPRISE happen. Then after finding out that they HAD gotten payment (apparently they didn't know how to use their own payment system) after already contacting us, they apologized with a laugh and said that they at least would be there to pick up our friend. We agreed to continue with the service. Now, our friend arrived at the airport and NO ONE was there to pick her up!!! What a mess and a disaster they created for something really nice that my husband was trying to do for me. Not to mention, after calling 25+ times they still would not pick up the phone DURING business hours. No call back. No car. Terrible customer service, horrible manners, and just absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL! Thanks CLOUD 9 for ruining my birthday and stressing my husband and my best friend out. What a pathetic company. Good luck if you use them and you better HOPE they are there to pick you up!! We will NEVER use this company again!!! read more

Very understaffed as we contacted them during business hours and it rings to Peter's cell. while he's driving. He explained no one was in the office who could get us a confirmation for a pick up the next day. (Maybe we're comparing to mainland service and expecting too much ? ) BTW , his attitude was arrogant and unapolgetic - surprising for any company supposedly in the service business ! read more

Made Round Trip reservations, Paid in Full In Advance...Then ... Pickup from the Airport was supposed to be memorable, instead calling them and looking for the Driver to find out where our ride is???? Then when had to return back to the Airport, they Forgot about us, we are not on the schedule !!! Was fast enough to take the customer's money but not efficient enough to give them a ride, not to mention the inconvenience and hassle we had to go thru on the way back to the airport... They do not answer their phone, for a service that should be on 24 hours non-stop I would NOT recommend them to anyone, In Fact it may be time to Retire the Business... read more

Unprofessional. Untimely. Uncourteous. Where do I even start? Let's see... we booked the Rolls Royce for 3 hours for our wedding about 5 months before our wedding date, 5/28/16. It had always been our dream to have a classic getaway car for our wedding. We got a call 1 week before our wedding that the Rolls Royce "engine exploded" and that we had an option of getting a refund or booking one of their limos. A discount of any sort was never offered for the inconvenience. Stressed with the short amount of time we had to get another car we conformed with getting a limo from them. We spoke with them and confirmed our pick-up times and locations for the wedding day more than once yet they were incompetent on our wedding day and caused a great amount of stress. It upsets me tremendously even as I write this review. Not only was the woman driver late to pick up the bride, she was also leisurely and impolite while driving the bride and her party to the church. I barely made it to the church on time. When the bride and groom walked out of the church, she immediately confronted and accused the groom of being at fault for not giving the correct location for bride pick-up, which is a completely out of line since they had the exact address and time before hand. Our maid of honor stepped in and told the driver that this was not the time or place. The driver later apologized for her behavior. The service we received from this company on our wedding day is completely UNACCEPTABLE and we highly DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone to book them, especially not for a special event. read more

Arranged private car through Aulani for both trips to airport. My 10 year old was excited when a stretch limo pulled up, she got a kick out of it. The drivers were nice enough and it sure beats a bus. read more

I had to have a Rolls Royce for my wedding, but finding one was a pain in the butt. Luckily, i came across the Rolls in another wedding photography page and scoured the license plate until i found their website! I contacted Peter and reserving the car was a breeze. I was so busy on our wedding day that i didn't know the driver WAS Peter!!! Now, i feel bad. He was great and patient. We didn't get a red carpet roll out, but we were rushing anyways, so im glad we didn't. I loved his outfit and he's a funny guy. read more

These are wonderful people, and their service is top-notch! My rather elderly California-based parents booked a cruise around Hawaii, then told us about it. I contacted many car services asking them to meet my folks at the HNL airport gate, get their bags, take them to visit some places they wanted to see, and then get them safely to their ship. Laurie at Cloud 9 was one of the few who gave me a complete quote, and assured me my parents would be taken care of. The driver texted me when they were at the gate and the plane was a few minutes away. After my parents were safely delivered to the cruise ship, they let me know they were onboard. I really appreciated the extra communication, they understood I was concerned. My Dad is kind of picky, so when he said the car service was 'excellent' I knew it had been good. If anyone needs a car service in Honolulu, I recommend Cloud 9. Thanks, Candace Koogler read more

Good customer service and communication! I rented the 11 passenger van and it worked out great! I had to change the pick up time last minute and there was no hassle and they were on time! Its nice to deal will someone on the phone who appreciates your business! read more

These guys are great!! I have no clue who these guys are giving these bad reviews, especially when it comes to customer service. Every time i called the phone was answered by this nice down to earth local guy. I needed to hire a car to take me from my wedding to the reception then from the reception to the hotel in Waikiki. To my surprise other companies wanted to charge me from the moment they got to the church until they dropped me off at the hotel, that made it unaffordable. Cloud 9 was able to work with me and charge me the 2 two hour minimums to make this thing work in my budget. We had a great driver who was on time and friendly. I don't use a limo service very often but i think that might change after doing business with these guys. Thank you to everyone at cloud 9, cant wait to do business again! read more

Anytime I want to take my wife out for a special night or I'm going to the airport and want to ride in style, I always call Peter at Cloud Nine. They treat you the same way they treat the many celebrities that they transport. 1st class all the way. read more

This was a a classy beautiful ride for our fairy tale wedding on the beach. Laurie was so sweet and the service overall was really great. The prices were better than any other. They don't charge the additional hour for them to drive back as all the others I found did. The RR was a special treat for our photographs. Thanks again. So so sorry we didn't have anyone with us to get access to monetary to tip the driver as we were leaving from our wedding. :( read more

Cloud 9 Limousine - Limos Near Me

My husband had rented a limo from Cloud 9 when he proposed to me and we had been happy with our experience; the only problem that time was the privacy screen to the limo was broken but our professional and friendly driver more than made up for it. Based on our previous experience, we decided to book a limo from Cloud 9 to pick us and our family up to take us out to dinner after our wedding ceremony. Big mistake. The limo was supposed to pick my husband and I up from our apartment first, then go to our family's hotels. We got to our apartment at 7:30, right when the limo was supposed to be there and become concerned when we didn't see one waiting on our street and had not heard from them. At 7:40 my husband called the company and was told there was no record of our reservation, and they were sorry but all of their cars were booked for that evening. No recommendations for other companies to call and no offer to try and make it up in any way, just an "Oops! Sorry about that, but have a good night". I normally try to give companies the benefit of the doubt and be reasonable when it comes to how far out of their way they should go to resolve a problem, but when you mess up on someone's wedding day, that's a pretty big deal and it's not only smart business but also basic consideration to try and resolve the problem. Very unprofessional customer service and not a company we will ever do business with again. read more

We rented the Rolls Royce for our son's senior prom. Peter and Lorri were great. Lorri made sure the kids were able to get some great pictures before prom. I'm actually surprised to find so many negative reviews for this company. I've used them twice for round trip service from the airport to the Aulani and for each trip the drivers have been friendly and prompt. Their service costs a little more than the shuttle service offered by our travel company so I opted for the private car. Although there was some confusion on our online booking as we're planning on paying cash on arrival, everything else went smooth and we even got reminder calls a day before pick ups. read more
