I usually spend about 5-7 hrs every visit to get the most out of the experience. $50 for a 30min basic body scrub - totally worth it! If you're a bit shy, maybe try this add-on treatment after a couple of visits. You sign up by telling one of the attendants what service you want, they'll put your locker number on a whiteboard and tell you when to check back with them. You may have to wait a few minutes when you come back. They'll want you to go shower and wait in the hot tub until one of the ladies is available to serve you. I think this one was well worth the $50. They scrub every inch of your body, add a quick mask on your face, and massage/wash your hair at the end. Be sure to let them know if you prefer a stronger scrub. Also, they put a towel across your eyes so it's not as embarrassing as it may seem. I was a bit nervous at first but quickly forgot about it. My skin is so soft now! Don't miss out on the food court area. They have a lot of reasonably-priced tasty foods. I came here for my bday for a much needed self care day and it was LOVELY!!! *insert enamored emoji here* If this is your first time, I suggest you come with someone that you don't mind seeing you in your birthday suit or come alone with an open mind. I got the pink Himalayan sitz bath and a body scrub that included the oil rub down + a freshly grated cucumber face mask. I left feeling like they lifted and detoxed at least three years off my life. My sista and bestie raved about their services too (sitz bath, body scrub, and massages). Knocked off a star, because the food is still (reportedly) terr'ble. Otherwise, wonderful experience! This place is amazing! The body scrub was heavenly. I'm still in the process of checking things out. The only thing I would change is I think when they ask you if you have been here before, they should give you a tour and explain everything because it's very confusing. I live everything about my time at spaland. When you come in you're greed by the receptionist that goes everything with you. The process with the arm band, she'll also give you a run down of the menu of service offered. You pay a standard fee of $35 to enter the facility. This option is here if you just want to get away and enjoy some tranquility. You have unrestricted access to the entire facility including the saunas, relaxation spaces, food court and many more. And if at any moment you change your mind and decide you would like to receive a service find you host and that person will get you started. The arm bands also holds the key to access your assigned locker. Don't work you'll know which is your as the locker number is also located on the arm hand. Once you enter either the men or women locker room. You'll first take off your shoes, there are no shoes allowed in the area whatsoever! You go to her locker and you'll get further instructions from there. The food court is bomb! Might not like much from the photos but what's coming out the kitchen is an entirely different story. I had the spicy noodle soup. And it wasn't really spicy, but the food was beyond flavorful! I wasn't expecting to finish the entire bowl because it was massive but I did. Yes, I'm greedy! Actually so greedy that I didn't get a snapshot of my bowl. SHAME ON ME!! The pricing is pretty standard for this sort of day spa. I would say the pricing is reasonable compared to the Ritz or Woodhouse spa in the area. The services I received include a 50 minute massage $110 and a 30 minute foot massage $40. It's much cleaner and newer, and I really appreciate the facility and ambiance. Cleanliness is very important to me, so this place has won my heart. Visiting Spaland with my sister and cousins was a special family bonding experience. You definitely want to visit with people who are close to you because clothes are forbidden in certain areas of the spa. Something I wish I knew before I arrived - you can bring your own socks. Could have saved a few bucks. When you arrive at checkin, you get a key to place all your belongings. We arrived mid week so it was pretty empty, which worked well for us so that we didn't need to wait for any of our services. I had a hip bath, 30 minutes massage, and body scrub - which I highly recommend above all the services provided. I was able to enjoy all the spa rooms - salt room, steam room, cold room etc. and the warm jacuzzi. It was a fun girls day out and we plan on going again read more

Visited August 11, 2023. We had a visit here at 10PM and was able to utilize the facilities for a good 3.5 hours. They close at 2AM for anyone asking. There are gender specific locker rooms, a barefoot facility, and uniforms are provided at check-in. Guest are to leave all belongings in a locker and are to utilize the wristband for locker key and chip scanner for purchases that will be settled at the end of the visit. I've seen guest on their phones in gender neutral common areas but there are sign on the walls asking not to use any electronics. All but one room were 'hot' rooms and one cold room. I found the cold room was "not" cold due to the lack of double doors. Since everyone was constantly coming/out the cold room jus couldn't keep up. Hopefully an extra entry can be added to regulate the room better. The cold room reference was the only bummer experience I had here, but overall a clean facility and nice employees! There's plenty of parking and water stations around the cafeteria. Great price for all that's included! read more

First time at Spa Land. I enjoyed my time there. They have 9 saunas. The entrance fee was $35 which allows you to use all of the saunas. All other services like massages, scrub/exfoliating and V-steam etc. are an extra charge. They have a restaurant on site. I only had egg rolls and ginger tea. The ginger tea was really good. I opted for the scrub service. It was so hood. To be honest, I wasn't ready for how open it was and the nakedness of it all but I survived lol. Note: bring socks as you are not allowed to walk with shoes/flip flops. They do give you a toothbrush with a bit of toothpaste. Bring your toothpaste own as you may need a bit more. Wifi is also available. It's very clean and staff are very nice. It's a drive for those who don't live in Gwinnett but it's worth it. Great space to spend a few hours and woosah. read more

I recently visited Spaland for my birthday after checking out its competitor last year during my birthday. As a lover of self-care, I can't believe that I spent so many years without a Korean spa in my life. Thank God I moved to Atlanta. :) Since I experienced one of their competitors previously, I decided to check out Spaland after hearing and reading so many great things. I don't live nearby so this was quite a little field trip for me, but the entire drive was spent imagining the peace to come my way. When I pulled up, there was tonsss of parking so that's never a worry here. The lobby was incredibly quiet and clean, such a great first impression upon entry. I checked in with the young lady at the front and was given my 'uniform', a toothbrush, razor and my wristband. The wristband is connected to your locker key and that number is how you can charge services so it's important! I headed back to the women's area and got ready. Well... unready. If you visit Spaland or any similar Korean spa, expect to strip down in the women/mens areas. In the wet area with the sauna, pools and massage areas, everyone is required to do so. But everyone is doing the same and I think it makes it a bit smoother. Because I visited around 10:30am on a Friday morning, it wasn't very busy, which I love. The locker room was pretty empty and the lockers were really spacious. I got unready and headed into the wet room. They have less pools and space in that area vs. competitors, but again, super clean, which I love. I was bummed out because the pools weren't really hot enough in my opinion. I didn't want my skin to burn off, but it was a little underwhelming temperature wise. But the sauna? Total opposite lol. It was hot and wow - the strong (wonderful) scent will take you out if the temp doesn't lol. If you're sick - go sit in there for a minute and you'll be breathing freely again! I also got a body scrub once I was done soaking. I was called back and laid down on the massage bed ready to be pampered. If you've never had a full body shampoo happen, treat yourself! You'll never feel cleaner lol. The ladies who conduct these services are so strong, omg. You lay back and just follow directions as they have you rotate like a rotisserie chicken as they scrub you up and down. It's amazing!! There are a number of services available and they're totally worth it in my opinion. The different saunas are always super interesting. Whether hold, cold, salt room, whatever vibes you prefer - you can check them all out. I love that each sauna has information on the benefits so you can decide which is best for you. They're all super cute too! Like little igloos lol. There is also a number of seating options if you just want to relax in the peace of the spa. Since there are leas people it definitely is quieter which is very nice.The ladies who complete the body scrubs seem to be a little less aggressive than other spas in the area. I've been several times now and each time has been consistent with the cleanliness, customer service, food, and flow of patrons. The only con, if there is one, are the hours of operation. I'd love to have 24-hr access like the competitors. It would also be nice to have ice for the wet sauna. As a solo patron most times I've never felt unsafe or threatened. Brought the wifey here as an addition to her birthday weekend. We have gone to similar sauna/ bath houses with it the area before and this is by far a step up. The men locker room was very clean and safe. I received a foot massage and all my feet tension was gone and I even dozed off. My wife received a full body massage which she said was excellent. She walked out of the room on cloud 9. The staff was very professional and the sauna was AMAZING. I tried every room at least 10 minutes. I had to return to the infrared red. My favorite place vs jeju and gangnum. Clean and spacious. Most importantly they make sure everyone is quiet..and they have a theater! this last time I visited they were closed for cleaning. Usually they air Koren subtitled American movies. TV screens and leather seats spread out through the establishment. Upon checking in, you will get a locker key and uniform. Before proceeding into the lockers you will remove you shoes. I paid $28 entrance fee but this may vary as I'm noticing price increases. There will be 2 ladies in the lockers that will sign you up for services that you'd like. I always get a body scrub and add-on the cucumber face mask but this time added the aroma body oil massage. Personally, after several hours of sweating in the shared dry saunas and using various Jacuzzis, I get the scrub as the last thing I do before leaving. I see tons get it before the saunas and I never understood why. There's no issue when one should do it, just a waste if you are getting sweaty again. Body scrub, aroma oil massage, cucumber mask combo - $110: If it's your first time to scrub, you'll have to get used to the slight uncomfortable feeling of your dead skin being stripped away. Your skin will feel a bit raw. No matter where you are in the establishment, they will call you on speakers and you can't miss it. Other times if you're in the women's section, those 2 ladies will call your number. Please make sure to get at least 15 minutes in the hot tub or steam room before your scrub. They even time out exactly when your turn is. The aroma body oil massage can be skipped as part of the combo. The body scrubbers aren't massage therapists. This being said here is my experience. After the scrub they will rub you down, then suddenly you are a slab of galbi, being tenderized and marinated! Slab on the aromatic oil and various head locked positions and wrestling moves At one point I busted out a full hearty laugh. Next thing, I know my naked body and rolls, being in another position I like to call "Getting arrested" position. She puts my arm bent behind my back and I swear It felt as if she popped my shoulder blades out. I didn't not enjoy the massage from them. Finally, after many sighs of relief (or maybe from lack of oxygen from the head locks) we proceed to get a fresh shredded cucumber mask. She laid warm towels all over my body and face so that the cucumber isn't just falling all over. Then back to being tenderize Like bulgogi meat..I didn't enjoy the massage hahaha But she was gentle this time and washed my hair. Recommended notes: -its not good for one to eat and get into heat or water. I suggest eating toward the end of your trip or during with a long rest before hitting the dry saunas. -The cold pool, just go straight in. Most don't know that you have to submerge yourself completely. -Remove shoes before entrance of locker rooms -Smoking section outside entrance, leave locker key at front desk before exiting -If you don't have a license to hold they can hold your car keys -everything is provided there:towels, uniforms, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, brushes. -ramen is just store bought ramen so I avoid it. read more

I enjoy spaland and have been here a half dozen times in past year or so. I'm a big fan of Jeju as well and I'm not sure which I like more as they are both very relaxing and well run. Spaland is quite large and everything is new and clean. There's large recliners in dark and lit places so it's nice to nap or read or write or whatever. Their Wi-Fi is fast even when it's crowded. They have a movie theater area that shows pretty recent movies. Their restaurant has decent food and desserts and fruity drinks. They have foot massage and body massage with many different types (shiatsu, Swedish, oil, and some others I've forgotten). They have separate locker wet spas for men and women and I can only comment on the men's side. It's very nice and clean and there's steam, showers, and three pools. Two warm and one cool. It's not terribly cold but still bracing after the steam room. Oddly, there's no sauna, but only a small flaw. There's about a dozen different rooms in the mixed gender areas with different interiors- precious metals, hot clay, cool and more. More quiet, dark places for napping. The staff are smart, friendly, helpful, and plentiful. One neat thing is that they have quite a few devices set up with info on how they clean the air for pathogens. They had a robot that I had never seen before by Hyundai that was designed to disinfect, but it was charging the entire time I was here (4 hours). We felt relaxed and refreshed after our visit. It is a very spacious facility however, I would recommend going on a week day to avoid crowds. Also, if you would like to receive any of the services or eat at the food court arrive before 7:00pm. You can expect to see people taking naps with provided blankets. They have several saunas in the clothed, unisex, open area. My favorites are the Pink Himalayan Salt, Charcoal, and the ice box cold sauna you use before leaving to bring your core temp back down. Separately though, women have a yoni steam, and also there's a hot tub and swimming pool but you must wash off completely and then you may go inside. Their prices are a tad bit cheaper than Jejus, but unlike Jeju's, they're not 24 hours. So for all my helpers who's looking for an overnight getaway, Spa Land isn't it. The food is delicious, and they offer to go boxes for any food unfinished. They have warm beds with infrared lights for you to sleep on, in addition to mats as well. This place is very new compared to Jejus of course, and more of the Asians, whites, and Hispanics visit this location than Jejus. If you're looking for relaxation, this the place. We knew we wanted to check out a Korean spa while in Atlanta, so we decided on Spa Land. Place seemed a bit new and very big and spacious. Very nice since there wasn't hardly anyone when we visited. It was our first time to a Korean spa and the front desk lady spoke to us on how things work. We got a key to a locker and some shorts and shirts you wear throughout your stay. Men and Women have their own designated area for changing and showers. There is a community Sauna area where you are able to meet up. The Sauna area was big with each sauna being all different and provide different benefits. I enjoyed all of them and probably stayed in each for 15 mins. They offer different packages for massage and body scrubs. I opt out of the body scrub but did get a full body massage. It was my first time getting a full body massage and it felt great. I am probably hooked on body massages now. There is a food court, since you are able to spend all day here and order food if you do get hungry. We didn't get any food here since we knew we were eating out. Check this place out if you want to have a nice place to relax. I visited Spaland with my wife to celebrate her birthday. She's been wanting to have a spa day for some time, so I figured I'd take her somewhere we haven't been before. We've been to a Korean spa before, but it's definitely been a while. The Parking: Free parking. Huge parking lot. The Service: Everyone was really nice! The Experience: Prior to arriving, I gave Spaland a call to book reservations, but was told we didn't need one and that it's basically first come, first served. That being the case, we arrived first thing in the morning (on a Sunday). We were greeted by someone in the lobby and she helped us figure out what services we wanted done and how much it would be. She then informed us of a gift card sale that they were having, which actually is a pretty good deal if you plan on getting a lot of services done. We were then given keys for our lockers, which not only service in that capacity, but also used as a pay method while inside. After this, we went to our locker rooms to disrobe for our body scrubs. The body scrub was great. I felt super smooth and clean afterwards. After taking a dip in the hot tub and steam sauna, I met up with my wife for our Shiatu massages. Mine apparently felt pretty good, because I was sleep about halfway through. The Food: I had Korean Orange chicken which was ok. The chicken wasn't crispy, but the Mango smoothie was to die for. The Saunas: There are several saunas to partake in while at Spaland, which all have different benefits. The saunas include: Jade Sauna, Rock Salt Sauna, BulGaMa, Rock Salt Natural Clay Sauna, Charcoal Sauna, Ice Sauna, Gold Sauna, Jewel Sauna, Oxygen Sauna. My favorite was probably the Ice Sauna. Granted, we did go on a Friday night, granted we were traveling and I was really tired and just wanted to relax, all of the rooms were full and I didn't even want to try any of the food However, my husband had a fabulous time, he loved all the rooms, the food was delicious, and overall the spa was really clean. If you've never been to a Korean spa before, you should definitely try this one out but maybe not on a Friday or Saturday night and maybe at last time less busy. After seven, I think every day there's some sort of promotion, where you get a percentage off or a certain amount off, there was a line, and we thankfully waited till after seven to get that deal, just ask them, but I know that it's much cheaper. read more

While visiting Atlanta, my wife and I stopped by Spa Land & Sauna on a Tuesday morning at about 11:00 AM and stayed until 5:00 PM. We have visited other Korean spas in Virginia, California and Nevada, so we are familiar with the concept. Spa Land is beautiful inside. Women receive their uniforms at check-in but men receive their uniforms in the locker room. Unlike other Korean spas that we've visited, there is no shoe locker. This seems to be a sanitation issue with people walking in the locker room with shoes on in the same area with others who are barefoot. The men's wet area contains about ten standup showers and about five sit down showers. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided. The wet area also includes two hot tubs, a cold pool and a steam sauna. There is no dry sauna in the men's wet area. Body scrubs are also done in the wet area behind a four foot wall. The coed area contains several several poultice rooms including salt, jade, Bulgama, ice, etc. There are also lots of places to lay down and sit including several heated stone seats. Other coed areas include a wellness room with infrared lights, a mat area and additional heated stone beds with infrared domes. Some really nice things about Spa Land was the minimum amount of lighting and the heated floor throughout. Interestingly, the low lighting seems to provide a calm ambience in the coed area and people are really conscious about their voice levels. The restaurant had plenty of seating and the menu looked similar to other Korean spas that we've visited, but we didn't purchase any food. Spa Land also has several types of spa services and a children's area. Sp Land was a nice experience and offered what I expected of a Korean spa and more. The price was $38, which was also good. One thing that bothered us was that similar to Jeju, Spa Land keeps your identification at the front desk during your visit. No one could explain why and it didn't make sense since they already have your credit card number for food, treatments, etc. It seems like an unnecessary risk that Spa Land is accepting especially if it loses your ID or gives it to the wrong person. read more

We came here on a Friday morning right when they opened and had great service right away. There was hardly anyone here yet which was nice and relaxing. Not sure if I would have had such a wonderful experience if it was crowded but thankfully that wasn't the case. I would recommend coming on a weekday. I got the 30 min body scrub. The place is very clean and sanitary. The hot tub area is nice and spacious. The service was great, everyone was very friendly and there were a lot of staff around to clean and answer any questions. My husband got the 30 min foot reflexology and he said it was so relaxing he almost fell asleep. There were many different room (salt, jewel, oxygen, charcoal, gold, etc). Many of them were hot so it's the perfect place to detox. There's a lot of quiet places with large plush chairs to relax or nap. In the middle of the main area was the cafeteria, which had traditional Korean dishes. We ordered ddukboki and naegmyun. They dishes were good, not great. It hit the spot though. It's also pricey. We took our wedding party of 14 to Spaland for some relaxation and indulgence before our rehearsal dinner. The Staff was GREAT! In advance, we met with Jay (the manager) and secured gift cards for everyone, and established the number of people in our group. Each person got their admission and a few hundred bucks to cover services and gratuities. By making arrangements in advance, they were able to schedule our services as a group, so there was no waiting. This is important because most of the best services are separated by gender. The facilities were spotlessly clean - and I love the cleaning robot and air sterilization panels. The food I got was good. There's so much great Korean food, I love to try new foods - before I pay full-service restaurant prices. It was a great time to connect with the other members of the wedding party, and the staff treated Pam and me like heroes. The other guests were also really excited for us as well. It was a special day! First time going to korean public spa with my friends, I feel like a little bit awkward and embarrassed。I usually take a shower alone because I am southerner of China no really like to have a bath together 。w(ﾟﾟ)w、After shocking of seeing naked people , Yup I had a time to make me feel comfortable in the hot tube。The hot tube is awesome and make me feel so relaxing and soaking into it 。o(*////////*)q I also requested the Scrub service, I had to said that was great decision, my every inches of skins are alive and refreshing 。。After the spa, we went to cafeteria, I like the sweet rice drink and grilled eggs。(⁎⁍⁍⁎)The food was so satisfying me ！ Then I went to the Sauna rooms to rest a little bit 。There are ten different kinds of sauna rooms 。I like the Jewel, Rock salt and Charcoal rooms。Last thing I do just lay down soft and feel into sleeping 。This was a very wonderful experience and I really enjoy it 。I will come back next time ! read more

I had the absolute best time at Spa Land today! I have been to a few Korean saunas before but this was definitely the biggest. There is so much to do, several co-Ed saunas, and the place is very clean. I enjoyed the different saunas and the wet area, as well as just relaxing in the nice recliner chairs. Plenty of room for relaxing and they even show movies in one room. I also had the body scrub in the wet area and a massage out on the floor. The massage is co-Ed but private with curtains and you do take your clothes off. The scrub was great, not painful at all and got plenty of dirt off. The massage was also very nice. They really massage every inch of your body and I felt so relaxed afterwards. This was truly an amazing spa and I can't wait to come back! read more

Before I begin my 5 star review, allow me to warn potential customers who have issues with full nudity. You *will* be naked for a scrub. You *will* be naked in front of other, same-sex, customers. If you can handle that, don't come. It's a Korean Spa. That's how it works. The co-ed portion of the spa is fully clothed. My experience was great. "Fred" went above and beyond during my body scrub. Yung (sp?) walked on my back with firmness and gentleness at the same time during the Shiatu massage. Tipped them both for their excellent service. Would come back if ever in town. read more

Since Spa Land is much newer and larger than the other spas in Duluth, I was assuming that it would be better.  Actually, it wasn't better at all.  Their services are extremely lacking and they were not well staffed during my visit.  Services were also difficult to locate.  Other customers were becoming just as frustrated as I was. Looking for a foot massage?  You will need to wait over an hour as there is only ONE person on staff doing massages.  Looking for a salt scrub?  Same issue!  I spent most of my time wandering around and scheduling appointments rather than relaxing. The main hall with all of the saunas is just ok, very empty shopping mall feeling, not warm and inviting like some of the other spas in the area. Clean, well organized, less crowded in the morning on weekdays and lots of options for services provided throughout. Be aware their services are very expensive and food is not top notch restaurant meals. Ambience and the sauna for minimum of 4-5 hours use makes up for the admission fee. read more

This is the essential place for R&R for anyone needing take a break from reality. This past Sunday, I went here with my mom and sister. The general price for admission for me and my sister was 38 dollars and my mom was 28(senior discount). For the purchase of 38 dollars you get access to a multitude of amnesties such as 8 saunas, a steam room, 3 pools to access one being extremely cold and other two being lukewarm. You are given a uniform and a toothbrush. In the women's locker room, there's no shoes allowed. You are allowed to wash/shower in the wet bath area however you must be nude. The uniform is for sitting and being in the saunas. My favorite one was the rock salt and oxygen sauna. It helps to pull out any toxins/impurities in the body. Most of the saunas does hell with reduce inflammation in the body as well. For additional costs you can opt to do massages, hip bath, body exfoliation and body oil massage. This is great for also for a carefree self care day. My mom has been wanting to come for months, and after her experience she said she'll be back very soon. Definitely recommend for the experience but most likely won't come back. I came here for my birthday after reading a ton of reviews and deciding between spaland vs jeju. I came on a Friday morning at 9:30am and it was pretty calm, probably only 5 other women there. Services received: - Foot Massage - Chair Massage - Body Scrub & Oil I also tried out the hot tubs, used the showers multiple times, and ordered food in the food court. I didn't spend any time in the saunas although I did peek my head in each and they were all clean and empty. (I personally don't like saunas). Pros: clean facilities, calm, easy to navigate, not overwhelming for a first timer, short wait on services. Cons (quality & customer service) : - pricey. I spent $300 for two people over the course of 3 hours. It was worth it solely as a new experience but the quality of services didn't warrant the price tag. - it was very hard to figure out what to do when I walked in to the locker rooms. I didn't know when to undress, who to ask to order services, what they flow was, etc... Tips: - you don't have to undress to nude if you don't want to. You can change at your locker space into your tee & shorts and just hang out in the main area. - if you get a body scrub, I would order after I've spent the time I wanted in the hot tub. It felt weird to do the hot tub after the scrub. - if you're easily 'touched out', skip the body scrub. While I did feel smooth after, I didn't enjoy it. It was rough and not very relaxing. - I got a massage in the main hall, then went back to the women's quarters for hot tub & body scrub, then back out to the main quarters for food. This seemed like a great flow for the time I spent there (3 hours) - bring your own soap, shampoos, nice lotions etc! It makes the showers a much more enjoyable experience - don't shave immediately before going, especially if you're going to get a body scrub. The scrubs are so abrasive and might make you prone to infection. - *natural hair girlies* bring a shower cap!! Especially if you're getting a body scrub. They throw buckets of water on you and your hair will get wet! - bring cash if you want to tip any of the staff read more
