Made an appointment for 5:30 on a Thursday, the week prior, with no issues. I did a gel mani and regular pedi. They weren't too busy at the time so as someone was doing my pedicure, another person was doing my nails in the pedicure chair. It was a bit uncomfortable because I had to keep reaching my arm over but I will admit, it was very efficient. I was in and out in probably about 45 minutes and I kind of appreciate that. I'm happy with the results. I wanted to do almond shape and my nails were a bit too short, but they still did what they could. Tip - plenty of street parking since it's located in a residential neighborhood.

I only came here for gel removal. They were super nice and accommodating as I did a walk in and they were able to take me right away. I called in advanced and was told gel nail removal was $10 but surprisingly when I was done in person they told me it was $5. Wins for me! I did take two stars off because I ended up with rings of fire where they e-filed my nails too thin and I ended up with breakage and both thumb nails cracking in the middle of the nail horizontally. Would not come back unfortunately.

Ive come here for pedicures a few times and I will continue to come back. They take reservations. Street parking. Ive always liked the way my nails come out.. If you pay cash, it is a bit cheaper, not sure if it is because it has to be a certain amount for credit.

Such a nice and relaxing salon! All of the women here are so sweet and talented. Will be coming back!

This was my first time at this salon and it won't be my last. I will definitely keep coming back because not only were they nice but their work was amazing. They take their time and don't rush their work and you can see that in the final result. Also they have a many different cute colors that you don't normally see. Overall great experience. Tip: they don't have an atm and no tip on card so bring cash for tip.

Once again, very happy! Nails last almost a month, never stops impressing me. All the girls are very sweet and professional! No wait time, and salon very clean.

I've been going to Lyndhurst Nails for a year now and I love the service. I wish I would have found it sooner because they are great with attention to detail, nail air, and overall making you feel amazing during your service. I also appreciate the many color options they have for their gel mani/pedis. It's female Latina owned and ran.

My nails the first time I went. I was in love.

Well, this is unfortunate. Went back because I really loved this place, brought my sister with me my second time around and it was barely a week in and my sisters nails are disastrous. The day of (Wednesday 7/11) her nails were gorgeous I was super jealous. That Friday (7/13) her design fell off. Come Tuesday (7/17) her nails turned brown! Like nasty looking brown. Unfortunate to say but I will no longer be coming here. Went for a gel manicure and pedicure today and I was not disappointed. The women there are super friendly. I had a gel manicure with a design and a regular pedicure and it came to 50. Ive gone to other places had the same thing done with no design and paid 75. (Didnt go back) love love this spot though. Definitely coming I called to book an appointment and no one picked up. A couple minutes later I received a call back with the woman apologizing for missing the call. I haven't been here yet but super excited for my appointment.

I absolutely love this place! They put so much attention to detail and make sure your nails are to your liking. Even though the ambiance isn't the best, I would still recommend this nail salon to my friends simply because of how good they are at doing nails.

This was my first time here and I'm super happy. Not too many salons are open by me on Sundays, so I was happy to call ahead and make my appointment same day. There isn't a parking lot, but street parking isn't too bad. I was seen right away for a pedicure and gel manicure ($45). Massage chairs, sugar scrub, callus gel wrap, hot towels, hot stones, foot massage and lotion make you feel baby smooth by the time they're done. I picked a pink (blushing bride) that was too light for me, so my pedicurist grabbed 6 other pinks similar to my original pink for me to adjust my choice, which I thought was sweet. They also did my gel manicure at the same time as my pedicure, so I was in and out in under an hour. They also used hot towels, a sugar scrub, lotion, and hand massage for your manicure. I had Glendis for my manicure and she was wonderful. She paid very close attention to detail to make sure I was happy with the services. Everyone in the salon was super friendly and welcoming. They have a big color spectrum to choose from, and take credit card! Make sure you have cash to leave a tip! I don't remember there being an ATM in the salon. I was really happy with my results and will be coming back for sure.

Gel manicure and regular pedicure - $45!
Joelle F.

I'm from Nutley - which has A LOT of nail salons, but none that I really love. After reading great reviews on Lyndhurst Nails, I decided to check it out and it completely exceeded my expectations! There was a lot of street parking available when I went (on a Sunday at 3pm), and all the workers were very welcoming and friendly. I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure for $45 - which is a STEAL in this area. The woman who did my nails (I believe it was Ashley) did an amazing job. The women who did mine and my friend's pedicures were so helpful - they went out of their way to find the colors that matched our manicures (even testing out the color on their own painted nails, which I thought was so sweet). So happy I finally found a nail place that I love!!

UV gel refill with a gel design

About 4 weeks later, no lifting or breaking of nails. It's held up through my mommy duties and working duties!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this salon. I've been coming here for a while now…read moreand every single visit has been amazing. Aylin does my gel manicures and she is beyond talented. Her designs are always immaculate, and she somehow manages to push me out of my comfort zone in the best way. Anytime I think I can't pull something off, she proves me wrong--and I always end up obsessed with my nails. I get stopped all the time with people asking where I get them done, which says everything. As for pedicures, I've gone to almost every single girl there and I have NEVER been disappointed. I usually get a regular pedicure and it literally lasts me at least two months while still looking fresh, like I just got them done. The whole team is so welcoming, professional, and clearly takes pride in their work. It's a clean, positive environment and you can tell they truly care about their clients. It's honestly frustrating to see negative reviews that don't reflect the reality of this place at all. My experiences have been consistently incredible. If you're looking for a nail salon that delivers beautiful, long-lasting results and amazing service, this is the place. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my nails.

INFECTION!!!! BEWARE!!!!…read more (Pictures included, it gets worse & worse) We went in on April 16 for both my partner and I to get pedicures the day before our vacation on April 17. While I did notice dirty looks coming from both of the ladies performing the pedicures, I chose to focus on the quality of work rather than how uncomfortable both of these women (Irene and Diana) made us feel. Diana did a great job on my pedicure, so I will not criticize her work apart from the fact that she should keep her personal beliefs outside of her job. Irene, on the other hand, was completely dreadful. On top of making us feel incredibly uncomfortable, my partner left with both big toes infected. I've attached photos of the toes after the pedicure. We left for vacation on April 17, so I called the salon immediately. The daughter of the owner (I was never given her name) was very apologetic and gave me her personal phone number to review the photos of the poorly done pedicure. She gave me advice from her mother and told me to update her. I then texted her again on April 18 with updated photos showing that the infection had actually WORSENED after following what we were instructed to do. To this I never received a response... As a result, my partner was miserable throughout our entire vacation and was limping the whole time. I wasted $70, I didn't even ask for a refund, I just wanted some help to fix the horrible work that this woman did and was ignored. At this point, I hope the NJ State Board of Cosmetology will be better help. Even after dealing with this unprofessional behavior, I still paid & tipped without requesting any sort of refund (which, at this point, I am owed so it can atleast go toward any medical bill that the incompetence of your employee has caused). As I am writing this review on 04/27/26, the infection is still getting worse. Such a shame, I love supporting fellow Latina owned brands. Just shameful. BEWARE!!!

Layout, design, dryers; all the same as I remember. I went after lunch so was able to be seated quickly for my pedicure [ that's a plus ]. The chair I was in, as the others around me, definitely showed signs of major wear. The buttons for the massage remote were worn down. It worked though so that's easily overlooked. The lady who took care of me did a beautiful job. She took her time, never hurt me, gave a decent massage and painted my nails near perfectly. I would give her 4 stars, taking one off for there being paint on my skin. Overall, if she was working at another salon, I would definitely go back to her. My issue came with the price and fee. I was shocked to see that a regular pedicure was $31. I pay $43 at my usual place and with that, I get a sugar scrub, moisture mask, paraffin, and 15-minute foot massage with hot stones. The pedicure at Turning Point was your standard pedicure - no perks - with exception to the stones. I gave my debit card to the woman, and she told me it was $31. I asked if she could add a tip and she told me it would be $2 for taxes. There is a sign on the wall that says if you charge a tip, there is a $2 fee. I told her to add $8 which then would bring my total to $41. Not sure where those taxes are included in that total, but the math isn't mathing. I'm all for paying an extra fee with a credit card but most places don't charge for a debit. I don't see myself going back. It wasn't worth the cost.
