So I told him "if you can't do it just do one simple color". He said " no I got it ". After I see the outcome of what I expected and what I actually got I was very disappointed. I told him I did not like it and he did not hesitant to take it off because he knew that it looked crazy himself. The guy took the gel polish off & put the light pink. They charge extra in here for every little thing even to breathe ‍ Staff is rude and the women spend more time gossiping and yelling across people and the room then they do on doing the damn job . BEWARE SCAMMERS!! I came back to get refills for the acrylic set Ricky had done 3-4 weeks ago. Unfortunately for me, he's away on vacation for like 3 weeks and I needed my nails refilled bad because my real nails were growing in. I sat down with the lady closest to the entrance (I think she's the owner's wife), asked to get the refilled, and showed her the color I wanted. I left somewhat happy because she always makes the length of the nails and the point of the stilettos uneven, but the color was still beautiful, so I could manage with them. Then, on the same day, one of my nails broke off. It broke off and literally took half of my real nail with it, which was extremely pain.Turns out, she didn't refill them at all. All she did was replace the color and I guess used the clear nail polish to glue the existing acrylic nail down1. I already had paid them $55 too, so I knew I paid for a refill. The next day, on Sunday, I go back and show the owner my nail. He had the nerve to look at me in the eyes and say, "That's what you asked for. You only asked to change the color, not refill the nail." I was so confused and shocked because I know what I ordered. I know what I paid $55 for and it wasn't just for color. I even told him that that explanation doesn't even make sense because the nails would break in a week. I told him what I paid for and he said, "Yeah $55 was for the color." So I asked how much extra the refill would've been and he said $15. I told him and will repeat myself here again: If I'm willing to spend $55 for just the damn color, as he claims, I have no problem dropping an extra $15 if that means my nails would stay on for longer than a day and not rip off my real nail. I asked if they could fix all of my nails or at least the one that broke, but he said I would've had to pay another $65 or just $15 for the one broken nail even though it literally broke the same day I gave them $55. Even the woman tried to tell me I told her just the color when I told both of them what I wanted the minute they asked. Before I came, I did call them beforehand, so I'm guessing they talked to each other about the situation and decided to lie to cover their own asses. This is how they treat a regular, so I can't imagine how much they spit in the faces of new customers. Ricky is the only competent artist there. If you HAVE to go here, only see Ricky. He's the only one who can do your nails RIGHT and FAIRLY. He knows what he fucked up with and what he didn't, so sorry Ricky! I'll see you again if you leave this dump again (yes, he did try to leave here once and my guess it's because he knows the owners are scammers.). read more

This was my first and last time there and they're lucky to even get one star. I went in to get a gel manicure. I was told no one does gel manicure except for one girl, who was working on another customer. That's a bunch of bs. I sat and waited for about 15 minutes, mind you two nail techs were sitting there doing nothing. Finally one of them takes me, the woman in the first chair on the right. I told her what I wanted and she got to work. After a certain point I requested to wash my hands because I did not want any nail dust bumps. She started talking ish in her language and began being quite aggressive on my hands. I had asked for a candy cane design on one finger and red/green dots on another finger. I showed her two very clear images. She did the designs very well, but when it came time for the dots, she brings out a blue color. I told her that is not what I wanted, she proceeded to talk more ish. When all is said and done, she did a terrible job, polish left on my fingers and some my nails are not fully painted. I got a UV gel set with gel nail polish and some designs. The designs were mostly crystals and stickers. Although I loved my nails I paid $134 for this set which is high. Visually it was great, but the nail on my index finger broke two days after I went and then my other nails proceeded to lift and fall off. I was on vacation so I couldn't even go to get them fixed, and my hands looked crazy on vacation ! This set didn't even last the two weeks it was supposed to. Place smells strongly of chemicals and nail polish remover. Overall, if I am paying $134 for a service I expect my nails to stay on. The designs are well done, but my nails all lifted. read more

I am originally from Pennsylvania, visiting family in Paterson, NJ. I found this nail salon using Yelp and decided to give it a try. When I first walked in, I was seated right away. My nail technician had limited English speaking skills but she did a fabulous job on my gel manicure. She took off the gel polish I had before and had my hands soak in a soap water which I thought was different than what I am used to acetone and water. And I also loved the nail technician Jackie that did the design on my ring finger. Very different and unique! Love it! I went to get my nails done here based on the reviews and photos here on Yelp, thinking I'd get good quality like so many boasted. The man that applied my acrylics here didn't even last 15 minutes putting them on! They came out horribly misshapen and flat. I told him a shape that I wanted done and he did the wrong shape. When I reminded him of the shape that I wanted he replied with attitude that it would cost more, and even then he did a horrible job! Really appreciate it considering I go to many nail salons, pay a higher price, and they never do this great of a job. I came here for a good experience but what happened was Absolutely not that. I went in for a gel manicure and got the last lady on the row. She was very rude and I could tell she was talking bad about me in Spanish since I understand it. She looked bored and unamused by her job since she was on her phone half the time and wasn't paying attention to the UV machine when it would turn off. And when she would realize that she had to click the button she clicked it aggressively and looked at me as if I was supposed to be the one pressing it. (However I never did because I wasn't told to). Also the actual paint job was messy and on my skin instead of just on the nail where it was supposed to be. Hi everyone. I went to Magic Nails in Passaic for the first time and a lady who goes by the name of Bella did my nails. OMG! I've been in many nails salons and NEVER had such a terrible experience. That woman destroyed my nails. She clipped them so bad and my "French" style was all over the place. She hurt my right toe and made me bled. Both manicure and pedicure were so so bad. I have no idea how that woman got a salon license. Yet, she wouldn't stop criticizing an oriental co-worker who was in fact doing a much better job than Bella. Really sad that workers would talk about others in such a diminishing way, taking advantage the other person couldn't understand Spanish. This woman would not accept suggestions and do what ever she wanted. Very sad. Not only really bad doing nails but a HORRIBLE team player. I want to ensure that it's know I am giving a one star not only to Bella but also to the salon for allowing all these to be happening.
