New billing cycle started on Sunday, I turned in my equipment today. Because of how their billing cycle works, Spectrum is ok taking my money even though I will not be actively using their service or be in possession of any of their equipment. Spoke to a supervisor and he stated, "Spectrum is perfectly ok with this because we bill on a monthly basis." After years of being loyal to Spectrum, they just lost another customer. read more

This review is for the business location, not the Spectrum Internet Service I had... I chose to come to this location to turn in my modem and close my account. I usually go to the Torrance location and find myself waiting for at least 30 minutes with nowhere to sit. I checked out the pictures on Yelp and saw that they had places to sit, so I came here. It looks like a newer store. I checked in at their kiosk and went to wait. I think I waited less than 5 minutes. The guy who helped me was quick and efficient. I got my receipt and he asked if there was anything else I needed. There was nothing further I needed and I left. In & out in about 15 minutes. If I ever need to go into a Spectrum Store, I'd totally consider coming back here again! read more

I walked in today because I was getting texts telling me I would be charged if I didn't return my equipment by tomorrow. I walked in the store, was told there is one person "working" when there are in fact three employees in here right now, so not sure what the other two are doing. I was told I had three people ahead of me, so now I'm waiting. Honestly if I had a choice to use any other company in El Segundo I would, they made me upgrade my equipment, I didn't feel it was needed and they made me and now I'm here waiting. This store has some of the worst customer service I've experienced. The employees are constantly hiding in the back office while customers wait 15-30 minutes for assistance, even though there are usually four employees working. They take their time and completely ignore customers instead of helping them. Management really needs to step in and get this store under control. read more

Now this is what I'm talking about for customer service. We came to the store to get a new phone and walked out with a suggestion to buy a crap phone and come back in a month when the new phone drops. I know it sounds counterintuitive since they didn't make the sale, BUT they know we will definitely come back and in a good mood 30-some odd days in the future, and with a good taste in my mouth. Forced to pay a restocking fee $50 for a phone that we didn't want in the first place (had it for about 16 hours) were told if a new phone was purchased that all the problems would be solved. Walked in to pay a bill with my daughter and was told to check in, so I proceeded to do so mind you only 1 person besides myself was on the waiting list for walk in's so I waited saw the guy that was in front of me get called an helped with, 5 minutes go by an 3 more people came in an checked in ,now it's been 15 minutes of waiting for my daughter and I just for my name to disappear off of the check in list! Then a worker helps a person that just walked in, at this point my daughter is crying so I left the store very unprofessional behavior by the work staff! read more

Came into spectrum (05/07/24) trying to change my account details. I'm not the most savvy when it comes to tech questions or what plan is best for me. I was super appreciative of Jai for being extremely patient with me and answering all of my questions. He helped me pick out the WiFi package the best suited my needs and made the whole customer experience enjoyable. Thank you! I also had to return back because I had a few more questions about the set up process. Yvette (I apologize if I'm misspelling her name) was extremely helpful in answering my questions as well. NEVER GO TO THIS STORE! They messed my account so bad I have been on the phone with spectrum for an hour and a half trying to get it figured out. Let me start by saying why I originally went into spectrum today. I did not have any power coming to my modem so I took the modem in to get a new one. Upon arrival at home, I realized they gave me a cable box instead of a modem. While I was at the store, I questioned the size of the modem and the lady reassured me that it is a modem, she said it is just a new one so it's bigger. She even confirmed it with the manager. When i opened the package at home a saw a remote control I knew it was a cable box. I took the cable box back to the spectrum in Marina del Rey, and the lady laughed and said how could they mistake a cable box for a modem. The lady at Marina del Rey told me that the DVR that I have is no longer on my account that it was removed today by the lady at Manhattan Beach. I got a new modem from Marina del Rey, when I got home my cable was disconnected. So I called and sure enough my cable was not working because the DVR was no longer on my account. I had to spend an a hour and a half trying to get it back on my account by reading off all the numbers on the back to figure out which box I had. Long story not so short, this store has no idea what they are doing. I simply needed to replace a modem and instead they caused me time and money, in gas, driving all around in traffic on Friday night after a long day at work. read more

Ended up talking to customer support from the parking lot for over an hour and ultimately deciding to terminate service with Spectrum. read more

I spent two hours today at Apple because I was unable to text. I could receive them, but I could not send them. No resolution. The Apple "Genius" was not too genius. William was very helpful informing us that what they had shipped was incorrect. He was able to fix the situation promptly and provided us alternatives if we had trouble again. I first had the pleasure of having Jairo assist me earlier this year when I switched my cell service and phone from T-Mobile to Spectrum. He went above and beyond, providing exceptional service throughout the process. More recently, I went back to the same Spectrum store to activate Spectrum internet service at my home since moving. Once again, Jairo went about and beyond with excellent customer service. He always greets his customers with a smile and works hard to take care of whatever they need. I had some issues setting up the new service, modem and router and called his personal cell listed on his business card. He responded promptly, providing advice that got our internet up and running. For your sanity avoid this Spectrum store. Long wait times and rude employees. I ordered a phone and the associate Will, sent it to the wrong address so the only option spectrum and FedEx gave was to return it to sender. I confirmed the correct address when ordering so this should not have happened. Spectrum has disabled the option for FedEx to hold at it a FedEx location for pick up. I have now been waiting a month for my $1,200 dollars back for a phone I never received due to the address error. At this point I feel like Spectrum has stolen my money. Also with this phone fiasco my auto pay was disabled, credit card switched on my account, and unneeded new equipment somehow ordered and shipped to me.
