what the heck is going on with the Staples in Kingston. 3 - 4 weeks ago they moved the Amazon Return area from the print area to the front of the store, next to the registers. Twice now the Amazon return has been closed due to broken printer part (Staples for some reason cannot print the Amazon receipts from another printer even though their print section has many many printers) or yesterday the associate stated they ran out of labels. Yet, when I called today a rude employee told me that Amazon wouldn't be fixed until tomorrow. OK things happen but they never had this problem before they moved Amazon returns to a different area. read more

Having needed a cheap digital postal scale yesterday, I came into this Staples (my local location) and found one. The box was rather damaged, but the product seemed fine otherwise. I could tell that this store recognized the box's condition and took off an Instant Savings of a $1 (seen on my receipt) that I only noticed when I got home. Although it was only yesterday I shopped here, I recognized that is a store that has one-way aisles, but no aisles lead you down certain aisles towards the back - and on top, having the bathrooms here 100% closed off, really pisses me off (pun not intended)! When I went to checkout, I noticed an arrow pointing to the customer service desk, not realizing the lines for the registers are still at the same spot they were pre-coronavirus times miles away from the registers! I checked out, and although I asked for Email and Print (for my receipt) using ApplePay on my Apple Watch, when the employee couldn't get the register to print, he forced a duplicate - but that duplicate receipt said it wasn't valid for returns ( I knew what that really meant because most merchants aren't allowing returns once taken out of the store and that this statement is only a "lie" by most companies, but I'll let it go. (rant over.)) Not too sure though on your bags. You never told me that you had bags and you never utilized a plan to sell me bags (I'm boycotting purchases of the paper bags)). I walk in with my (always complicated) print project - and Danny and Shay solve it, get it back to me in two hours, and figure out a way for me save some money on it! We needed blueprints in a rush this morning and even though he was the only one in the copy center at the time with multiple customers, the department was orderly, efficient and surprisingly calm. Do not go to their technicians. If you have a phone issue, printer issue, any issue that needs tech support, go to Best Buy or anywhere else. This store is just a bunch of people running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Took a cellphone in for a cracked screen. Got it back and the whole phone didn't work. Brought it back and they accused me of trying to disassemble it when I got home because a SCREW WAS MISSING. So obviously they did something to my phone and didn't even put it back together correctly. I spoke to 5 or 6 different people. Each passed me off to another and none of them were informed or helpful. After 2 days and several hours waiting around, They said they had to send my phone out to a "master technician" to be fixed again. They said it would take 3-5 days. It's day five with no call. I'm on hold with god knows who (15 minutes already) after the call was initially dropped. I've spoken to 3 people already. No one knows what's going on. I've wasted over 5 hours of my life for a cracked screen. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT GO HERE. I am writing to corporate. This is unacceptable. Update: they have no idea when my phone will be ready. "No one should have told you it would take 5 days" Update #2: two days later. Finally got a call back. They have to replace my entire phone because there was "screw damage to the motherboard" so clearly they fucked up while "repairing" my phone. I BETTER not receive a charge and they BETTER not lose my data. Over a week without a cellphone. Intend on asking for a total refund Update #3: it is now day 11 and they are just now ordering my new phone....un fucking believable. No idea when it will be received and staples doesn't even offer to try and expedite the order. They just basically said "sucks for you" Update #4: day 16. They still have no idea when they will have my phone, let alone when I will receive it. Over 2 weeks without a phone. Left a message for the presidents office and that did NOTHING. HOW IS THIS ACCEPTABLE TO THEM!?!?! Updat #5: day WHO KOWS HOW THE FUCK LONG. Over 20 days definitely. No phone. No one helping or answering. Do I have to just buy a new phone? If I don't receive my property soon I'm suing. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! This place is worse than a joke, they're like criminals. I paid them to repair a cracked iPhone screen. Instead they broke the phone completely, blamed me for it, and then took over 4 weeks to get me a new phone. GO TO BESTBUY or BUY YOUR PAPER ONLINE There's not a single reason to enter this shithole. Actually that's not true, you should go and spend like two hours wasting their sales people's' time asking about printers, pretend like you're gonna buy a real expensive one, get to the cash register, tell them "I just remembered there's no reason to give this shitty corporation even a single penny" then laugh maniacally and just order whatever you need from Amazon using Staples' WiFi! We always have good service here. I just want to bring a safty issue to the attention of the store. I visited this evening, and rolled my ankle when I was walking in. There is a sizable divot type spot in the center of your doorway. I have the use of a SERVICE DOG, and my balance isn't always the best, so I'm just thankful this did not cause me to fall. Please repair, before someone is injured more seriously. I will ice my ankle. read more

I was in your Staples yesterday Oct.16,2019 and what i witnessed was embarrassing and extremelyyyy unprofessional!! I witnessed a employee walk in maybe just starting there shift but went on register since the line was long which was great customer service so way to go for you Tabitha Stevens. Then i hear a loud scream from across the floor from a female screaming Tabitha come here you dont hear me calling you. The way everyone looked back and was shocked to see and hear this was soo wrong. I asked who was that and the employee said the manager. Now i been a manager for over 20 years never seen this in my life! Everytime i go here you never see the manager on the floor or helping. The employees in this store work extremely hard and are great with us. Im calling corporate as well on this ! Something needs to change in this store or it will lose customers! Also the District manager needs to either retrain this store manager or Fire Her !!! read more

Stopped in to print off 60 one page copies in black/white for work. The blonde manager with glasses said it would be a 4-6 hour wait. They do not help customers that just show up to print things off. My company has a rewards program with them but that didn't seem to matter. This is the only staples I've stopped at that didn't help a customer walking in off he street print things off behind the counter. read more
