Kingston Computer Works is tucked away in Kings Mall (between Mother Earth and on the other side of the wall of Ultra Beauty) where a complete lack of traffic and poor signage has kept him a secret. I go back to pick it up thinking I'm getting that regular glossy lamination like I've gotten before. Nope. What I got back was matte. Now I'm like, "hold up... since when?" Nobody asked me if I wanted matte or glossy. Nobody even told me there was a choice. I bitched and moaned about it and they ended up giving it to me for free. Cool. Thank you. Fast-forward to another visit. Another 18x36 classroom poster. But this time I learned my lesson and asked if it's shiny or matte they're using. She tells me matte and says she doesn't know what's going on with the shiny lamination. Plus back in August, I brought in the same size poster and got it laminated shiny with no problem. That's my issue. If the options changed, say that. If shiny isn't available anymore, say that. Don't let somebody spend time making a classroom poster, drop it off and then find out AFTER the job is done that they're getting something completely different from what they expected. I'll still come to Staples for my printer paper, paper clips, and classroom supplies. No problem. I'll go somewhere else for lamination.

"Yeah that's fine" (I knew I was going to spend a ridiculous amount when I went in I didn't want to wait for one to ship to my house) I asked if they would be able to put the screen on for me and he said yes. Then we walked over to the check out counter and the guy didn't greet me. He looked and acted like he dreaded working there. Told me the price was $77 I said then said it's $71 so I asked "is that after tax?" He got annoyed and said no that's the price of the screen protector. There was a price sticker for $66.99 on the box. I said "the box says $66.99" he said " well it's coming up for $71 in the system " I said "okay but the box says $66.99" he said well our system price is $71. I don't know who did that and I hate when they do that because it's never the correct price. I honestly wish I chose to not continue with my purchase because of this interaction. The other sales associate next to him was like hey is everything okay and I said the box is saying it's $66.99 but your system says $71. And all he said was oh that's weird. Nobody apologized for the price discrepancy and didn't even attempt to go speak with his manager to see if they could offer or sell to me at that price. They were basically like that's your problem do you want it or not and took the $66.99 off the box. If I didn't have the urgency of purchasing this item I would have walked out. After paying for it he grabbed the box and just flicked his wrist and the box fell on the table and said "oops sorry " i looked at him and said the other guy said you guys can put it on for me. He said okay. And I handed him my phone with out the case. The one plus here is it's separated mostly from the other businesses in the busy Cortlandt Town Center shopping plaza - so if you're looking to just come here, you don't have to deal with some of the general madness in the shopping center. Stock is typical. If you frequent Best Buy, then you pretty much know what to expect with stock, with little differences like game/movie selections being a little different with older titles and some of the toys. Speaking of, Best Buy used to have better selections of both games and movies, but now it's just sad. Yes, I know society is trying to phase out physical media (I'm a physical media fan, so I disagree with that and I know I'm in the minority, but I digress), but some of the titles of both are almost non-sensical in general and here is no exception. You'll get mainly newer titles with questionable choices with older titles. If you're looking to get an older movie or game, you're better off ordering online - even Best Buy's website has a way better selection of titles than what's in store. Best Buy has very typical selections of electronics, appliances, and such - but definitely shop around since Best Buy is not really the 'best buy' anymore and hasn't been for quite some time. Sometimes you'll find decent sales or prices, but sometimes you'll find better elsewhere. Had no interactions with employees aside from the cashier, who was friendly. As mentioned, located in the Cortlandt Town Center shopping plaza - this location has it's own parking lot, so you'll have no issues finding a spot, especially if you're mainly coming here. So all in all it's just a Best Buy. The best part of this location is the location and parking lot, otherwise it's just typical almost all around.

Maybe this guy will help you after he's done with me." that employee says he can't because he's going to help someone else and radios for someone to come help me. 25 minutes later the same guy that radioed for help finally decides to help me. He sold me an open box TV that was labeled excellent condition. I get at home and it's only the TV. There's no remote control, there's no feet to set it up on, and there's no power cable. I am freaking livid. Avoid this garbage place.
