I wanna be fair, I haven't been here in over a year.. I came for a mani/pedi and of course they give me an inexperienced person ... when I want my cuticles cut and conditioned. I got the peppermint spa pedicure which is 45$ alone without the manicure .. I usually have a good experience. When your paying for a service you want top notch treatment. Not saying that this isn't a good salon because they are, they just need to train the new ones better.. Don't graze over my cuticles "CUT THEM BAD BOYS" Waiting for the Manicure TBD

Didn't wait long ! I got Sandra as my nail artist ! She did an amazing job $69 for French toes, $45 gel + French +10 , $7 tips =$14

This place is mostly for individuals that just get mani/ pedis. For those of us who loves a acrylic or long nails. They're not really sure what they're doing. I went here for a refill and there was a lot of filing going on and I was still not satisfied with the shape. However I had one of my pinky nails that needed to be filed down and filled which the stylist used some mesh and some sort of liquid to hold it together instead of filing the lifted acrylic down which was not good. It has been a week and my nails feel really unstable. One wrong move and they're going to break. She did a gel acrylic refill over a powder refill and my pinky nail which she put the weird liquid mesh on has been throbbing for over a week. Unfortunately I had to take the mail off because I thought it was maybe broken underneath. However it wasn't. It was just hurting from the liquid she used. My finger is really in pain hoping it isn't infected by the soliton used. It wore down my nail really bad it is so tender to touch but definitely feels better after taking it off.

Won't go back! Rushing and cut my finger open. Dirty equipment too.

Won't go back! Rushing and cut my finger open. Dirty equipment too. Then when I went to pay, they didn't want to take my American Express card although they post on the door they accept it. Once she cut my finger she snatched the dremel bit off and threw it in a container with other used, dirty bits!! Appalled and will be looking for a new place.

Nice customer service and loved my nails after! My mom and I did a spa pedicure package, you can chose from four different types, I did the peppermint and she did the aloe Vera. My legs and the bottom of my heel came out feeling so soft - feels really good! We both also did gel manicures, which were $35 each, and I love how they came out. I'm not too fond of getting my nails done, just because they often break from every day life. But this was well worth it and I'll come back when I need them done again!

    Satisfied with my results

It was a great place to get a manicure. Got there 30 minutes before they closed and they were willing to seat us. And didnt make me feel uncomfortable about being a man getting a manicure. They look great days later. Wish I had come earlier so I could have gotten a pedicure too. Next time

    Nice massage.

First time I went, excellent mani/pedi. Last time I went, four of my cuticles got infected and pedi was mediocre at best.

Never had a bad experience here. My only complaint is that they don't do SNS here and still charge $35 for gel manicure.

Detailed Account of Negligent Service Formal Complaint…read moreRegarding Negligent Eyebrow Waxing Service and Subsequent Skin Damage Service Performed: Eyebrow Shaping and Waxing Time of Service: April 2025, Esthetician: T. Result: Severe skin damage requiring immediate medical attention, resulting in prolonged physical and professional inconvenience. During the service, I experienced clear indications of improper technique and negligent care: Excessive Heat: The applied beeswax felt excessively hot, indicating an improper temperature setting. Aggressive Removal: The removal of the wax sheet by the esthetician was noticeably aggressive and forceful. Immediate Pain & Acknowledgment: Immediately after the wax removal, I informed the esthetician, Treasure, that the areas above and between my eyebrows were extremely painful. Negligent Aftercare: I questioned whether a proper post-wax cleanser (such as rubbing alcohol) had been used. Treasure confirmed that "No" such cleanser was applied. I was only advised to use a generic ointment and Vitamin E oil. Upon returning home, the painful area above and between my eyebrows became severely red and inflamed. I subsequently confirmed that the skin in these blotches-on both sides above the brow and between the brows-had been physically lifted and removed (skin abrasion/burn). Current State of Injury: The damaged area has progressed from red to pink and is now a noticeable brown/hyperpigmented color. Permanent Damage: The injury to the skin, particularly above the left eyebrow, remains visible even after two professional consultations, indicating permanent damage and a high risk of long-term scarring. Personal and Professional Impact: I have been forced to stay indoors and rigorously avoid all sun exposure to prevent further hyperpigmentation. This has caused significant personal and professional inconvenience, including the cancellation of scheduled appointments. Initial In-Person Follow-Up: I returned to the salon to show the extent of the damage. I spoke with an employee named Emily, who confirmed the owner / manager was unavailable. Broken Financial Commitment: The business owner promised in written format to reimburse all current and future dermatology visit fees related to this injury. However, the owner failed to follow through on this commitment, and all subsequent attempts to contact them regarding payment have been ignored. Lack of Response to Third Party: I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), but the business owner did not respond to the inquiry at all, demonstrating a profound lack of professionalism and accountability. This incident reflects a severe lapse in professional standards, commitment, and customer care. I have suffered a painful and lasting physical injury, permanent damage to my left eyebrow, and significant inconvenience due to the negligence of the esthetician and the subsequent failure of the business owner to uphold their financial commitment and basic professional responsibility.

~Best Day Spa in NJ~…read more No other spa in the Tri-State offers the services, amenities, hospitality, and atmosphere that BRC Day Spa does. Highly recommend if you enjoy or want to try a true Russian banya experience. This spa is absolutely beautiful, extremely clean, the vibes are friendly, very relaxed. I am in love with this place, and plan to come on a regular basis! It's really that awesome! The service and hospitality are wonderful. Upon arrival, you will check in at the front desk. If you have forgotten your swimsuit, robe, slippers for the pool. BRC spa has men's swim shorts to rent and female suits for purchase to whomever may need one. Which is an excellent service. Love that they have slippers for the entire spa experience. Really appreciate, towels and slippers are provided with the admission cost. Robes can be rented from the front desk for customer convenience, if you don't want to bring your own. I prefer to rent theirs, the robes are very nice. Admission grants access to the facility's aroma, wet, and dry saunas, steam room, ice cold plunge, lap pool, jacuzzi, relaxation room, and the mud/scrub room. WiFi is free and available throughout the entire spa. The spa features a lovely cafe that prepares healthy meals, fruit bowls, that has a bar wherein alcoholic beverages can be ordered. The spa has other amazing add on's that are extra which include cryotherapy, salt room, float pod, massage therapy, and a VIP room. Highly recommend cryotherapy if you have any inflammation in your body. Cryotherapy is a game changer. Excited to try the float pod, cryotherapy, infrared sauna,on my next visit. As well as the salt room eventually. My overall favorite feature of the spa was the ice cold plunge. It was truly an amazing experience, that gave me immediate benefits. Never thought I could ever do an ice cold plunge especially when the weather outside is already very frigid. Thanks to other members sharing their experience. I built up the courage to the plunge. It was an awesome, euphoric, pain relieving experience. I will be taking the ice cold plunge or ice baths on a daily or weekly basis for the amazing health benefits. My other favorites were the regulars that visit the spa frequently. They were absolutely the best, and I enjoyed each and every patron I encountered. This place is pure positive bliss. When I left this spa all of my body aches, muscle tension, chronic pain, and stress were gone. If you fly into Teterboro, visit Meadowlands, the NJ/NYC area, this is THE BEST SPA IN THE TRI STATE! Thank me later...

Only to be met with refusal of service by the service provider. We are African American, and we were very patient with them given the circumstance. But we sat there and waited because surely they weren't being prejudice right to our face. Not in 2026, in Manhattan, NYC, of all places. Well... The male masseuse was giving a customer a foot massage when we arrived just around 9:30p/10pm. The door was locked so we rang the bell. He answered and asked if we had an appointment. My husband answered we did. We sat down as we saw he was massaging the feet of a female customer. But in the interim he started with "No one is available ." "We close at 12am." "I don't speak English." And any number of tropes to indicate he and they were not going to accommodate us. I asked about the hours, he refused to answer. He didn't speak English, he said. So we sat there and waited for someone else to come out. While we waited, another Asian male customer came to the door. He was able to walk right in . He wasn't asked if he had an appointment. He was told to wait 20 minutes. So I pulled out my Mandarin translator in Google Translate since he stopped answering me to ask, "Are you open 24 hours?" "Are you refusing service?" The young lady getting a foot massage tried to help by asking us for clarification (not the masseuse) but at the end of the day we left because the tone was very "We are not going to give you Black people service." It didn't matter that the website says 24 Hours. It didn't matter that we sat patiently waiting. At one point, a lady came out and said only ONE of us could get a massage. I used the translator app again to say, "We are going to go. Your website says 24 hours. You dont want to accomodate us. It's fine. I will leave a review and we will go. Please change your website and you won't have this problem. Translation: 我们要走了。你们网站上写的是24小时营业,但你们却不愿接待我们。没关系,我会留下评价,然后我们就走。请修改一下网站信息,这样就不会再有这种问题了。 Wǒmen yào zǒule. Nǐmen wǎngzhàn shàng xiě de shì 24 xiǎoshí yíngyè, dàn nǐmen què bù yuàn jiēdài wǒmen. Méiguānxì, wǒ huì liú xià píngjià, ránhòu wǒmen jiù zǒu. Qǐng xiūgǎi yīxià wǎngzhàn xìnxī, zhèyàng jiù bù huì zài yǒu zhè zhǒng wèntíle." But it won't really matter what hours their website says... if they don't want to service Black people then, that's the main issue. And that is not okay. In the uber home, my husband was angered to no end because he as well as I knew that they were flat out giving us racist treatment. The look on the female customer's face said it all once the other non-Black customer came in and was given an appointment immediately. She just didn't have the wherewithal to say anything in our defense. Completely demoralizing.

I had…read morebeen to the King Spa in Niles, IL several times and absolutely loved it, so I was expecting a similar relaxing experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling completely disappointed and more stressed than relaxed. I went on a Monday morning hoping to avoid crowds and have a peaceful day. Things started off on the wrong foot almost immediately. While I was simply checking the size of the uniform, holding it up to see if there was a difference in the width, an employee came over and snatched the second pair out of my hand as if I was trying to take something I shouldn't have. It was not a great way to start when I had barely gotten in the door. Next, the layout was also really confusing. The spa is spread across multiple floors with different sections and stairways, but no one explained where anything was or how to navigate the space. I spent a lot of time in the morning trying to figure out where I was and it felt like I was nosing around someone else's house: uncomfortable. The biggest issue, though, was communication. A woman in the locker room offered my niece and me a deal for two massages for $140 ($70 each) and asked me to send the money through Zelle. I sent $170, including what I thought was a generous tip of over 20%. She arranged the appointment, but I didn't confirm what type of massage I wanted. I foolishly assumed they would ask before starting. We had lunch beforehand - the food was delicious and the portion was huge. Unfortunately, they don't offer to-go boxes, so I needed to reschedule our massages in order to finish my meal. Before even finishing my meal, I went to the massage counter to see if we reschedule our appointments. A younger patron helped translate at the massage desk, but she needed my time slot and took it for herself. She told me the woman would help me reschedule and then left. When I tried to figure out my new time, the interaction felt rushed and dismissive. I was given time without being asked if it worked for me, and when I asked about other options, I was told there were none. I would have cancelled but had already paid, so I took the L. When it was finally time for the massage, we were taken back without anyone asking what type of massage we wanted. I realized my mistake because it was a much more intense massage style and is not my preference. At that point though, after so many rushed and uncomfortable interactions, I honestly didn't feel comfortable advocating for myself to tell them I wanted reflexology. The final issue happened while I was changing before leaving. The same woman who arranged the massage came over and told me I hadn't paid enough tip. I was confused because... it was a tip. She told me I owed another $20 and (to add insult to injury) that I couldn't get my license back from the front desk until I paid. That brought the tip to over 35% on a service I didn't choose and didn't enjoy. I came to King Spa looking for rest and relaxation, but instead left feeling like I had spent my hard-earned money somewhere that never quite felt comfortable and certainly not welcomed.
