I was in need of a self care spa day and SpaLand was what I needed. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, checked in and paid for the day pass. They had a gift card option but I didn't get it. The place was so clean in the ladies locker room. I enjoyed sitting in the saunas, stretching, napping, and being mindful. I left after 5 hours ready to conquer the week.

I came in here for the scrub massage and I walked out feeling so refreshed! It is a Korean spa with co-ed dry sauna rooms (so many to choose from), and the common area is a good place to relax between the sauna rooms too. They also have wet sauna that is separated by gender. There are no swim suits allowed in the area, so you gotta be comfortable with your own body and others. You must shower before you get in the water. The scrub massage was an hour long, the masseuse was accommodating to my pressure preference and very thorough.

This was my first time coming to spa land but it will not be my last. I came here to celebrate my friend's birthday. This place was easy to find. It's huge and is inside of this plaza. There's a lot of free parking. The cost of entry is $38. This gives you access to the heated pool, steam room, saunas, and common areas. My friends enjoyed the yoni stream and a body scrub. I even went to the food court and got some beef bulgogi and ginger tea. It was really good. I can't wait to come back

Viewing TikToks will have you doing or trying crazy things. I kept seeing videos on Korean body scrubs and SpaLand had great reviews. You pay an entrance fee, which is an all access pass to all the areas, which services being an additional fee. The locker room for ladies leads you to the steam sauna, hot and cold plunge pools and the scrub areas. The experience was great. I could have done another 15 minutes with the scrub but I also enjoyed the various sauna rooms. Soft music is piped in the sauna area, which makes for the ultimate relaxing experience. This was so worth the drive in traffic and every penny I spent!

Came in for a day of relaxation. It was really interesting this was my first day spa/bath house. They offered a shorts outfit to change into in the locker room area if you go to the bath area you do have to be naked. In the main area everyone has on their shorts and it's coed. There were like seven sauna rooms where were all great I think the charcoal was my favorite. There are infrared beds. Rest area with seating. I also saw a kids area. There is a cafe area. I tried the fried dumplings and veggie egg rolls. Both were very good. I also got the body scrub and wow I'm not sure if my skin has even been this exfoliated. It was different having something scrub you down from literally head to toe but cool experience. They even shampoo your hair during the scrub if you like. I think the service was well worth the price. I feel as if after you get through the being naked around strangers and try to relax it's a calming space.

I absolutely love this place for a self care day! For $38 you get hot tubs, cold tubs, multiple saunas, infrared beds, stone sofas that heat up and you can Lounge in. You can order other services as well but they will cost most but it's TOTALLY worth it. Give it a try!

Pleasant experience, worth every penny! You pay an entrance fee, around $40 which gives you access to a variety of saunas and the jacuzzi area. All other services are an additional fee, i.e. body scrubs/massages,etc. Very clean facility and spacious. There's also a "food court". Either I was just hungry or the food/smoothies were pretty good. That part is unclear lol. I will definitely be back to this spa. This place is a hidden gem.

I wish I was introduced to this place earlier!! I love the different types of spas this place as to offer as well all the other pampered service and food. When I entered, the front desk checked me in and showed explained everything, gave toothbrush and clothes to change into. Then you go to locker room and get ready then enter coed spa where you can try different spas (gold spa, jewelry spa, freeze spa, etc) or go to resting place to rest or food area to eat. Everything is so serene it feels as if all the problem go away and you are just in the present. For self care day, I highly recommend coming here.

Who says Thanksgiving has to be all about turkey and stuffing? This year, I kicked off the holiday with a much-needed dose of relaxation at SpaLand! A group of friends and I decided to take advantage of their Thanksgiving Day hours, and I'm so glad we did. It had been far too long since I'd indulged in a luxurious hip bath, and it was pure bliss. The warm water and soothing ambiance washed away all my stress. Following that, we treated ourselves to a revitalizing reflexology session. Let me tell you, you don't know what you're missing until you experience the magic of reflexology. To complete our spa day, we spent some time unwinding in the serene saunas. As the day progressed, the spa started to fill up, so we timed our departure perfectly. SpaLand is truly my sanctuary. I love the feeling of disconnecting from the world and simply being present in the moment. I highly recommend everyone to experience the tranquility and rejuvenation that SpaLand offers. #ashsaidit

Well, well, well....what an experience! I had the day off and had received a gift certificate for Mother's Day, so I went. What an enjoyable experience. Let me start by saying it's a massive venue! I wasn't expecting it to be so large. There are at least 10 individual, different types of saunas. They offer all types of massages, to include foot, whole body, facial, etc. I had a whole body massage, and let me tell you what....Ms. Nancy worked those stressors right out of my body! If o got the lotto, I'm going back to get her because I'd love to have massages regularly from her, lol! The only thing I wasn't too pleased about was the fact that most of the employees didn't speak English. This made it challenging to get information, especially for someone like me who hadn't been before. The only information I knew about what to expect was by way of Yelp & Google reviews. There was a food court, but I found my selection underwhelming. But all things considered, I'd definitely return!

This was my first time visiting Spaland and it surely won't be my last. It was the ULTIMATE rejuvenating experience. Everywhere was very clean and relaxing, I thoroughly reviewed other Yelpers reviews which was super helpful. I decided to add the foot massage and body scrub which was AMAZING. As other Yelpers said they DON'T miss an inch of your body. I felt so silky and smooth afterwards. I did that first and recommend doing it right away as it helps prepare your body to intake the treatment rooms. It was actually the helpful staff at the check in desk that suggested this and I'm glad they did. Later on I did the foot massage which was just ok. Not something I would spend extra money to do again. I was reading the description of each treatment room and trying to figure out what's the best way to get through all of them. The manager was passing then so kindly stopped and asked if he could help. I asked the question. He recommended that I do 2-3 rooms for 10-15 minutes then go to cold room to close my pores so I don't get dehydrated. Of course I had a large bottle of water with me. I followed his suggestion and it worked WELL. I blocked my day to enjoy the full experience so it was not rushed. Afterwards my joints and entire body was so relaxed. I purposely went during the week as other Yelpers says it gets busy on weekends. I didn't want to deal with any crowd and it wasn't at all crowded. I didn't eat there so I cannot comment on the food. If you need to reset mentally, physically or a day for yourself this is the place to go. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!! Be sure to get the body scrub too.

Spa Land is a Korean bathhouse featuring hot and cold tubs, steam rooms, saunas, and a variety of spa services. The spa is open daily until at least midnight (spa services and food court close at 9:30pm). It is located in Duluth International Village (near the intersection of N. Berkeley Lake Road and Buford Highway). My husband and a couple of my friends love a bathhouse, and Spa Land is one of their favorites. My husband also recommends Gangnam but primarily because it is closer to home; however, he agrees the Spa Land is cleaner and more spacious. It is the perfect staycation where one can unwind and engage in diverse health and beauty rituals. The entry fee covers the cost of lockers, showers, clothing for the co-ed areas, and unlimited use of the tubs, saunas, and infrared stations. Spa services, such as scrubs, massages, and v-steams, are available first come, first served at an additional cost. Once you enter the locker rooms, shoes are prohibited. The locker and wet areas are gender-specific and include steam rooms, hot & cold spa tubs, and showers (bring your own shower cap). Note: You will be nude (minus a towel) in the wet areas and will be required to shower before accessing the wet area services. I highly recommend the scrub (request it in the locker room); it is a unique experience, and my skin never felt so soft and smooth. The co-ed area features a variety of sitting options, nine therapeutic mineral sauna rooms, infrared beds, and a food court featuring primarily traditional Korean foods. Bring socks if you don't love the notion of being barefoot in the co-ed area. We ordered the following at the food court: Sikhye: Korean Sweet Rice Drink Ginger Tea Plum Smoothie French Fries Egg rolls Sweet and Sour Chicken Bulgogi The french fries were solid, served piping hot with a crispy batter. We kept gravitating towards them. The staff recommended the bulgogi, which was actually pretty flavorful and tender. The egg rolls were average, and I would not recommend the chicken, as it needed to be fried longer. You cannot go wrong with any of the drinks. My husband enjoyed the ginger tea so much, he had to buy his own to stop from drinking all of mine.

Can I bring my own water bottle?

Yes you can bring your own, I always do. They have free water stations in the cafe area but only small sized cups are provided. There are also beverages for purchase.

I'm not interested in supporting places that single out riders or create an unwelcoming environment for people simply based on how they arrive. It's a shame, because the facility itself has always been solid and I used to enjoy coming here. But culture matters. If a business doesn't want to be welcoming to the riding community, that's their choice--but it also means they won't be getting any more of my business. IMO it's only worth buying a package for special occasions (if you want to treat yourself), however a monthly unlimited or limited memberships are too expensive for the sauna and cold plunge. To make it worth it for the unlimited, you'd need to go multiple times a week. It might be more worth it if you add the gym membership for just a little extra but for the sauna + cold plunge membership, you'd have to go at least once a week for any of the memberships (limited or unlimited), to make sense. They count one session as either the sauna or the cold plunge (not both together). So to get both you have to use 2 sessions, which sucks. One session should include a complete set of both. The gym was completely empty and practically all saunas were too, so i'm not sure how profitable this place is. Only a couple of saunas are supposed to go to 175 degrees. I supposedly used one of those on my visit, but the hottest it ever got was 164 and even that decreased from time to time. They recommend no longer than 20 mins at a time. I more than doubled that time staying 42 mins and still wasn't satisfied with the level of sweat/temperature. Which makes it even more not worth it membership-wise. I need a GOOD sweat and this was lacking that for me. The cold plunge was 47 degrees and they only recommended doing it for 2-5 minutes at a time. It was a great feeling and i'd do it again for $15. But worth it for a membership??? - Uhm not so much. Lastly, after experiencing infrared and because of the temperature concerns of not reaching above 164 F, I much prefer the dry sauna (a la LA Fitness). Yup, I can get that at LA Fitness for a fraction of the cost and leave there feeling great with a high metabolism due to all the sweat. This place didn't make me feel that way. Yes its much cleaner than LA Fitness (depending on which LAF you go to), and there's something to be said for that because you want that in a sauna, but all other things considered, price matters especially for what you get. I wish they would consider lowering the cold plunge prices (considering the short nature of it - it's not like you're chilling in there like you would a hot tub for a prolonged period - so I don't get why it's so expensive); either that or double the number of sessions - for the "limited" membership for that particular service. If there was a steam room too it'd be worth it. Or better yet all 4. Steam room, dry and infrared saunas, and cold plunge You do get a private clean room, vit c filtered shower and towels. There is also an iPad in the room to "listen" to whatever you want while there, including "listening" to youtube (not to be confused with watching)....if that matters - but IMO its pretty standard. I wanted this to be 4 or 5 stars, but it just didn't deserve more than 3 stars at the end of the day overall mainly due to price not matching the services. if I lived in the neighborhood maybe but I couldn't see myself driving 25 mins each way multiple times per week for it. The guy that I spoke to on my visit also said he would follow up the following week. I'm still waiting. Lol.

My friend wanted to spend her birthday at a bath house. We've tried Jeju and SpaLand before, but wanted to try something different. There were a total of 4 of us. Roman Holiday Sauna is in that Red Green Brazilian Steakhouse shopping center all the way to the right corner. When we got there, it was completely empty except for the people that was working there. They gave us 4 a quick tour and we started out on the lower floor where the saunas, lockers, and restaurant are. For those of you that have a hard time going up and down the stairs, their elevator is currently not working. When we got there, guess what? There were no baths! We did read about this on the reviews, but when we called prior to our visit, they claimed that there were baths. Nope...it wasn't even built for a bath. We had all purchased the body polish and they said that we can just eat first, steam and then do the polish. They wanted us to wait an hour. We said okay. Went to the "restaurant" and they claimed that their menu wasn't printed nor was the tv working where the menu was. So we had to try to figure out what their "handwriting" menu was. 2 out of us 4 ordered soup. Foods took awhile b/c it was just one lady cooking and it seems like they weren't really prepared....they literally said that they don't have 70% of the items from the "menu" because they haven't went grocery shopping (more like because they don't have enough customers). While waiting, they left the door open to the outside part behind us. Their employees kept on coming and going and the cigarette smell was getting stronger and stronger. I tried to go to the door to close it, but they kept it propped open and I can see where all the employees were back there smoking. Foods arrived...it was good. Since it took them awhile to cook (more than 30 mins), the body polish ladies kept on coming to us asking if we're ready yet. We told them that we literally just got our foods, they told us to be here for at least an our, and we wanted all 4 of us to be polished at the same time. Before I proceed, we did asked the front desk lady if there's enough staff to do the massages and body polish at the same time...she kept on trying to convince us to get the $160 package. We said that we will only get it if we can go at the same time...she kept on saying yes. Finished our foods, went to the polish area and they said to go wash our bodies first and go steam. We did all of that. OHHH! Before I forget, we all used the restrooms prior to this and the ladies that were working there did too. They were using it for awhile and when they came out of their stalls, not a single one of them WASHED THEIR HANDS!!! We're thinking to ourselves, these will be the same hands touching us, but we tried to think positively that at least they will wash it prior to polishing us. Here's where it all went down...if you're still following along...after the steaming room and they called us all out that they're ready, they only prepared 3 out of the 4 beds...we're like okayyyy. I told them that I'll just go lay on the infrared floor and wait, hence, the body polish is 90 minutes. It is what it is and we were all planning to be there all day anyways. After they rushed through one of my sisters, they told her to go ahead and go upstairs for her foot massage. She repeatedly told them that she's waiting for us. I'm still laying there on the darn hard floor rotating front and back waiting for them to call me. Next thing I heard was my sister coming back from the locker room asking them why did they started on someone else and not ME?!?! I lifted my head up and saw that they completely skipped me EVEN THOUGH I WAITED 90 MINUTES!!! What the F*CK?!?! One of the ladies there tried to lied to my sister and said that that lady was waiting for a long time already and was been there. Sis said, "No...there was nobody here before us. You knew my sister had been waiting, but you still proceeded to take someone else". They said they had a system going and my sister didn't understand. That's what got me riling up. The front desk lady (not sure if she's the mgr or what not) came downstairs and tried to talk too....the moment the staff said my sister didn't understand, I said, "forget it...I'm cancelling b/c I'm not waiting another 90 mins and you can just refund me". They tried to say, it'll be another 10 mins. Why? So that they can rush through my 2nd sister and friend? Went upstairs and got my refund and the desk lady kept on apologizing that they're short staff and didn't know until "yesterday". I told her that was not the point. I didn't mind the wait b/c I was already waiting, but to have someone skip right in front of me after I PATIENTLY waited and then to try to gaslight my sister? Oh h*ll no! *can't type anymore b/c Yelp have a min*

Let me start by saying it is no Jeju, Spa Land, or even Gangnam. If you love one or all of the…read morepreviously mentioned spas do yourself a favor and skip this sauna. However if you are wanting to experience a sauna for the first time this is a good beginners sauna. It has limited amenities. The locker rooms are small. There is not hot tub...well an inflatable pool. It was very quiet. It can't compare to the other major saunas/spas in The metro Atlanta area.

He said he would call me back to confirm the massage therapists and he did right away. Our massage therapists were Brad and Karen. I had Brad and my husband had Karen. They were both friendly and had great energy. It feels like a small family business which I liked. This was our first time here. Karen mentioned she does sound baths in the salt room so I want to come back for that. Brad did a great job on my massage. We also did an hour float. It was my first time and I was nervous at first but it ended up being very relaxing. I loved the salt room too. It was just my husband and I there. I would love to come back with a book. Overall, great experience for me.

I had been looking into the events section for several months but since I live on the Opposite end of ATL I hadn't made the trip. I hit a wall, big time, with work/kids I was burned out to the max so I decided to book a whole day and an event so I could really dig into the self care I often neglect. I started with an EXCEPTIONAL massage, when I walked into the room, Renee, greeted me with a warm smile and asked how she can help me- I almost cried bc it was genuine and frankly nobody ever asks me that, I'm always the one running around for others. The massage was so relaxing, renee has very intuitive and healing hands. I then did the float tank, I felt like I was in the womb- sounds weird but if you try it you will understand. I did the zero gravity chair and put on my meditation music. Lastly, I attended the group event with Raye for the equinox. HOLY SH!t Batman! When I tell you I left feeling SHEER JOY, I mean sheer euphoric JOY! Sitting in circle is always pleasant and I enjoy it but whatever sound bath magic is happening in that salt cave is unreal! The sounds and vibrations I had never heard or even imagines permeated every cell of my being. If you go try to make a day of it to really soak it in, the prices are extremely reasonable and the service is top notch! Thank you to Brandi, Barbara, Renee, and Raye! This is your sign to just go... your mind, body, and soul will thank you! I will DEFINITELY be back!
