I contacted Max in the morning, had a major component replaced and returned within a few hours, same day!

Terrible customer service, was hung up on several times for threatening to post my company's displeasure on social media. Escalated the situation to Mark at Cyber Guardian who instructed me Alexandra at HRT would contact me back. When she finally did, she hung up on me AGAIN, this time when I asked if we could move forward and if HRT wanted to keep my company's business. LITERALLY. Stay as far away as possible!!

For years, this company provided exceptional support, and we trusted them completely with our IT infrastructure. Unfortunately, since their recent change in ownership, that trust has been destroyed. The new management demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism and accountability. They refused to transfer access to our Microsoft365 account, effectively holding our business hostage. As a direct result, our email service was shut down for five full days. For any business, this would be disruptive--but as a healthcare provider, this is completely unacceptable. We rely on timely communication to access up-to-date medical records and respond to patient needs. This outage severely impacted our ability to provide proper care and support to our patients and clients. What makes this situation even worse is that Hudson River Technologies created the problem in the first place, yet refused to resolve it unless we paid a fee upfront as well as sign a multi-year contract for support we don't need, with huge monthly fees. This feels less like customer service and more like coercion. After years of loyalty, we were treated as though our urgent needs--and the well-being of our patients--were irrelevant. This experience has been incredibly damaging, both operationally and professionally. I would strongly caution any business, especially those in critical fields like healthcare, against relying on this company.

I brought my computer here to be fixed since it would not turn on, and when it did the battery sign on my screen showed up with an X instead of a percentage. The customer service is a whole problem within itself, usually only having 1-2 people working at a time on "consultations" with customers for 20+ minutes each without acknowledging anyone waiting to be serviced, and stopping to answer lengthy phone calls as they go. My computer was here being "repaired" for 2 WEEKS and they never contacted me to let me know my computer was done, I had to repeatedly call to ask for updated information. Once I finally come in to pick it up I ask to buy a charger since my old one was broken, and the man working plugs one in for me to buy, saying that he wants to make sure it's working...this seemed odd since he was planning on charging me $80 for an apple charger without the box and he seemed unsure it would work? And sure enough when my computer turned on the X on the charge was still there... 2 WEEKS in the shop and they didn't fix the one thing I had brought it in for, and yet said it was ready for me to pick up. I asked them why this happened and they said there was a "miscommunication" about what was to be fixed, which is complete BS. They also said that there was evidence of liquid damage on my battery, and had written it down in the file on my computer, but in the entire two weeks they had it they never contacted me to ask if I wanted this fixed and put my computer with the rest that were finished for me to pick up??? The man there was extremely rude when I questioned him why this would happen and even walked up and interrupted me on the phone to correct what I was explaining to my mom about what had happened to my computer, who had driven me to pick it up. I brought my computer to a different repair shop and found out there was ZERO liquid damage to my computer, and they had the battery problem fixed within 3 HOURS. Now I have my computer back and there is something wrong with my keyboard reading the buttons I press...causing me to not be able to use my volume or brightness buttons correctly which no doubt happened when the people at tech smiths haphazardly took my computer apart and put it back together incorrectly. I would not waste more of my time writing this lengthy review if it was not in the best interest of anyone reading this to AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs. If I could give this place zero stars I would!

I'm searching for a new TV, find a bunch of their open box TVs, walk up to one of the workers who is behind the counter on his cell phone and ask him if he's helping anybody. Without saying a word, and without breaking eye contact with his cell phone, he shakes his head yes. Another customer says " wow... Maybe this guy will help you after he's done with me." that employee says he can't because he's going to help someone else and radios for someone to come help me. 25 minutes later the same guy that radioed for help finally decides to help me. He sold me an open box TV that was labeled excellent condition. I get at home and it's only the TV. There's no remote control, there's no feet to set it up on, and there's no power cable. I am freaking livid. Avoid this garbage place.

Typical Best Buy…read more Best Buy has dropped as a business overall and this location is obviously no different. The one plus here is it's separated mostly from the other businesses in the busy Cortlandt Town Center shopping plaza - so if you're looking to just come here, you don't have to deal with some of the general madness in the shopping center. Stock is typical. If you frequent Best Buy, then you pretty much know what to expect with stock, with little differences like game/movie selections being a little different with older titles and some of the toys. Speaking of, Best Buy used to have better selections of both games and movies, but now it's just sad. Yes, I know society is trying to phase out physical media (I'm a physical media fan, so I disagree with that and I know I'm in the minority, but I digress), but some of the titles of both are almost non-sensical in general and here is no exception. You'll get mainly newer titles with questionable choices with older titles. If you're looking to get an older movie or game, you're better off ordering online - even Best Buy's website has a way better selection of titles than what's in store. Best Buy has very typical selections of electronics, appliances, and such - but definitely shop around since Best Buy is not really the 'best buy' anymore and hasn't been for quite some time. Sometimes you'll find decent sales or prices, but sometimes you'll find better elsewhere. Had no interactions with employees aside from the cashier, who was friendly. As mentioned, located in the Cortlandt Town Center shopping plaza - this location has it's own parking lot, so you'll have no issues finding a spot, especially if you're mainly coming here. So all in all it's just a Best Buy. The best part of this location is the location and parking lot, otherwise it's just typical almost all around.
