Helen provided a lovely treatment. I do think that $95 is a lot for a shampoo and head massage. Nothing special. Plus during the treatment that is supposed to be relaxing there was a loud jarring noise that lasted a long time. Poor ambiance. However I had a very bad experience with staff and Nikki the CEO. Earlier I had to cancel the same day as my appointment due to vomiting and diarrhea. The staff insisted on charging me for the appointment anyway. So I said I would come in but couldn't guarantee that I would not soil the table. Nikki then stated I did not have to pay for cancellation. Later when I tried to book again I was placed on hold for 10 minutes and the staff was ugly to me. They charged me a deposit which is understandable. This was my first time trying a headspa and was so excited. Easy to find place. The headspa is inside a nail salon. I was 10 mins early, my appointment was @11:30am and the man that was on the nail side told me to take a seat on the black velvet chairs. I sat and saw there was a lady that was from an inspection place and there was a customer on a pedicure seat. The inspector is checking things off and the man walks away and she follows him, the woman on the seat tells me that they were just inspected and that nothing is clean and they don't clean any of the materials which I say well I hope this side is better. It's now 11:38am and I decide to google the number and call it she tells me she will let the front know I am there. Then a couple mins later in walks in my lady from the outside and said she ran behind and would take care of me after she used the bathroom. She walks me in to this curtain small room and tells me to change and out all my items in a bin for storing. Then we walk to the chair where I am able to lay down. I felt very rushed and she was going through the combing and sensing very quick like she was trying to catch up with time. After a while she did slow down just a bit to massage my scalp. I couldn't really relaxed and essentially also felt tense that at one point she said relax but I just wasn't enjoying it. The halo was used for about 5 mins and then I was taken to a small back room where she dried my hair and while finishing I saw crawling on the wall a cockroach. Which made me question how clean the rest of the place is and I know it's small but it was just not a great experience. I will not be backs I tried to take some pictures but I just wanted to leave at the end of it all. $147 was my final charge for lateness and crawling bug, not to mention my hair was super dry. read more

I signed up for the package that was 95 dollars (the most basic one) but was talked into adding on the water halo. they have you change into a robe and then you lay on a table with a heated blanket and an eye mask. Brenda did an amazing job on my head massage! the water halo was cool but I thought the other parts of the head massage were better so not a necessary purchase. each bed is seperated by a curtain and then the dry bar is in the back of the space. I booked two appointments for me and my mom as a treat for her birthday and this was perfect! I didn't catch the woman's name who worked on my mom, but she said she was amazing! Really strong wonderful massage pressure. I had Brenda, who was outstanding!! From the beginning of getting us set up, throughout the massage and blow dry the staff were considerate and kind, always checking in. The music and dimmed lighting plus the warm bed and blankets all added to the cozy vibe. If you love the hair wash part of your hair cut im just telling you to go ahead and book here. It's like that, but to the extreme in the best of ways. My hair feels soft and clean and my head literally feels lighter after all the massaging and scrubbing. I saw this place on Instagram and IMMEDIATELY screenshotted their profile so I could take a closer look... A place specifically for HEAD MASSAGES?! SIGN ME UP! That's exactly what I did. When my friend and I arrived, we were "greeted" by a parking lot construction zone next to a strip mall of sorts. 5 Senses Spa is REALLY GOOD at making this place seem as if it's setting is some serene location away from busy streets/traffic/construction/stress on Instagram, when in reality, it's tucked into a strip mall, in the same establishment as a nail salon. This didn't turn me off though, I was still stoked for the prospect of getting my head rubbed for 75 minutes! We were quickly greeted with smiles, and brought into the head massage room which was very tranquil. Lined up with a series of massage tables with head washing bins on one end. We were instructed to change into strapless robes and then brought to our respective tables. The blanket you get covered with -- might be the BEST part of the experience (it was so dang soft lol). When I laid down, I put my head on the head rest in the water basin and immediately felt like a little bit of blood was rushing to my head thanks to the fact that your head is tilted down ever so slightly. Also the head rest is anything but comfortable but that didn't bother me THAT much... Just kind of wish there was a way to keep my head propped up during the experience. Over all, while relaxing, I just don't think my head massager scrubbed my head and neck HARD ENOUGH. It was very gentle, but too gentle for me. That being said I was in and out of consciousness so I didn't ask for harder. My friend actually felt the exact same way too. She would have loved to have her head WORKED a bit more as well. Over all though, it was a nice experience. And at the end, they blow dry your hair so you're not left like a wet dog before you leave. I would rate this place a 6/10. It wasn't life changing but I also don't feel like I completely wasted my money, although it was kind of expensive. read more

With head spa being the new thing I decided to bring my mom here for her birthday. Location: it is located inside a nail salon in a shopping complex next to Blackburn park. The shopping complex itself is undergoing renovation for new Publix. There is signage to guide towards the Hedspa. Spa experience: the first thing I noticed was how limited the space was. the outside seating is shared with the nail spa. There is no check in staff Per se. Closer to our appointment time Brenda(I think she's one of the owners) came to greet us and walk us in. She was extremely helpful, particularly with my mom, guiding her to the changing room assisting her with the robe etc. The space has five or six stations. We had two stations closest to the door. I had both of us do the signature 90 package. The lady who was assigned to me, was extremely wonderful however, as I was closest to the door, I could hear all the conversations, the door opening and closing etc. As a result, I found it hard to relax. My mom enjoyed her experience. Once we were done, we were taken to the hair blow drying station. Again, assigned person was excellent however, the one from my mom felt as if she were in a rush. They told us that loading only included drawing 70% of our hair, which is not documented anywhere while signing in for the package. Despite that my hair was soaking red. We were told we could use the hairdryer ourselves if we wanted to dry your hair more-not I did not like that in particular. The hair drying space was also pretty tight. For payment purposes, there is a 2% charge for using any credit card. Venmo or cash is preferred. This is not told upfront. Overall: I think I would've enjoyed the experience more if I were able to relax and did not feel rushed. read more

1 Star (I'd give 0 if possible) BE CAREFUL! They asked me not to buy the Groupon deal and to pay directly instead -- now I understand why. They clearly do this so customers can't leave verified reviews. I'm writing this so others don't go through the same awful experience I did. This was, hands down, the worst experience I've ever had with any service provider. From the start, the information was inconsistent. When I asked if they had a real CoolSculpting machine, one person said yes, another later admitted no. That should have been a red flag I drove over an hour each way for my first appointment, only to be turned away because I took a wrong exit and arrived a few minutes late. I took responsibility, but they were completely inflexible -- no compassion, no effort to help, nothing. Just "no option." I rescheduled and completely rearranged my workday. On top of that, I had just discovered a breast lump and was scared because of my family history of cancer. Still, I texted in advance that I'd be five minutes late due to a Miami thunderstorm . I arrived at 12:07 for a 12:00 appointment, and Andrea was already calling to cancel and scolding me for being "15 minutes late." When I explained what was happening in my life, she actually said: "Well, if you have cancer, we can't do your procedure." I couldn't believe it. I never said I had cancer -- I was just trying to be honest about my day. Her comment was cold, insensitive, and completely unprofessional. When I tried to reset the tone, Andrea told me she could only do "10 minutes" because she had to leave for personal errands at 12:30. She refused to reschedule later, even though I had already wasted two full days and more than four hours driving . The "treatment" was a disaster. She didn't explain anything, gave no aftercare info, and failed three times to place the applicator. She hurt me by pressing it into my ribs and hips -- I literally had to tell her she was pushing on bone. The applicator kept falling off, and I felt nothing from the machine. When I told her it wasn't working, she blamed me and said I "didn't have enough fat" -- completely false. I later went to a real CoolSculpting clinic that confirmed I was a perfect candidate. By the time I left, I was shaking from anger and anxiety. Andrea showed zero empathy, zero skill, and zero accountability. She ruined my day, wasted hours of my life, and left me feeling humiliated and upset. Avoid this place at all costs. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and unsafe. If you're considering body contouring treatments, go to a legitimate CoolSculpting provider. Don't let what happened to me happen to you. read more

The best thing about this place was Helen. She's great. The signage makes it hard to find bc it's actually in a room in a nail salon, which is kind of weird. The back and neck massage was super relaxing. I wish I would have realized there was a part facial involved bc I have sensitive skin, and I ended reacting to whatever they put on me. I had swollen under eyes for 2 days. Normally, places have u complete a form with sensitivities etc before putting stuff on your face. They should do that for sure. I loved that they use Dyson blow dryers and great hair products to quick blow your hair. The experience was def very relaxing. It just was pretty pricy compared to getting a traditional massage. Listen!!! if you want a relaxing, zen, calming, vibe, come here to get your hair washed! It's so much more than that. The service was impeccable! You can make it a girls day with about 3-4 of your favorite friends! They wash your hair in such a way that it's very relaxing! Brenda was the technician that served us. She was very attentive! You can choose the length of time. First, you soak your feet in a foot bath for a few minutes, then your led back to change your clothes, after this you lay down and aromatherapy is done, then a sound bath, then she massages your face, then adds a face mask, then the washing starts. She washes your hair and massages your scalp, your neck your temples this takes a while(not like the hair salon)after the wash she conditions your hair and very gently detangles it. While the hair is being conditioned, she adds the steamer to steam the hair. She then massages your arms, hands, and neck. REALLY relaxing!!! After this she rinses the hair out and then add herbs to the rinse(rose petals and other herbs). And last she uses the individual rinse jet(that's what I'm calling it ) and it massages your scalp! Then she places it on your neck! Like WOW! It's like going to the spa but for your hair! I was really impressed and definitely will bring my friends here! Oh they also have threehair dressing station so when you're finished you can blow dry your hair and have water, soda, chocolate, some nice coconut crackers, or you can have a glass of wine! My BFF and I decided to try a head spa for the first time, having seen it all over TikTok. We really loved the experience! We did the scalp treatment+ facial. They first lead you to a private changing stall to get into a tube top cover up and robe. Both pieces were pleasantly body size inclusive, which isn't always a guarantee. We then laid down on essentially a massage table with our knees/legs propped up, and our head at an incline into a sink. Hair + facial are done in this position -- I found it incredibly relaxing. All of our treatments - from the heated eye mask, to the deeply moisturizing facial, to the scalp care, to the water neck massage - were all excellent. Finally you couldn't ask for more friendly customer service. It was a perfect cherry on top of a calming sundae :) The reason I knocked off a star is because the space is a bit ad hoc. Especially for the price, I expected the ambiance to be more luxurious. read more

This was one of the most relaxing, luxurious spa experiences ever. We did the Signature 75 treatment and it was definitely not long enough - I could have laid there for hours! The masseuse did an amazing job massaging my neck, shoulders, scalp, and face. The water jets felt so good and they put them on your scalp and on your neck without getting anything else wet. The room was nice and dark and perfectly relaxing with a rainforest soundtrack, and with the super soft blanket on it was difficult not to fall asleep! Everything about this was superior. Se went for my bff Birthday. We arrived and they were so sweet and welcoming. They had some balloons waiting on her bed. And were genuinely happy and excited. Saw that we had a girls date and offered to take pictures. Come to find out one of the ladies with the biggest smile and fun playful energy was the owner. It made me and my friend feel so comfortable and excited for our first time. We both have the same personality as the owner and loved the vibe. Then of course it was relaxation time. So everything became zen and professional. The session was absolutely amazing. I felt almost drugged afterwards when I stood up. Then! They had a dry bar where you could go and they'd blow dry your hair or let you do your own. And could use their nice hair products and use their hot tools to style your own hair. It was my friend's birthday outing and we had dinner plans after. We were worried we'd be sent out with wet hair in a clip like some places. Not only did they dry your hair but like I said you got to style your own how you like it, use root spray and hair spray products. We got all dolled up and then went to the car to put on make up for dinner! Before heading out we had a wonderful conversation with the owner Nikki and she recommended some nice places to eat. Please go to this place for the headspace experience and support this business. She has built it from the ground up TWICE after having a tragedy with the first. She has spectacular coming plans to restore her business to a larger luxurious facility and even shared her amazing artistic talent. She did everything at the shop. My hair type (4c) was catered to with gentle care. What I really appreciated was the vast quality recognizable products that were used, especially since I use a few of them on a regular basis. The massage of my head, neck and shoulders was AMAZING. I appreciate Brenda asking the questions beforehand to ensure that I would enjoy the services. I DID. Also, I never allow my hair to be blowed out because of the texture, but I took and chance. 100% satisfied. I will be back.
