    Tried really hard to be understanding with them, but this is one of those experiences that I've…read moresincerely never dealt with before. I've had Mid-Hudson for six months, with their "high triple speed" package for wifi even though it's only for the house that only I live in. Therefore there are only two devices (phone and laptop) that id need to be connected, and yet, on numerous occasions, it's obviously too much to ask for. For the past six months I've experienced the worst "spotty service" I'd ever dealt with. But hey, I thought since I'm new to a small town, maybe it's just a thing to get used to. But 8 nights I've had a paper due online for school the next morning, and the wifi will suddenly be down for a solid day. And guess what? Their "call 24" rings hours on end with no answer. Even when the wifi is working, at "triple speeds", with just my phone connected in the same room, I can't ever connect to FaceTime or wifi calling. But I can at McDonald's wifi. I recently visited family across the coast, and disconnected my service to save some cash. They said it could be turned on right when I came back with no issue. Turns out I came home, and got hit with a $50+ reactivation fee, and a 10 day wait for the guy to reinstall it. But the day I left, without my consent, they had no problem coming here and disconnecting the wiring from my house in one days notice. On the scheduled day to have it reactivated, I took off work so I could let them in. The window time was 11am-4pm. I called the day before to confirm. I called at 11am the day of to confirm they'd come that day. Waited all day, called at 3:30, and they assured me someone would come. I call at 4:30pm, was put on hold, then they told me the scheduled date was for the next day. They said that it was my error, and "why didn't you call to confirm?" To make matters worse, whenever I reach someone to speak with, horrible service. No "thank you's" or even any fake sympathy for these last 6 months. I don't typically dwell, or get angry in this situation, but I hate that they speak to me like I'm stupid for thinking they can fix anything. I'm not here to say not to have Mid-Hudson, just extending my experiences. Why two stars? Bad internet is better than no internet, I suppose.

    Installation services are dismal. Waiting two months for them to bury the cable and now they say I…read morehave to wait until spring! Plus, they don't even take complaints and there isn't a customer service department. They just try to upsell you to fiber.
