Didn't clean under my nails I could not get back right a way due to a family medical issue so when I went back all they did was offered me was $10 off they would not redo my nails as a courtesy They were all different sizes nor filled in completely all gaps! I have been coming here for my fill ins and pedicures for a few years. I don't get what the negative reviews are about. The receptionists are lovely (of course I am always nice to them), the techs are fast, friendly, professional and skilled. I don't know about you, but I appreciate a quick fill in appointment. The pedicures are wonderful and always come out great. Spa is clean and updated and always busy! I almost never leave negative reviews, but this place truly deserves it 100%. The receptionist is unbelievably rude and unprofessional. The nail techs are always rushing, never paying attention to what you actually want, it's clear their only goal is to finish and move on. On top of that, they keep whispering and talking to each other in their language while working, completely ignoring the client, it's unprofessional and super annoying. Today was the final straw. I booked a 6:00 appointment and drove all the way from my work in NY. Out of courtesy, I called to let them know I'd be about 15 minutes late due to traffic. At first she said okay, then called me back to tell me they would cancel my appointment unless I rescheduled for tomorrow, even though I told her I was literally 5 minutes away on that call. No consideration whatsoever for my time. And they close at 8 and accept walk ins, so they had no excuse to cancel on me. I've been a customer for a year now, giving them chance after chance, and this is how they deal with loyal clients. Every visit has been a waste of time and money. I gave them multiple chances simply because they're close to my home, but every time there was a problem: nails lifting within days, sloppy filing, and overall poor hygiene. I should have never wasted my time or money here to begin with. I've frequent this establishment a few times but today the service from the hostess and tech was disappointing. I came here with a friend for a regular pedicure and I was also anticipating a powder nail polish/ manicure. I got the pedicure. Please look at this pedicure. I would've did a better job. I was still optimistic about my manicure/ powder service. The conclusion is that the hostess started taking other clients walking in after me. At that point I politely told the hostes I was disregarded and I wanted to pay for the one service I got. I've been to this salon on and off for the past 3 years or so. It's a bit more expensive than the salon I visit in Irvington, but I think the service and the ambiance here at Top Style is very good. I came in yesterday (15Dec2023) and requested a gel pedicure and gel-x mani. We started with the pedicure with a 2 minute wait, and ended up getting the pedicure that is one tier above the basic "dream pedicure" the technician was very diligent and gentle with my feet and painted them very well. I then went to the manicure station and the same technician began to prep my nails for a gel manicure instead of gel-x extensions. I decided to go with the regular gel manicure and to let my nails grow out, so there was no issue. I chose a very light pink color, and the tech did a great job at making sure the gel polish was even and not messy around the edges. I'll update my review if any chipping comes before the 14 days. read more

From out of town so can't tell you where else to go but...don't go here if you can avoid it. There MUST be better places with more reasonable prices in the area. At home I pay $32-40 for a gel manicure and it was about that much here but the quality and my experience sucked. When I got there for an appt I was working on picking a color for less than ten seconds (not kidding!!!) when the nail tech came and tried to urge me over to the station. I tried to explain in many different ways that I hadn't chosen a color yet, not ready, one minute please, etc. She stood there awkwardly as I tried to hurry up and pick. Pedicure was fine. SO OVERPRICED it was like maybe $65 for a regular gel pedicure. Average quality and honestly I don't get pedicures often... just before a beach vacation for example as my feet aren't typically problematic for dry skin or calluses. It was a soak, very fast scrub and polish. I should start a pedicure business with those prices. It was robbery for like zero work. However I feel that about pretty much all pedicure services everywhere. They had other tiers of pedicure which went up to like $73 (I picked the $48 one I think it was) that included 20 mins of massage (mine had 10 min). Manicure was frustrating. I usually cut my own nails before all manicures because I like my nails SHORT so when it grows out it's still an acceptable length for me as I hate long nails. The most frustrating this was when my thumb nail was oblong (uneven amount of white nail showing) and I kept having to point it out. She kept filing it down but it was still a funny shape. I gave up. She didn't get paint the edge of the nail so this is going to chip really soon. I also felt she could have cut more cuticle off, I'm pulling off hang nails as I type. The tech filed so much of my nail the edges are ragged and also not painted. It looks like a second grader shaped my nails. Good thing is the polish is pretty close to the cuticle so I'm going to count my blessings. This was like $40-45. They have someone going around doing ten min massages for $15 and that's what made this tolerable honestly because I was so frustrated with my nails that having someone dig into my trapezius muscles was the only thing before a 4-5 hour drive home that I could justify paying for. But, the place was clean so I guess that's a plus. Had a bathroom. But yeah, won't be back. This was among the worst manis I've had. read more

I've been here more than a handful of times and given it a fair share and it just continues to get worse. I don't know what they do to their gel polish, but IT DOES NOT LAST. I spent $$$ on a gel polish and literally 24 hours later two nails have already chipped. Gel should last at least three weeks without issue. Not to mention the white color wasn't put on thick enough to give an even opaque coat. I've gotten dip powder a few times too. The first time they didn't even file the nail down enough so it looked very thick and raised. Overall, I think people like this place because it's big and has many manicure and pedicure chairs. But the service is NOT WORTH IT. I won't be making the mistake of coming here again. Updated to add two pictures. This is only 3 days into the manicure and the polish just starts to lift and peel off and get caught in everything. It's like they used the wrong base coat. Horrible horrible horrible. There's a 10 day guarantee where you can come back to get it fixed but I'm on vacation and won't make it back on time. Regardless, that's for a chip here or there. Not for needing an entirely new manicure!! Would give zero stars if I could. read more

This place is usually super crowded atleast used to during non covid times and I visited top style nails spa during covid and they have taken necessary precautions as can be seen from the pictures uploaded. I used to love this nail salon and used to be a regular here a year back but it used to be super crowded then and they would never have appointment slots available. The reason for my poor rating is because of their normal mani-pedi services and quality of the nail paint. If I want to get gel nails or powder gel then I would definitely come to this place as it's the best in the area and they have a lot of different color options to choose from. But for a normal mani-pedi , their nail paint doesn't last at all, my nail paint chipped the moment I entered my car after the treatment. For simple mani-pedi they are quite expensive. Although if you decide to still visit them then make sure you pay with cash as they have 5% cash back program and you get that money back next time you visit the salon! read more

First visit to this location. The space looks clean and new. It was bright with high ceilings. Located in a shopping center with lots of parking. Tiffany did my nails. She did a fairly good job. I used to go to Tiffany back when she worked at a nail salon in Coney Island Brooklyn. I followed her here to this new location. Was surprised to find that they charge $5 extra to get a coffin shape which I've never seen anywhere else. Tips and powder dip $40. Coffin shape. $5. Total $45. 6% discount if you pay in cash. My wife had her nails done here and clearly they didn't know what they were doing. The gels didn't last 5 days before beginning to fall off. She went back to get them redone and the girl working was clearly upset that she had to do them again and began ripping them off my wife's nails without soaking them. She told her to stop as it was obviously hurting her and she proceeded to rip them off damaging all her nails. She walked out as that is abuse and no proper nail salon would do such a thing without soaking the nails first. My wife was nothing but kind to them. DO NO TAKE YOUR ANGER OUT ON CUSTOMERS.
