I went here as I was in a rush and couldn't head to my regular spot. Everyone was very nice but the nail lady cut me pretty deep 3 times on my cuticles. She also kept filing my nails down to my skin. She didn't realize I was bleeding a good amount until awhile later. Just tells me she probably was distracted. Small knicks are fine... but these were pretty deep cuts. Three days later and they hurt and are a bit swollen. She said she doesn't usually work there so I got unlucky. read more

I am so happy with the result of my mani/pedi! $35 well spent. I got my nails done in preparation for vacation, and the manicure lasted nearly 9 days before the chipping became noticeable. That's a long time for a regular mani! Regular pedi also comes with a brief hot stone, which was nice and unexpected. The whole thing did take nearly two hours, which felt a bit long, but in the end I'd say it's worth it. They didn't have a nail dryer so I had to wait for my nails to air dry before leaving. I think this may be due to COVID, though I didn't ask. Definitely recommend and will be making Grace Honey my new go-to. read more

I called ahead to make an appointment and asked if they could do dip powder manicures. I was told "yes" without hesitation. What I received was not a dip manicure but some hybrid dip/gel manicure. My nails were coated with a gel polish, dipped in acrylic powder, and then cured under a UV light. The tech didn't even trim or push back my cuticles. Honestly, my nails were shaped well and the manicure looked good, but if I request and pay for dip powder nails, that's what I expect to receive. I did not complain because the nails looked fine and I was on a tight timeline, but I will not be coming back here for dip powder at least. read more

I'm not really very picky except when it comes to a nail salon. Recently moved to Lyndhurst and I dread having to shop around for a new salon. Tried Grace Honey first and my search is over! I've been about four times now for a gel manicure and pedicure. The women are lovely and friendly. The service is great. Nice massage with the pedicure but still get the job done efficiently and done right. One of my favorite little things about Grace Honey is they have the numbers on their colors to match the gel polish! Definitely a small note, but a worthy one! I walked in to get a quick polish change and walked out 5 minutes later without them having filed, trimmed, massage or anything other than removing existing nail polish and replacing with a new color for $13!!!! That's insane. Not only were they unpleasant, they did the bare minimum and then had the audacity to charge me $13!!! It's snowing out therefore most salons would wrap your toes so that I could put my uggs back on- they didn't even turn on the dryer for me let alone do that. I will never go back again. read more

I've been coming here for a couple Of years now and it's hit or miss. This past and last manicure was it for me. My nails were naturally grown to a great, yet functional length. The tall manicurist asked if I wanted them shortened or shaped. I said to just shape and make all even height. Every nail was a nice length but not uniform. By the time I was able to see my hand, my finger nails looked like nubs. I wanted to cry. Too late to do anything. I am giving it 2 stars because the pedicurists are fantastic. However - I'm done. Sorry to say, but they don't value loyal customers. There are plenty of nail salons in town to choose from. After many years of frequenting Grace Honey, and spending lots of money there, including asking family to purchase gift certificates, I had my last visit. I came into the salon for the pretty religious bi-weekly gel mani, pedicure and wax. I arrived on a weekday shortly after opening ,with only a few other customers (maybe 3.) I had my pedicure performed first then was brought to the dryers for about 5 minutes, before being taken for my eyebrow wax. While being waxed, I was asked if I could come back later for my gel manicure because there was a mix up with the schedule, and someone waiting "had to go to work." I was slightly put off, as I too had work and had also been there for over an hour already. Apparently there were not enough manicurists to complete the gel manicures. I mentioned that I could not come back, but if it was possible to have a "regular" manicure (even though I do not like these as they don't last on my nails, but I was desperate.) Once my wax was finished, I sat down and the manicurist began. Before polishing, she asked me to pay. The woman who seemed to be in charge (I believe her name is Stella) told her to charge me for a pedicure (check), wax (check), soak off of gel (no - I had removed previously to my visit) and a regular manicure. I was taken aback that she would charge me 5 dollars for a soak off, despite it being their lack of service they could not complete my gel manicure. It seems insignificant - I mean 5 dollars? - but after spending literally thousands of dollars here over many years (like 7 years), I was floored. I made the decision right then and there to pay for my services received and never return. Treating a loyal customer like this is not okay, and there are numerous other nail salons in Rutherford where I'll be spending my future money. It's a shame because there are some very nice people that work there. read more

I've been coming here for a couple years, but the last view times I've been to get my gel mani and pedi I've very disappointed. The owners are great but my husband stopped coming because always made him feel very uncomfortable. I'm starting to doubt my loyalty to this nail salon not only is it a bit a drive but it's a bit expensive especially if you have to get a pedi and gel mani every week. The ladies that do the pedi don't even bother taking there time to provide a good pumice scrub even after paying extra for the callus peel my feet don't feel soft or even look like I had a pedi. The polish job lately has been horrible. Pretty much my 6yr does a better job soon after I came home from the salon the paint on my toes were bubbling from using old or if not thinned top coat. Which now after paying $60 worth of regular pedi I have to go else where to get them looking like I actually went to get them done. When I was there, I was given a pair of flip flops during my pedicure but I think they reuse flip flops because they asked me to leave them there, meaning they reuse their tools. I got the SNS dip powder with an extension. The lady doing my nails barely knew what she was doing and added extra glue ON TOP of the base coat for no reason. She didn't cut my cuticles and didn't put lotion on my hands afterwards. The shape was uneven and the powder wasn't applied fully onto my thumb. I do not think I will be returning. read more

This was a nice salon full of lovely and friendly workers. It was a great atmosphere. However, I went there for a sns dip powder manicure and they just didn't do a great job. Perhaps they don't have enough experience doing this type of manicure and need more practice. Some of my nails are not smooth and my nails underneath for filed down so much my fingers are sore. This was the worst nail salon I've ever been to in my life! Me and my friend went in for gel nail polish and both of our nails were done about a week later I started to get a very big red puffy infection on my nail and went to the doctor and they told me that it was from dirty utensils also my nail polish had already been chipping and hers came off as well. We called and they said come in for a touchup but by that time my finger had been so swollen it was my second time on antibiotics within that month. It only took a week later for the er visit just found out it had turned into an abscess. It has been two months now and my finger is finally gone down with some heavy antibiotics but I would not recommend this place to anyone. I filed a complaint and when the guy went in to check them out he also found out there was a lady that was not certified that was working there. I haven't followed up but I'm sure she was asked to leave. This place is dirty and every time I walk by and I see someone going and I always mention what happen!!! This place is terrible read more

Literally looked like a child did my French pedi. Only got clear on the mani but cuticles and filing of my nail were terrible. Had to get both redone four days later at another place. read more

This was the only salon I absolutely LOVED the results and does the job the way I want it. I have tried almost everything on the menu and never had an issue with their services. The employees are extremely friendly and the manager is the sweetest lady you'll encounter. On holidays like Mother's Day, or Christmas , or any special events, grace homey spa gives out free gifts to every client and occasionally give out free services. The employees remember all the consistent customers & try their best to spread a positive energy no matter how tired their day was. The manager buys food for all her workers and even offers their customers food during their lunch breaks. They are the most kind hearted down to earth people and you will NOT be disappointed with your results. Definitely my permanent salon. read more

Awful place! I went to this salon today 06/30/2014. I never wrote any negative review ever but I am feeling so frustrated after being to this crapy place. I don't even want to give this place 1 star. I entered in the salon and asked to get my colour gel mani and pedicure. They were busy they asked me too wait for 30 min and then the Chinese girl started with my pedicure. She did it in 5 min and that was the time I get frustrated as other staff girls were still taking enough time to do it. During the pedicure I asked her that I want the same colour for my hands and toes nails. She didn't td that time the same Colour is not available in colour gel for my hands. After doing my pedicure she showed me the samples of gel colour. There were no colour going with my colour on the toes. But still I pick one and when she put one cote on my nails. I told her this is too dull and i am not at all liking. She replied rudely and said " now you want me too put another colour" . Inspite of being nice,she started talking about me too other staff members in their own language and starred laughing. This place is full of local Chinese girls who don't actually know how to do their job and how to respect the customer. Awful awful place, never ever seen and will not refer anyone to visit to this place. We get our mani and pedi to feel nice and good. My hands are having a dull invisible colour gel and don't even want to look at my hands polish. Specifically I asked her name during payment.
