My husband went in to replace his phone's cracked screen. Because they did it poorly, it no longer takes his finger print, facial recognition, or scrolls accurately. The phone screen broke went here to get a simple replacement. Very nice and prompt service. The only thing was they are very overpriced. 150 for the screen and maybe 15 mins or less to fix it. I also added the screen protector which was 20 dollars!!! They are 5 dollars on Amazon. I Paid it this time but unfortunately, I will not go back here due to the cost. read more

Dropped a relatively new phone, and of course I didn't opt for the insurance. After pricing around the area for screen repair, I settled on FixNPhone. Despite my phone's screen being a bit more of a hassle to repair, Nick had it done in 30 minutes. The replacement he ordered arrived in time for a next day repair, even though I stopped in after 5pm to confirm the order. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. His prices, at least for my phone, were roughly the same as everywhere else. And the place is open till 8, so if you work you can still drop by after you're done. Apparently he does computers and game systems as well. I hope not to need his services again any time soon, but it's nice to know this place is around. read more

I brought in my Google Pixel 4 to have the cracked screen repaired. After 2 replacements (the first one they gave me was actually faulty) and $286, they told me my phone's selfie camera no longer working was not their fault and that phones break all the time. As far as I can tell their technicians are very good! They are super fast, and the price is right. They installed a new iPhone battery for me, just before a trip to Europe. I was a little nervous that the battery might not be reliable (not OEM), but it has been nearly a year and the battery is still performing well. They also installed a new lightning connector, because my iPhone stopped charging due to car charging cord getting yanked out during a fast turn. I have only heard terrible things about big brand stores breaking peoples phones, and taking days to make simple repairs, which is what led me to this gem of a store in our area. Absolute crap. They replaced my Iphone screen with the same crappy one I got on Amazon after claiming it was premium and the same screen that Apple uses. Cracked in a few days(with out me dropping it etc.) and they wouldn't replace it. Just got around to replacing it again myself and come to find that they omitted several screws when they put it back together. There was a screw floating around inside the thing. Don't choose the premium screen as it is bottom of the barrel. If you must use these people get the cheaper screen as it can't be any cheaper than the one they installed in my phone that they charge more for. read more

i've been looking to get my phone screen fixed for the longest time but have been putting it off to save $$$ but on my first day at my new job i was on my break out at the store and i dropped my already cracked phone and the screen went black and shattered more. I was so frantic and anxious because I only had a few min to get back to work but luckily Fixnphone was right across the street from where I work. Within minutes I was being helped and reassured and on my way out the door. I couldn't pick up my phone til hours later and it was legit a brand new phone! i got a screen protector and a new case as well because I just didn't wanna risk not having those as well considering how clumsy I am. I usually don't go to small named stores, but i figured since the pandemic hit these businesses could use local consumers for help. I needed my PS4 cleaned and when I dropped it off the guy let me know it still not might work after a cleaning. (Understandable) be said two hours and as soon as I walked out someone took my PS4 outback used canned air to blow it and went back Inside. I think it goes without saying that's probably all they did. When I picked it up it didn't even look like they cleaned it at all. It still had dust on the outside fans. I wouldn't ever go there again. Two stars because they are friendly while ripping you off. read more

My some has come to this place twice and both times it was for the screen. The first time it was replaced the person noticed the frame was cracked but still replaced the screen. The screen then cracked after 2 weeks and prior to that worked fine. He did not drop it and he went back to get it fixed. Unfortunately this time he was charged again. Not even a day later the screen has lines and blacks out. He goes back again and the first thing the guy says is that he dropped it. Now both times I was with him when this occurred and he never dropped the phone. If the store knew that the frame was cracked it should have not been worked on at all and saved $500. The second time he was refunded his money. The guy seems to be sincere but if he had been honest the first time knowing that the s teen could not work the first home could have been replaced. I get times are hard for everyone but I'm this case taking money to make a profit is not the way to do things. This store may be decent for others who have minor issues but you need to be spot on to avoid even trying to fix something not worth fixing. Be honest up front and customers will come back. read more

I can't say enough good things about Fixnphone. I didn't know where to go and chose them at random and I'm glad I did. There store is nice and clean and they are very fast, competent, and fairly priced. I had broken the font glass on my iPhone SE, which is an older phone, and I walked in off the street and it was fixed in twenty minutes. My wife had a more serious problem with her iPhone and again, I just walked in and they said "No problem, give us twenty minutes". It's a relief to know there is a place in Kingston to fix problems with phones, pads, and computers that is easy to deal with, in a nice store, and they fix the problem right away and they're reasonably priced. I had to transfer my info from an old phone to a new one. I was told by this place that it would be $70, and that all phone carriers would also charge the same. Not true! It's free at your carriers facilities. I believed him and lost money. Also this place smells like someone dropped a bottle of cheap perfume on the floor. read more
