Found this place while walking on Park looking for a place to get my nails done with my mom. We wanted some place that can take both of us as Walk-Ins and this was just the spot. Pros: + Meticulous work. I found the work very clean and thorough. I got the $19 pedicure and I feel like Angela did a very good job - with the cleaning and the massaging and scrubbing and everything. + Pedicure for $19 is excellent. Esp. because of what's included. + $5 charge for taking off Gel is included in the $30 gel mani if you get the gel mani. (As in, it's not an extra $5 like other places I've been). + Large space - lots of people working. It was packed when I was there but they were still able to take customers - no one was left waiting. Cons: + I got my pedicure done and the lady said I can go cuz the polish should be dry but I thought it was weird because I never just walked out before without sitting under the drying station. I sat at the drying station for a little bit just incase .... but still, once I left the salon, my pedicure was ruined. My nails were rubbing on my shoe and it was all ruined. I was disappointed because the lady said it was fine but I regretted listening to her. =/ (that's why I didn't take a picture of my pedi). (I would've gone back to ask for it to be fixed but I had to go out of town right away). Overall, I enjoyed my experience and I would go back. I will just dry my nails for a lot longer next time unless it's gel.) read more

Had an amazing gel manicure and pedicure today. I did the honey spa pedicure with gel color. It was exactly what I needed after not having had any work on these feet and hands for months since the pandemic started. Also they are taking great measures of safety. Plastic divides all the stations as well a sneeze guards and masks on every staff member and client. Would highly recommend. read more

Does anyone know where Joanne from Nail Plaza went??? I was told she is at a new salon but they would not say where. Joanne is the best and I want to follow her. The best pedicures EVER ask for Betty. I give her 10 stars!!! Update--- after many years as a loyal customer of Nail Plaza today I was turned away because I did not have an appointment. I rarely ever make an appointment but OK I get it but the manicurist at the first station was rude and dismissive. I was told "No" and she put her head down and ignored me. Rude!!! I bought a Groupon the first time just to try the place. At first I wasn't really happy with the manicure because I think the owner did it and I thought he didn't sterilize the tools and was rushing a bit. Anyway my manicure and pedicure lasted almost 3 weeks and I was pleasantly surprised. So I decided to go back and try the gel extensions manicure. The person who did it said had more than 30 years of experience. I asked to do not use the tip to create my nails but she said they are stronger that way so, even I had previously a bad experience with the tip in another salon, I convinced myself that she had experience so why don't trust?! I made a huge mistake. The shellac on top of the gel discolored in few days and start to chipped. I asked to go back to fix them and yes they took me and I didn't have to pay but the result was a total disaster. Another girl did the job saying it would last 3 weeks but instead 2 days after the shellac started already to chipped, the job was not precise and neither a week after I totally broke 3 nails because the tip felt off and the others you can see that the tip is going to come out as well. To cover a bit the mess I used temporarily a nail polish, just for the time I find another nail salon that knows what a good job is!!! I don't mind pay more, I left $10 dollars tip for who did the manicure and $10 for who did the pedicure so I spent anyway what is the right price. I expected to get a good job! Definitely for the manicure is not the right place. The pedicure is fine. read more

This place is ok. The ladies who do the pedicures do an excellent job but it stops there. The woman who do the manicures are rude, rush you and are all around sloppy. There is a definite divide between the woman who do the pedicures and manicures. I've asked for the person doing my pedicure to do my manicure as well... The answer I've gotten is that they "are not allowed." You could cut the tension between the two "castes" with a knife and its bad when the customers pick up on what's going on. Personally, I'd rather go to a nail place where you can get both a good pedi and mani AND where there isn't discrimination over who does what types of nails. read more

I have been going here for a good amount of years now. This nail salon is definitely the best at taking their time and making sure their work has no mistakes. Pedicures feel very relaxing and my nails have never looked better! You can tell all of the workers are very experienced and kind. Come here if you want nails that are crafted with care. I purchased a gel manicure and a gel pedicure from Groupon. I was able to get a same day appointment however, when I showed up a few minutes before my appointment time, it seemed like they were very busy...no one said anything about that. I sat in the pedicure chair with my feet soaking for about 15 minutes which was a little bit annoying but not a huge deal. One girl started my pedicure and another finished it. They were very thorough which I appreciate but I was in the pedicure chair for a very long time. My manicure was just OK, I wish she was a little more thorough and made sure that there wasn't gel nail polish all over my cuticles and the tips of my finger but overall it's not terrible. I don't know if I would come back here because it seems like their prices are pretty high for what is in the area. I had to go with three stars because I was there for over two hours for services that could have been done in significantly less time. read more

Unlike the reviews below, I actually experienced Nail Plaza at their worst. I went in for a gel manicure and the manicurist approached me with a loud "UGH"and inched my hand closer to her coworker to show my nails, to which they proceeded to cackle with disgust at. While she was filing my nails, she kept repeating over and over about how "short" and "very bad" they were, which they were not LOL. I had a nasty cut under one of my nails and asked her to be careful around it, however, it seemed as if she purposely dug her claw nails under that one nail each time she went over it with nail polish. When my manicure was done, the manicurist said to me that she had to put extra nail polish because it was "very hard to paint my nails." I work a very hands-on job so my nails can't always be in the perfect condition, but I do make sure to take care of them myself in the best way possible, and if I need a little TLC, I know that I can always rely on the efforts of a nail salon. Sadly in this case I did not and will not be returning to Nail Plaza if this is how they treat their customers. It's one thing to wait an extra 15 minutes for your appointment, but to be made center of attention for your "not-so-short-but-so-very-bad" nails? Repulsive. read more
