wonderful place. very very clean, well-ventilated (i've been to some salons where it feels like i'm suffocating on the smell of acetone and this is not like that at all), and very friendly staff and owner. very relaxing experience and all of the tools are cleaned and sanitized between each client, as well as putting a plastic wrap in the tubs and changing those as well in between each client. i've been going here for over 10 years. my only issue is the pricing is a bit on the higher side. the basic pedicure is $28 and it's a bit too basic, meaning it's kind of short and doesn't include a lot. they spend maybe 5 minutes total on massage and do a very basic scrub and warm towel. if you are looking for a very quick, but good quality pedicure, this is the place. the have other spa packages for pedicures, but they are expensive. they do good work and this is my go to place, but i just wish they were a bit cheaper or offered more in the basic pedicure read more

Very unhappy. It's unfortunate because Maria does an excellent job on pedicures. I had been going to them 3 times before to get my feet done. One Saturday morning I decided to get my feet done and I asked them how much it would be for tips. They showed me a clear nail extension and said $55. I thought that was extremely expensive but I said why not give it a try and treat myself. What I got was a poor unprofessional job. Very disappointed. I was in last Friday evening for a regular mani/pedi. For starters, I had to wait 10 minutes in between my two services while they took someone in who arrived after me. When I got my manicure, the technician used the clippers on a hangnail and tore apart my cuticle and it took quite a while for it to stop bleeding. All the time she was just laughing about it like it was a joke but I told her it hurt quite a bit. I went to get a manicure to relax, not be in pain! By Saturday morning, two nails were already chipping, and now on Monday all of my nails are a mess and my toenails are starting to chip. Really bad experience. read more

$65 for a basic acrylic application and they didn't even ask me before using the gel color and up charging the $10. I've gotten better shaped nails from a $13 manicure. They stick up from my nail beds and feel like claws. Also the two korean ladies kept switching back and forth and my one hand has a slightly different nail shape than the other. This is one of the best nail salons I've been to so far. I would drive all the way from Jersey City just to get my nails done here. I moved to California, and I still compare all the nail salons out here to this place. The nail technicians are very thorough and meticulous with their work. Never had a bad manicure/pedicure here ever. Service: Excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Pedicure includes a nice massage with fresh lemon and honey to lather your legs, leaving them feeling soft and smooth. They also use hot stone therapy as part of the basic pedicure. My favorite technician is Olivia. She has a great massage grip, and whenever I have a manicure from her, it lasts at least 2 weeks with no chipping- no joke. Facilities: Squeaky clean. Not one dirty corner or nail tool left unsterilized. OPI and Essie Nail polish is all they offer- investment in quality products says alot about them. Parking: Limited when busy. Price: Great for what it is. Manicure and Pedicure combo is $30. Also, you should join their rewards club if you plan to keep coming back for more. For a basic pedicure they are my favorite, I've tried everyone in the surrounding area and always wind up back here for a pedicure. When I started going my psoriasis on my legs was at its worst, the nail tech brought it to the owners attention & she explained they use lemon & honey and it may burn which I had no problem trying knowing how beneficial both are for your skin so I ride out the minimal pain. I have gone after a fresh shave and wow!! does that burn lol They shape your nails, really a good cleaning, lemon honey leg massage, hot stone, hot towel... I just love it!! They have a wall of polish to choose from, I always get a gel manicure & they take the time to help me match my toes to the gel I get. Salon is clean, well decorated, it can get a bit busy, Saturdays & holidays can get crazy busy, I try to go on off days always as a walk in & never wait long, they have a membership program to get points for services not punch cards like other places. read more

The salon is very clean, well decorated, brightly lit. Employees were friendly enough, but not chatty. Easy to relax. Manicure is $10. You can only use a credit card or debit card if your transaction is over $10.00. You'll have a little bit of a wait, as they aren't the speediest nail place but that's good. You're not rushed along. They do give a very short shoulder massage while drying and the color selection is vast- OPI and Essie brands. The only thing I didn't love was that it "looks" like they sterilize their instruments. They're bagged in autoclavable sterilization pouches but I did not see an actual autoclave machine in the salon and I know they aren't sending them off premise to be sterilized, too pricey. Ehhh. Under new management; pedicures are ok nothing special. They no longer use honey and lemon on your legs. Instead they switched to lukewarm stones and a 3 second scrub. Water in the tub was cold and too full to add in hot water... ( they had me wait to put my feet in until after it was filled) Got a gel manicure here once before and it was good..lasted about 10 days though. Got a manicure today and it was bad. I had a guy and he doesn't know how to paint. It's streaky, lumpy and not close to my cuticle at all. Only reason im coming here is because they have 30% off for the month of June. Otherwise I'm going back to spa one once the month is over. Drying my nails right now and I could do a better job blowing on them myself because they're so weak read more

It's a really nice place once you go inside and when I was there, it was packed. They also have a large selection of colors which was nice. I got a pedicure which was average. I don't feel like they spent a lot of time on my pedicure and it was pretty obvious the girl didn't really care or try her hardest. I also wasn't crazy about how they used paper towels for everything and would have preferred a clean towel because once it got soggy it was a little uncomfortable. read more

Expensive for the work they do. I can't believe I paid $40 for a spa pedicure here. My mani and spa pedi were just "ok". The only part I liked about it was the foot massage. He took his time and it felt good. But overall it was an "ok" pedicure. I also don't like their drying station. Its awkward and the patrons sit too close. They do have free parking, which is great, and they accept credit cards (even for tips). But won't be coming back. I rather stick to my usual nail spot. Gave them a second try anyway because the location is convenient and there is never a wait. (Should be a sign!) I used to come here all the time, but changed venues because it was always SO CROWDED. THe new place I tried out wasnt working out so I came back here. To my surprise the layout seems the same but they have changed owners. I came on a Saturday.. and it.. was empty.. I was the only client here.. I was shocked.. Baffled even. This place used to always have ladies lining up inside. I was a bit skeptical but I said why not, no lines, no waiting, cant beat that right? Over all my experience was okay not as great as it used to be but they were not bad. I miss the honey treatments and massages but for a $25 mani-pedi who can complain. I loveeee the pedicures!!! The massage they give is always done with time and patience. I always get gel mani and they come out good too last about the same time any other gel mani would. It's a bummer they don't do fancy nail designs just really simple nail designs but still nice. The people were nice never had a bad experience. There's free water for customers and when you go to dry your nails they also give you a little one minute massage in the chair. It's nice ! Otherwise than that never had a bad experience! read more

It is not the best salon Ive ever been to, but they are consistently good and it's not impossible to get an appointment without a lot of notice. Other salons have left me with bad damage after gel, or really sloppy application, or even worse, attitude. The staff here are generally helpful and happy to have you - which says a lot for this industry. I even got a little "gift" around the holidays (hand lotion), which was really thoughtful. read more

I was referred to Boutique Nails by a coworker at least a year ago. The first thing I noticed when I walked in is how clean it was. Then when I went to the back to get my pedicure done they put a clear plastic piece into the sink area and this was Awesome to me because I been a lot of places and never had this done... I knew then this is where I wanted to be. After my pedicure I got my nails done and at the time I was wearing acrylic nails and they did an awesome job. After a couple of times coming I noticed everyone in there was pretty much using their natural nails and I had them remove my acrylic tips and started wearing my natural nails and they are strong, healthy, and Beautiful. I have been to Botique Nails about 8 times over the past year. It's pretty clean and they are reasonably priced for a pedicure. I get manicures infrequently because the polish chips so easily. After my pedicure I decided to have my first ever gel manicure because I heard it lasts longer. When my manicure was finished and I paid my bill and gave the manicurist a tip she said "tip her too" referring to the woman who did my pedicure. I don't need to be schooled, I'm an adult woman. It was rude. I wished I had the guts to take the tip from her but I finished tipping and left. (This is also the same manicurist who grumbled about the condition of my cuticles last time I had a manicure.) After spending $35 for a gel manicure and using rubber gloves anytime my hands hit the water, the polish still lifted in a little over a week. read more

The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because of the wait. The salon is very clean and the people are very friendly. The prices are comparable to every other nail salon in North Jersey - $35 for a gel manicure, $40 for a pedicure (if Jay is there - get him. He's the BEST). The results are always perfect and they are always willing to give you a touch up if you break a nail between manis. The only gripe I have is the wait. If you have an appointment, be prepared to wait up to half an hour after your start time. If you don't have an appointment, you'll wait at least half an hour. It only takes me 5 minutes to get here so I'll typically call up to see if they can accommodate me. They will say yes, but when you arrive there are only 2 people working and there are 5 people waiting. Other than that, this place is reasonably priced, clean, bright, and friendly, and they do a great job. read more
