My husband and I were in ATL area for business meetings and I planned our visit to Spaland before we even arrived. We live in Nashville and I miss having a Korean spa around after having had many visits to a very large famous Korean spa in Dallas. I have visited ATL before just for a visit to a local competitor which had grown disappointing. We are SO GLAD we visited this place! It was clean and a nice size! Some of these (been to them in Dallas/ATL/Chicago/NY) can be smaller. This one has nice large saunas though not clearly marked as to temp*. I like to know these things. Not one of them was very warm at all but they were all very comfortable. The restaurant area is large as well and has lots of offerings, we tried several different drinks and food during the day. Honestly the food wasn't very good and the drinks are pre-processed so very sweet. We ended up just drinking water. The food we had was a fried. I started with 3 roasted eggs and it was the best thing I had. There may have been better options but we had planned to eat a nice meal that evening so no biggie. The wet area only has 2 hot tubs, both were the same temp* and neither had jets. The showers are nice and clean. The sauna was nice and hot :-) I personally like a nice quiet subdued environment but this one was not controlled that way and got a bit roudy the later it got. We both indulged in services. My husband a 80min massage deep tissue massage and I had the 90 min scrub/oil massage treatment. Both were done very well! My person was "#8" and I would highly recommend her. It is more costly than most to get in - $39 pp. We knew we would be getting services and food so we bought the $500 gift card deal which includes 2 entrances. This easily covered all we spent, including tip, and we had $$ left over but it had gotten very busy so we weren't able to get in for a 30min reflexology session. So we left with money which means we have to Go Back! #GirlsTrip I saw many first timers (forgetting to take your shoes off is a rookie mistake) Do yourself a favor and make time to visit! I would suggest another day than Saturday but if you get there early (10am) and leave by 5pm, as we did, you will still have plenty of time to relax and have services completed. read more

Having visited jeju sauna, I did have an idea but it's been a while since I had my last trip to the sauna. The do have several sections located a large map in the hall way. There is a 2nd level as well. The hot tub is mandatory fully nude fyi!! Something to consider if you want to go with your shy friends. I was definitely eyeing the body scrub in the hot tub room. Wishing I did it! Instead we opted for a couples massage. They have a signup board by the entrance where you sign up and return with your assigned time. 8.5/10 I had a great time relaxing and enjoying the ambiance of Spaland. I love Korean spas but this was my first time at this location. It's got a huge parking lot and was very easy to find. Upon entering, the entryway is so big and pretty. At the front desk, I was greeted by the attendant and given the spa menu. After paying the entry fee ($38) and providing my I. D. card, I was given a Spaland short set, a locker key and the directions to the women's room. Once there, you have access to the hot/cold tubs, showers, a steam room, yoni steam, and spa services. I added a premium body scrub with a body wrap and collagen mask ($120). As I waited for my scrub, I showered and relaxed in the hot tub until my spa lady called my locker number. That body scrub yall...WHEW! I am pretty thorough with my skincare and love to dry scrub and exfoliate, but that lady scrubbed my soul clean in the best way possible afterwards I was wrapped up like a Chipotle burrito and given a jelly mask. So good! After the scrub, I ventured into the other women's area before going out into the saunas and food court. I went during lunchtime so it was not too crowded there. Along with the saunas, Spaland provided an LED area and heated tables for naps. They have an array of saunas and I tried the Jade, Oxygen and Pink Salt rooms. All were very clean and lovely. It is a Korean spa with co-ed dry sauna rooms (so many to choose from), and the common area is a good place to relax between the sauna rooms too. They also have wet sauna that is separated by gender. There are no swim suits allowed in the area, so you gotta be comfortable with your own body and others. You must shower before you get in the water. You pay an entrance fee, which is an all access pass to all the areas, which services being an additional fee. The locker room for ladies leads you to the steam sauna, hot and cold plunge pools and the scrub areas. The experience was great. Came in for a day of relaxation. It was really interesting this was my first day spa/bath house. They offered a shorts outfit to change into in the locker room area if you go to the bath area you do have to be naked. In the main area everyone has on their shorts and it's coed. There were like seven sauna rooms where were all great I think the charcoal was my favorite. There are infrared beds. Rest area with seating. I also saw a kids area. There is a cafe area. I tried the fried dumplings and veggie egg rolls. Both were very good. I also got the body scrub and wow I'm not sure if my skin has even been this exfoliated. It was different having something scrub you down from literally head to toe but cool experience. They even shampoo your hair during the scrub if you like. I wasn't expecting it to be so large. There are at least 10 individual, different types of saunas. If o got the lotto, I'm going back to get her because I'd love to have massages regularly from her, lol! This was my first time visiting Spaland and it surely won't be my last. It was the ULTIMATE rejuvenating experience. Everywhere was very clean and relaxing, I thoroughly reviewed other Yelpers reviews which was super helpful. I decided to add the foot massage and body scrub which was AMAZING. As other Yelpers said they DON'T miss an inch of your body. I felt so silky and smooth afterwards. I did that first and recommend doing it right away as it helps prepare your body to intake the treatment rooms. It was actually the helpful staff at the check in desk that suggested this and I'm glad they did. Later on I did the foot massage which was just ok. Not something I would spend extra money to do again. I was reading the description of each treatment room and trying to figure out what's the best way to get through all of them. The manager was passing then so kindly stopped and asked if he could help. I asked the question. He recommended that I do 2-3 rooms for 10-15 minutes then go to cold room to close my pores so I don't get dehydrated. Of course I had a large bottle of water with me. I followed his suggestion and it worked WELL. I blocked my day to enjoy the full experience so it was not rushed. Afterwards my joints and entire body was so relaxed. I purposely went during the week as other Yelpers says it gets busy on weekends. I didn't want to deal with any crowd and it wasn't at all crowded. I didn't eat there so I cannot comment on the food. My only complaint is that this place is in Atlanta and I live in Nashville, but I'm seriously contemplating moving to Atlanta so I can be closer to spaland. You gotta be comfortable with public nudity, but I used to work in a strip club so it's basically my natural environment. The scrub is a must. If you want to emerge from a pile of dead skin like a phoenix rising from the ashes, except silkier and softer, do the scrub. I spent a lovely afternoon here with my two besties soaking in various tubs like pieces of tofu in miso soup. It was so fun. It's been forever since I left a review! So, I'm glad this is it. I've never done a Korean spa before. But my friend asked if I wanted to go, and I said yolo! There is an entrance fee of $38 when you go. They give you a bracelet with a number + set of uniforms. The number corresponds with a locker. You store your belongings there. My uniforms were too big so I had to exchange. Hehe. The lady thought I was a 4x. LOL. Additional services, such as body scrubs, massages, reflexology, and food are additional to the entrance free. They use the bracelet to track your services. So I wanted to try a body scrub and facial. AGAIN, it's my first time at a Korean spa. Basically, get naked and head into the shower room. Take a shower to rinse off, make sure you wash off your makeup (don't be like me). And then head into the hot tub or sauna until they're ready for you. Once they call you, they'll scrub your dead skin cells off. My foot was sensitive of course, but it felt good. I also got the package with a facial so they did massage me, and washed my hair too. They also did a scalp massage. Everything was so lovely, and the products they use smell pretty great. When you're done, you can continue to sauna or dry off and hit the sauna in the main rooms. In the main rooms, there are several different types of sauna rooms that are fueled from different heat sources, and the rooms have elements that help with different issues you may have. I tried to read the plaques but I didn't my glasses on. Example one room had red light therapy which is supposed to be good for cell regeneration and promote clear and beautiful skin, the clay room said it was to help with aches and anxiety. I think most of the rooms were pretty similar. They're heated and are sauna. From what I noticed most people hung out in the main room, then went into the sauna and back to the main room to cool down. Finally, they have the ice cold cryotherapy room, which they say to save for last to cool down and regulate yourself again. Additionally, they also have a cafeterias... I didn't try anything this go around. But since I'm nearby, I'll probably be back to try this place. read more

It's wild that kids here are more respectful of people than the adults here. Like no matter where you look EVERYONE IS ON A PHONE INSIDE THE HOT (OR COLD) SAUNA!! It's so annoying and distracting! More importantly even in the REST AREA this one guy would refuse to silence his phone and had it go off constantly! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! A few groups came and in the common room they were LOUD! The attendants tried to keep the peace and keep people from being rude and even disgusting. Like don't wear shoes in the locker and common room! They do give you a uniform which I wish they had a yellow one for those who are gender neutral for people like myself but alas I'm asking for too much. The food is good but the ginger tea is not real ginger tea. It's basically ginger sugar "tea". It's like a honey ginger packet. I drank green tea which thankfully was good (yes it's unsweetened). Had chicken fingers and fries just because someone said the fries was good. I heard in the guys locker room you must shower first and then put on your attire. I'm pretty sure something went down for it to be so strict over there. The saunas themselves were actually great and relaxing though. We brought a book and some drawing items to also chill out. People are territorial over seats at times and sometimes will sit almost next to you despite it being an open area in BOTH common area and food court. Would I go again? I mean to me it's better so far than jeju. I'm queer so it's likely anyone else like me may experience some dysphoria. But being me wasn't an issue. I didn't experience any hate despite being adorned with a rainbow here or there on my notebook etc. I think I even saw a cisgender gay couple there too and others like me even if rare. Thought I was going to relax at Spaland... instead, I left more stressed than when I came in. I have been coming here ever since they opened and it's sad to see the opening hours, food, and everything change. Let's start with the Service, at the bathhouse I normally use a towel to cover up my privates but that wasn't the problem, the problem was when the guy 'manager' walked up to and mentioned no towel I understand but not to keep going on about it and saying if you don't like it leave. I'm not new to customer service and communication but he must have 0 work experience to understand approaching a customer naked and prolonging a unnecessary conversation. The food used to be amazing for the first 1-2 years but now it just taste horrible and worse than any Korean Sauna. The taste have went bland like they've been cutting costs but it was getting worse by the months after the first year. I strongly believe it became a "Tourist Trap" for Americans, as a Korean I am disgusted by this place and I can also see that there were NO Koreans when I went. This is now a cheap knockoff from the actual Spa Land from Busan Korea. The Spa should be a place for you to relax, with top notch service, and quality food. This place does not capture that anymore, nor will I recommend this place to friends, family, or clients. I highly suggest you to save your money to go to Korea to get the real experience. The spa is open daily until at least midnight (spa services and food court close at 9:30pm). It is located in Duluth International Village (near the intersection of N. Berkeley Lake Road and Buford Highway). My husband and a couple of my friends love a bathhouse, and Spa Land is one of their favorites. My husband also recommends Gangnam but primarily because it is closer to home; however, he agrees the Spa Land is cleaner and more spacious. It is the perfect staycation where one can unwind and engage in diverse health and beauty rituals. The entry fee covers the cost of lockers, showers, clothing for the co-ed areas, and unlimited use of the tubs, saunas, and infrared stations. Spa services, such as scrubs, massages, and v-steams, are available first come, first served at an additional cost. Once you enter the locker rooms, shoes are prohibited. The locker and wet areas are gender-specific and include steam rooms, hot & cold spa tubs, and showers (bring your own shower cap). Note: You will be nude (minus a towel) in the wet areas and will be required to shower before accessing the wet area services. I highly recommend the scrub (request it in the locker room); it is a unique experience, and my skin never felt so soft and smooth. The co-ed area features a variety of sitting options, nine therapeutic mineral sauna rooms, infrared beds, and a food court featuring primarily traditional Korean foods. Bring socks if you don't love the notion of being barefoot in the co-ed area. We ordered the following at the food court: Sikhye: Korean Sweet Rice Drink Ginger Tea Plum Smoothie French Fries Egg rolls Sweet and Sour Chicken Bulgogi The french fries were solid, served piping hot with a crispy batter. We kept gravitating towards them. The staff recommended the bulgogi, which was actually pretty flavorful and tender. The egg rolls were average, and I would not recommend the chicken, as it needed to be fried longer. You cannot go wrong with any of the drinks. I love how Spaland has created this powerhouse for relaxation & rejuvenation but also has put immense effort into keeping the experience authentic to the original traditions. That is always very important to me, and I think it really makes it that much better. -The locker rooms and "wet" areas-- showers, hot tubs, pool, cold plunge, steam rooms, and treatments (other than steam) are split by gender and require nudity. If you are uncomfortable with nudity, no worries, you can change into the provided outfit and go straight to the saunas, food court, or massage. However, please know, this is an extremely safe and welcoming environment. Everyone is there to relax just like you, and they aren't looking at you I promise! They're naked too and probably had the same doubts lol. -I received the full Spaland special. My skin was so soft after the scrub and oiling. My provider also gave the best massage and got rid of a horrible knot behind my shoulder blade. She checked in to make sure her technique was comfortable since I have sensitive skin. She also washed my hair, yay, I hate doing that myself. Face mask included, I have reactive skin but the mask was not irritating at all. -Lots of sauna options. You can lounge about and nap if you please. I recommend switching back and forth from hot to cold. Also, rest areas are plentiful. -Meditation is wonderful in the saunas and specialty rooms. -Red light therapy! -So sanitary. Pristine and clean. -Food court has a lot of options. More traditional Korean meals or American style. Hot/cold teas and smoothies. I recommend trying the actual Korean food. My boyfriend isn't as familiar and wanted something different. It was okay, but the real deal is better. I promise. -Staff was so kind and friendly. They helped guide through the process. I could tell they're dedicated to you truly being enriched. We asked to speak to the manager, but the staff member said she was the manager. When I told her that we would write about this experience on Google Reviews, she said, "Do whatever you want." I've enjoyed their saunas and spa services on several occasions and have only had one unpleasant experience about a year ago. A group were speaking very loudly and no employees asked them to quiet, I had already enjoyed at least 5 hours so decided to leave. Other than that negative experience every other visit has been very relaxing. The facilities and restrooms are always clean, however I have noticed it's cleaner earlier in the day and that's the time I prefer to visit. The aunties performing body scrubs and oil rubs are extremely good at what they do with very strong hands. I have received the best scrubs and deep massages at this location and the price is very affordable. I definitely recommend the scrub with oil, your body will feel like you have new skin. I paid $120 for 60 minutes which included a scrub, oil massage, and a collagen mask. If you want to go in the soaking tubs or steam room you must shower first and this requires you to be nude, however you can also skip that part if you're not comfortable and just put your uniform on and enjoy the hot saunas. Also, the body scrubs and oil rub requires you to be in the area where no clothes are allowed. It was awkward my first time then I realized there is no perfect body and nobody is staring at me. If you're on a budget or just not in the mood for a spa treatment don't worry, you'll still feel so relaxed and in spa mode by experiencing the different hot saunas and of course ending with the cold sauna, and you get all that for $38. Make sure you try the food and drinks in the restaurant and juice bar and check the hours so you don't miss out on a meal. I always enjoy the kimchi fried rice and I try a juice. I haven't gone to a jjimjilbang since I used to live in LA, so I was very excited to come and check this out. The ajummas working the scrub stations are all quite friendly, and I love that they would notice the elderly trying to get out of the hot tubs and run over to help them up (the one I noticed said she was "#10"); Very considerate, friendly people. Lots of showers everywhere for people to rinse, hot tubs are fine, cold tubs (and the ice room) are more of a cool than a cold, but that seemed to be enough for most people. They are very thorough with their scrubbing services--I did the premium, which was basically everything. I was basically a limp noodle by the time she rolled me out; I was practically too relaxed to walk! The Main Hall is massive and full of different chairs/couches/mats with people sleeping everywhere. I actually quite like that atmosphere. The food court is small and modest, but does the trick with plenty of both iced and warm foods/drinks. Adults pay a standard fee of $38 to enter the facility. Upon check-in, you will receive your uniform and wristband/locker key. The chip on your wristband can be used to make purchases for additional services or food and drinks, which will be charged for upon check-out. The facility includes two gender specific locker rooms and a main hall (common area) where the sauna rooms and food court is located for everyone to utilize. In the women's locker room, there are various spa treatments available, such as body scrubs and hip baths for an additional cost. For these services, just notify one of the attendants and they will add your assigned number to the queue. There are also showers and two hot tubs here. Note: bathings suits are not permitted in the locker rooms and will require complete nudity. I wouldn't imagine the men's locker room is much different. In the main hall, there are 9 specialty sauna rooms, as well as designated rooms for body and feet massages for additional costs. Of the 9 specialty sauna rooms, my favorite is the "Rock Salt Natural Clay Sauna." This sauna includes infrared light therapy inside. The food court has a variety of food and drink options available. Just scan your wristband, make your order, then you will be given a buzzer which will notify you once your order is ready. I ordered the Rice Cakes and Dumplings Beef Broth Soup and it was pretty good! My overall experience was incredible! The facility is spacious and clean with an array of amenities. Employee Jay, Front Desk manager on January 10th, 2026 offered upon check-in, verbally, a 50% discount on all body scrubs as I and my friend, a new patron, a first time visitor, were paying our entry fee of $38. When she said it, I said oh really and she repeated yes 50% Off all body scrub all day, I said okay, she runs my card, I hand off my DL, and she gives me the locker room key and shirt/shorts. We stay for 4-5 hours and return for check out, when I see the full price, I don't question it and proceed to pay my tab because I really was so relaxed. My friend who was expecting the aforementioned 50% off at checkout noticed the full price and we both repeated what Jay said upon checkin and Deah (young lady who was checking us out per the receipt) appeared startled at the suggestion of half off body scrubs and then James (another manager) comes to discuss the matter with both me and my guest. James offered no apologies for anything, accused us of lying and until, I stated, I have been a customer for the last 6 years, since you opened, why would I be untruthful, he insisted I misunderstood, what Jay said. James promised he'd call back tomorrow after I asked that he pull the camera footage. Jay calls me back today and was confrontational and rude, she said maybe I was a senior (as in senior citizen) in a raised voice and said I misunderstood and that she never said anything about a 50% discount on body scrubs ever. Having reached an impasse, I asked what she was willing to do to make this right after she continued to assert that I was lying, she said something very confusing about her working there for 6 years and about why quitting now, I redirected her by asking has James looked into the video and or asked you about the matter, she continued to deny everything said 50% off body scrubs. I stated I will report the business to the BBB, Yelp and other social media and the press if need be because this never had to go this far. Zero accountability was taken by SpaLand employees (managers) my money was collected and we were dismissed as though, we had made up some type of scam. It was unnecessary, rude, thoughtless and ageism was ultimately the last offense, suggesting that I was confused and having a senior moment of some sort. While never truly apologizing or even acknowledging what occurred. Jay says to call back at 6pm on the January 11th to discuss further, knowing full well she would be ending her shift. At 6:01pm, since there was no callback, I called and asked for James. James apologized for what Jay said but offered no remedy. He stated he was not taking the side of Jay the other manager and that I simply misunderstood along with my friend. In other words we both misheard what Jay said at check-in and we paid the full price we'd expected to pay to begin with. This left a great day of spa services and relaxation in ruin. For a place I have incredible memories, moments and thought I also had respect has been single handedly destroyed ny front desk manager Jay and co-signed by manager James. Had such an amazing time at spa land! We were happy we came when we did because although it's open till 2 AM, you have to book your services prior to 930 which we know see at first! To get a great experience, I would suggest going one to two hours before 9 o'clock! The body scrub and oil massage was amazing and I can't wait to come back for that service and the saunas were all amazing. It feels like someone from Disney went to a real Korean detox spa and built this to appeal to people who can't tell glass from plastic and who don't notice that there are whole sauna rooms ("gold" and one other) whose tile walls are still coated in a plastic film. I went to detox and relax, not breathe fumes. But if you are there for the soaks and massage and scrub, I give those aspects high marks. My husband and I paid a visit to Spaland after a long hiatus and it seems that what started out as an already ho-hum Korean spa experience has devolved just a bit more. Uniforms are now faded and threadbare, and the towels are stiff from what I assume was constant cleaning. The Ice Sauna, which is the only cool room of the spa (and pretty important to have if you've just sweat it out in any of the warm/hot spaces) was turned off, and none of the staff members seem to know when it would return. Speaking of staff, there seemed to be a ton of them around, but they were all lounging in the chairs and playing on their cellphones. I wouldn't have minded this so much if things were running seamlessly, but with a broken cold room and an unchecked customer who was allowed to have a loud speakerphone conversation for nearly half an hour (ironically right next to the "please keep silence" signs), I figured someone would hop up to intervene. The hours have also been rolled back since our last visit; rather than a 24-hour experience, Spaland shutters its doors at 2 am. For all that, prices have gone up significantly since our last visit. There is one new red light therapy room that's opened since, along with some portable light machines for the rest areas, but the food court also seems more expensive. The prices might've stayed static, but the serving sizes are glaringly paltry. I couldn't believe they were charging nearly $14 for a tiny plate of vegetable fried rice (yes, with soup and some side dishes, but this is a customary pairing at any Korean restaurant, where twice the serving would've cost far less). There's certainly a dip in the value proposition here, but as far as positives go, the place still seems relatively clean and the massages and scrubs seem popular with visitors. read more

I had the most amazing time! This spa is modern, bright, and airy. It's super clean and very calm. I loved all the amenities. Guys, this is my new spot. It's NOT 24 hours, but I can live. I came during the week intentionally, and no one was there. It was great. I also really enjoyed the leather couches and rockers. One got me for an hour nap between Sauna sessions. Speaking of. Their Saunas are clean and vibrant with great Aesthetics. I loved the oxygen and jade room. The salt room was exquisite, too. I indulged in rice cakes, and they were delicious. There's water stations throughout. In addition, there are the standard massage and reflexology stations. Definitely come check them out midweek. It's a great experience. So worth it. read more

I have been trying to get here for years!!! I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I wish there was a different entrance fee if you are getting a service. It's quiet and clean so I'll definitely return. I was not prepared for all the different rooms they have available. They were all so relaxing. We ate there and the food wasn't bad. I got the stir fry with extra veggies instead of rice. Nice flavor and it came with soup. I also got a smoothie that I was not a fan of. It didn't have much flavor. I'm not sure if I would eat there again but I will definitely return. read more

Spaland is an oasis for your wellness needs. The $38 entry fee includes your spa uniform, access to both dry and wet sauna. For additional services, there's a price list listed for body scrubs, massages and foot massages. There's also lockers for you to store your personal items upon entry. The food hall also provides yummy meals, where your able to dine in the cafeteria hall. Nonetheless, it was truly an experience.
