Thank you Spectrum for the great customer service. Sarcasm. After a 4 hour plus outage on Saturday,…read moreyes I understand the weather. You now are required to call and ask for a credit. They know whom was out but instead of doing it automatically, they have you now call on another day and get frustrated getting to the first human....yes human to help . This takes 20 min, the first human puts you on hold for five ....yes another 5 min. He asks how can I help you, but then finds out the first person processed the credit, just never came back to tell us. Apologizes for the inconvenience, and informed us we are greatfully refunded the $2.50 we have coming. Makes you feel on warm and fuzzy.... FYI...they only gaurentee 70% of there service which I find sad

I hear a lot of people complaining about Spectrum (Time Warner Cable) but I don't get it. I've been…read moreusing them for over 20 years and they have always been prompt, courteous, efficient and all-around good service providers. I've called their phone service line numerous times and with a single exception have always gotten good service. The one unsatisfactory call was with a young lady who probably should have been off serving fries somewhere, but given that I've interacted with them probably 15 times or more, that's not a bad average. I've had to have their service guys out to the house several times (for example, when a squirrel chewed a hole in my cable) and they've always been professional, polite, and very competent. NOW ... if you want to seriously complain about their PRICES, I'm with you all the way. They jack it up every year and of course like all such cable service providers they make you pay for a bunch of channels that you'd much rather do without.

Terrible experience!! On a 2 years HP PC wanted to switch from an HDD disk to a SSD to get more…read morespeed. Brought it to Moose's and my computer was butchered. I receive a message stating that perhaps during transportation my screen got damaged. I had used my all-in-one HP PC 10 minutes prior to bringing it to Moose's and it was fine. Since it was butchered asked for my money back and my butchered computer back as well. I asked the guy if he could copy my files from the hard drive, but he told me to buy a cable and copy them myself. So, I offered to pay $20 if he would copy them on to a Toshiba external drive. He accepted but also said he could not put the hard drive back in my PC. I got everything back and, to my greatest supply none of the files I needed were copied but just a bunch of stuff of no value to me. I called the guy up and he said he had seen the same stuff, but he never mentioned anything when I got everything back. Took my PC to a real repairing store and they explained me how the screen was improperly removed to get to the drive therefore causing the screen failure. Also, this real repair store was able to read the hard drive and told me that my files were in there. I had told the Moose's guy that thing happen and not to worry about. I was ok with that and had bought a new PC in between so that I could transfer the data from my old hard drive. Anyway, since I was given a bunch of lies, I feel compelled to write about what has happened. This is no manner to treat customers and furthermore if you don't know how to pry open a computer screen you shouldn't attempt to do it. Because of that between a new PC and the insurance I had to spend $1,100. Never again I'll have anything to do with this business and Yelp should not recommend it either.

I've never been told I was on a promotion other than the first time then they said it 2 more times and within 3 years I'm paying more than double what I was before. $70 for one person on social security is too much. They do have a program that could help however it requires a printer; forms from the government to prove my status when every other company just puts my social in a database to confirm my benefits status (disabled not a useless eater) but not these guys. It would also require me to have a car to get to the post office. I'm legally blind and asked for help. I asked them for clear it's in what exactly they needed and if they could send me a form in large print but the answers I needed weren't off the script they read me & I gave up & I just don't know what to do. I can't afford the raised prices and if I get behind by less than a month they cut me off then charge me for the time I did NOT have service as well as a late fee and reconnect fee effectively doubling my bill and putting me more behind. This is a predatory company with terrible customer service. It's better to just live without the internet.

Had to leave at least one star - would prefer to use zero…read more We opted for the phone buyout option to switch to Spectrum and have been fighting for months to actually get the buyout money - then they just stopped even responding to our complaints. Our patience is at an end with this. T-Mobile (our "old" carrier) does not show the phone numbers, just the IMEI number on the close out bills. Spectrum will not recognize them - they say they can only recognize phone numbers. They just give you the runaround and avoid actually coming through with the buyout money they promised. Never did see the money. The thing is they transferred our phones over to Spectrum before telling us that we had to pay them off at TMobile first. So we were stuck without phones until we paid them off. We even showed them a screen capture of our phones showing them the IMEI number and phone number. Nothing could be done at the local store - it all had to be done over the phone. So they made themselves inaccessible, and made the conditions impossible to meet, so no buyout money.
