My fiancé' and I made an appointment on 7/16 for mani - pedis for our 7-day cruise vacation. His was a regular service while mine were gels. The women were nice, space was clean, but we are back from our vacation, it's been 10 days since the service, and my manicure is pealing. They began chipping on Wednesday, July 20th and lifting on Thursday the 21st. Gel manicures are supposed to last 2-3 weeks and mine is definitely not standing up to that. My pedicure, which was done by a completely technician, is still looking as it did day 1. We won't be returning. Gel manicures are $30 and I would have been better off going with a regular manicure which is only $12. The hunt for a quality area salon continues. Well the first time I used this place I was very pleased ! This time ( last time I'll ever go there ). Nasty attitude by who seems to be the owner who when I asked about price for gel manicure and gel pedicure French proceeded to hold calculator press number and said $81. Um no so I said okay I will get gel manicure and regular pedicure . When I asked for a price list for the gel manicure and gel pedicure , she said she didn't have one and came back with a hand written price for what I asked for . So she made up prices as she goes !! I didn't want to share this with others, as I barely post yelp reviews ever, but this place is not good - their nail equipment isn't cleaned properly. Unfortunately, my experience was bad. I got my nails done there about 6 months ago and they gave me a serious nail disease, I bled a little bit while getting my nails filed, and a bacteria from equipment must've gotten under my skin. I lost my cuticle and it hasn't grown back at all yet, my finger keeps on swelling and it hurts, and I CANNOT GET MY nails done professionally anymore, I have to do my own press on nails only for events. It's been horrible, even with the help of dermatologist and a lot of money spent on multiple dermatology creams already-my cuticle hasn't grown back yet. Please go somewhere else. read more

Came here with my boyfriend because we were nearby for lunch and I was in need of a pedicure before we go on vacation. This place was such a great find! We were able to find street parking right in front. They then asked me to pick a color for my toes, which I chose a nice Essie beige color. We then were taken to the back room where there were two seats next to each other. It was perfect!! We had our own little area and it was very comfortable for us. The massage seats were great and functioning. The two ladies who did our toes were amazing! Gave us great massages and spent great time on our pedicure. Excellent precautions taken during Covid. They have sanitizer before you enter. Masks are required of all staff and guests. They have plastic screens up at the manicure and pedicure stations. I have been coming here since they opened a couple of years ago. I used to be 2 minutes away from this spot but I still come here despite the 20+ minute commute. I have been with multiple girls for my gel manicure and pedicure and most have been great! They take their time when it comes to making sure detail and care comes with your nails. Along with the care, their prices are fair compared to many nail salons in Bergen County. Now with co-vid, they have taken precautions when it comes to their services including hand sanitizers, proper distance away from each customer and plexiglass in each pedicure and manicure station. I'm really sad to write this review. I tried coco for the first time on Saturday. It's now Thursday and my gel manicure is peeling off already :(. My pedicure is nice, but the gel manicure didn't even last one week, it started lifting up at the cuticles on tuesday, & I was banking on it lasting 2 weeks for another event. If you want your nails to be filed in so much that you bleed...this is the place for you! After making an appointment to take off my uv gel with tips and to get dip powder- I was told I can't have them off. She ( The owner) said that tips look better. I said I need them off and she refused and made them short to convince me to keep them. I said no again then she said okay $10 to remove, I agreed. 30 seconds later we were back on track to her refusing to take them off me. It's my fault for not getting up and walking out right then and there but I'm not confrontational so I said okay they do look nice. She started to shape them and file them before painting so much that I bled. Then she filed again after painting (who does that?!) and then I walked out in tears with nails that were literally half painted. Do not go here, also don't be like me and speak up if it's not right. My friend who goes here pretty consistently brought me here. First off, I'm not sure how they have a 5 star review. The gel color selection was scarce and you can tell they dilute all he polish with acetone. Not to mention, their tools are not sterile, as the women just pull them out of their drawers. I saw the options on the wall and decided to go with a mango pedicure which stated it was $45. I was charged $60 not including tip! I was told it was $45 plus another $15 for gel, after the fact. $60 for a gel mani with a mango scent? Come on. Just a little update on the salon, I have been coming here for about three or four years now. The girls are amazing at what they do and very friendly. What I love about the salon is that you always see the same friendly faces and consistency in staff which to me is always a good sign. I've been coming to this place for quite a while. It's very competitive price wise compared to some places in the area. I go every 2 weeks now and I love it. Their covid policy is amazing. You sign a waiver coming in every appointment and everything is wiped down after every client. They have good color selections for gel, powder and regular polish.
