Being not from the area I was looking for a go to nail salon and I think I've found it! This was truthfully the best manicure/pedicure I've had in a while. The salon itself was clean and had a variety of colors to choose from. The stylist who took care of me (didn't catch her name but began with a G) had amazing attention to detail and gave me a truly excellent pedicure. I've been to every nail salon in Lyndhurst and many other towns and no one compares to Ashley!! I have been getting my nails done for over 10 years and it's SO hard to find someone who does a great job!! You are out in under an hour with perfect nails! I also love how they get rid of your cuticles for a gel fill in ! Usually that's for a regular manicure but they do it every time and it's amazing! She also exfoliates your hands with a scrub! And after the amazing hot towel on your hands you get a great hand massage with a nice smelling lotion! All for $45! For gel fill in with gel color!! I went in to get a full set of acrylic nails done. The hospitality was great. I got my nails done for 40 bucks because they were having a sale. It was a very clean and tidy salon which I appreciate a lot. AI did u.v. gel coffin acrylics with designs and gems and I love how they come out. I've been to almost every nail salon in lyndhurst, North Arlington, and Nutley. Nothing compares to the ladies a Lyndhurst Nails. Whenever I call (which is usually the night before) they always have time for me. I have gotten gel manicures from 4 different places in Lyndhurst and they either 1. Always peel. 2. Chip after only a few days. 3. Are left with streaks and bubbles in the paint. The ladies here always ask if you want another coat if the paint is a little light. They ask you what shape you want your nails and they always ask if the color is right before the begin all the nails. Forgive me but I never asked the woman's name but I typically always go to the woman with glasses she's amazing but so are all the ladies! $25 for a gel mani that lasts 1 month.. can't beat it. And yeah I know they aren't suppose to be one or a month lol but I'm lazy. Love this spot in town. There isn't a parking lot though so you'll need to find street parking. However I've always found parking rather quickly. read more

This nail salon is the best! First off, they make you feel like family. The attention to detail with shape is so important to me and they nail it every time (pun intended) Ashley is a beast with gel and Leslie does an amazing job with painting. No paint on my skin and didn't have to fix an edge. I'm still in shock at how clean her painting is. I've yet to get a pedicure there but I'm sure it's just as good. I tried this nail salon today for the first time. I've been looking forever to try and find a new nail salon and I'm beyond excited that I found one. Ashley is super amazing!!! She's so good! I am now a regular here and love how Laura does my nails. I always get compliments about the painting and cuticle work! This is my go to spot. I always recommend this place. I get acrylic with gel color and regular/gel pedicures. My nails always last for weeks and never lift or fall off like other places. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Ambience is quiet & calm. I would recommend making an appointment at least 5 days before! They take you last minute and walk ins! read more

A good friend of mine recommended this place. Went to Lyndhurst Nails for a full set acrylic with gel color. Love, love, love the shape and the color of the nails. They are shaped perfectly and are so natural looking. I would have paid $60 but was only charged $40, which was really appreciated since I am definitely on a budget. This place was great. I called about 30 minutes before I went over for an appointment last week and they saw me right away. I have had acrylic nails for years so I like to take random breaks between sets. Well I had a fresh set put on by Lyndhurst Nails after 6 months of being acrylic nail free and they did a fabulous job! This was my first time here and surely won't be my last. Very clean and the ladies are sweethearts and do a great job! Total hidden gem! Prices are super cheap and reasonable too. One of my pet peeves is when the gel color doesn't match the feet color and they don't even given you a chance to choose another, I was pleasantly surprised when the owner called out that she didnt have an exact match and pointed out the closest matches for me to choose. Just moved to the area in November and I'm trying to find a regular place to get my nails done. I've tried one other place but the price kept increasing every time I went and wanted to try somewhere else. Their acrylic fill with gel color was $35, which is a steal for this area. The owner(?) was very sweet and took me right away - asked me questions about my length and style. I will say that the place isn't as commercialized as other places - they only have one attachment for the tools they use and everything else is done by hand - ex: they use emery boards after they put the acrylic on to sculpt and shape the nail. But she was very thorough and considerate. After, she used a cuticle oil, cut my cuticles, used a very good exfoliant on my hands, hot towel, and lotion. What a nice experience. Plus, they do a membership card that's "rack up 600 points, and get a free pedicure. $1 for every point." So I wont get a free pedicure for another year and a half, but I'll be going back here. The thing that is giving them 5 stars is the price of what I needed. Otherwise, re a normal nail salon. read more

I have only ever written one review. ( My landscaper.Scott Hild FYI) I could spend a good deal of my time writing reviews on hair and nails salons. But I don't because I would be in a negative head space all the time! As other reviewers have said I think I have made my way through a high percentage if nail salons In N Arlington, Nutley and Lyndhurst NJ. Never really happy only varied degrees of disappointment. I always felt my recourse was to just not go back. I don't want to write negative review because it is someone's business ( and if others like me just stop going...enough said) but also somebody eles may be very happy Who am I to say. LEFT CUT AND BLEEDING! I made my appointment here based off the great yelp reviews, but unfortunately I completely disagree. I am in the beauty industry and usually do my own nails for the simple fact that I absolutely cannot stand being cut and made bleed when going to a nail salon and then walking around with scabs and cuts all over hands and feet. I had a pedicure first during which my toes were cut open so badly that the nail tech could not get them to stop bleeding! She wiped them multiple times with some blue spray for the following 15 minutes to no end and then had to use not one but two different types of styptic powder, ultimately closing the cuts with some ugly yellow powder that is now visible on the nail polish and looks like my toes are dirty. I told her it was fine when she apologized, and she then continued onto my gel manicure prior to which I asked her not to cut my cuticles- I guess she did not like that I asked that because they then sat and spoke very obviously about me for 5 minutes in Spanish, not knowing I could understand them, about how now she is rushing through my manicure to hurry up and get rid of me, even though I never said or did anything and it was she who was at fault. I left this salon with half of my finger nails not even being polished to the sides, my poor toes are still burning and the polish looks so unsightly that I will have to re-polish it myself once all these cuts heal- I am so disappointed and this is right before my vacation! read more
