I went looking for something for someone else, check out was relatively painless and quick. When I got home, it wasn't quite what they were looking for. I called the store with a question regarding the return; I ended up getting corporate. Spoke to Victor, he said there should be no problem. Whenever I've heard that! There's always been a problem later on. This time he was right. The charge on the card was seen that day. Let's see if they can keep up the good work or are they going to end up like Circuit City?! I called about a week later to order the fridge, two days later Chris called to schedule delivery (included in the price of the fridge, as well as taking away my old fridge!) They also asked if I was without a fridge or just an upgrade - which I SO appreciated. It was NOT an "emergency," but the mere fact that they asked goes to show: they're a local, family business and they get it. Two gents showed up on the day and time they said they'd come, accommodating my small back road, and got the old fridge out and new one in with no mess - all while chatting with my helpful 5 year old and tolerating my neurotic dog. The entire process was less than an hour! I did check Lowe's/Home Depot and found this exact fridge for about $100 less - but I doubt that includes delivery and take away. Snyder's also services everything they sell. Another instance where shopping local is so worth it! They've got another long term customer in me!
