The aestheticians are good, but the owner and her policies are awful. Pray that nothing and I mean nothing happens to you and you arrive more than 5 minutes late or have to cancel your appointment because they will charge you no matter what. My doctors who are highly educated (and of course have spent a fortune in their education) are more flexible and understanding that this woman who probably thinks she is God's representative on earth. I have been a customer here for many many many years I have been pleased with the service all though they have a high turnover (the girls talk as to why but that's another issue entirely). I have never so much as been late once in that time. One time my car will not start in the morning. I cannot make my appointment. They charge me full price for my appointment with absolutely no leeway I refused this charge so they will no longer accept appointments from me. Keep in mind that they will cancel on you Same day often. They have aggressive texts reminding you of said cancellation policy that are phrased in such a way they are offensive. When you email the owner Erica do not expect a response because you won't get one. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. The owner practices bad business. This is coming from someone who works in a field that is appointment based also when clients don't come I don't get paid and I cut my clients breaks all the time when they are good clients BECAUSE ITS GOOD BUSINESS! I've been coming here for a while and usually had my waxes done by Jenitza, but recently I booked with a newer waxer since she no longer works here. The new waxer was very kind, but she mentioned she's only been working for a few months, and unfortunately, the service reflected that. The wax kept getting stuck, which made this one of the most painful experiences I've had here. I understand that everyone is new at some point, and I was patient, but I don't feel like the service was worth the full price. I know you offer discounts in the beginning of the months of when new waxers join, but I think it would make sense to extend those discounts longer, since beginners are still learning and mistakes can happen. Overall, I feel like the quality has gone down compared to when I first started coming here, which is disappointing. I loved it here butt I will be choosing another girl and I hope I can still enjoy it next time I book an appointment. Also the owner doesn't seem pleasant just by reading her responses to bad reviews. They're clearly there for a reason. I had my first wax at the peach bar the other day. After arriving I was sitting in a very spacious waiting room. The receptionist checked me in quickly. I got there early as I got a text from them stating construction on route 46- so I left a little extra early. I got a Brazilian and Kim was my esthetician. She made me feel comfortable as I told her it was my first time here. Everything is very clean - masks are enforced and everything is cleaned . I felt very safe here. They use hard wax and it's basically pain free. The only thing that confused me was booking online with a credit card and then having to show it again there. The peach bar is the place to go. My first impression when coming in was "wow" love the aesthetics as they have the place very well decorated and it smelled fantastic! As you walk in, you have to go up a set of carpeted stairs and going up the stairs you read a bunch of quotes which are super motivational. The place smells so good and it is sparkly clean which is key for me. I had a Brazilian wax done for the first time. As my first time i was nervous before hand but once i was in, Alex made me feel super comfortable and explained everything to me. Since it was my first time she told me what to do and what not to do after my wax. Plus it didn't hurt as much as i though it was. Literally it was a breeze. My wife has been here on multiple occasions, and every time she's been there and asked for a specific wax they've managed to "forget" on three different instances. Asking for a landing strip and left completely bald are two different things and they've repeatedly made the mistake. Today when I went in with her and my daughter, the front desk lady refused to let my daughter and I wait in the waiting room, and forced us to wait outside in the cold. I'd understand if the place was busy but it was completely empty, why have a waiting room if you're not allowed to wait in it! This place is honestly a disappointment and needs better management or someone else at front desk. Purchased a PFB for ingrowns and my dermatologist ended up prescribing something else for my sensitive skin. Didn't open or even touch the PFB product and needed to return it. Called and spoke to Gianna who was extremely rude and unsympathetic. They refuse to take the return- couldn't even offer some type of good will credit to offset the fact that I spent money on a product I can't use. buyer beware the owner and her managers are GREEDY they will milk you for every penny. I would not recommend this place. Danielle was nice, however she did not talk about aftercare instructions with me. I had told her that I was a first timer and instead of going over anything, I was handed a card with very minimal instructions. Also at the end of the wax, I was not given a chance to check it. By the time I got into my car, several sections of my leg was missed. Now fast forward three weeks, I have awful ingrown hairs on multiple spots on my legs. I just want to say that Jeanette is amazing and I absolutely love her because she makes me feel comfortable at my appointments with her, very social and super nice. She overall is amazing and 10/10. However, with the peach bar itself I've actually felt quite annoyed with them in the way they operate. I want to start off by saying that the cancellation policy should have more flexibility to it because this is the 2-3 third month in a row that they cancel my appointment because the waxer either quit, called out or whatever (this is outside of Jeanette because those times I booked with a different waxer because of her being booked so I would go with someone else). They give me the option to rebook with someone else but it's very frustrating when it's close to my appointment date and I pretty much have to either accept the cancellation or book with another waxer which is a complete BALL TOSS because you can get the next waxer available (who is either new or has not been there very long). For example, my recent wax appointment was cancelled and they called to cancel or rebook with someone else so at the time I didn't rebook because I didn't know my schedule. So I rebooked with another waxer when I went on the website and when I went to the appointment she burned me with the wax. Despite me letting her know the wax was HOT and she did my underarms first and despite me still letting her know after each strip she didn't even try to cool it down and you can only imagine how painful it is for the wax to hit the most sensitive areas of the Brazilian and my wax after had my area red, bumpy, and extremely sensitive and these are things that DO NOT happen with Jeanette. I was just overall annoyed about that. It's also the fact that they can call and cancel since the waxer for that appointment is not in today but god forbid I cancel because I am sick which has happened a couple months ago since I had COVID and was not about to pass that along to someone else and I spoke to the receptionist who made me jump through hoops to talk to the owner in order for me to have the money they charged me full service for despite me calling prior and advising I had COVID. When I spoke to the owner she was very reiterate about next time not moving over the full charge if I were to cancel again despite me never cancelling at all prior and I've been going to the peach bar for a little over 3 years. I was literally sick or else I would've gone but when the receptionist calls to cancel my appointment due to whatever reason with the waxer I pretty much have to deal with it. I understand policy is policy TRUST ME. HOWEVER, the policy is only effective when the service is consistent and not disruptive. The waxers there are never consistent and come and go so that tells me that either the pay is low or the rules of the facility are not employee friendly enough to stay, I don't know. Overall, wanted to express my frustration because as much as the location is convenient for me and I currently love the waxed I usually book with, i will not be returning. I also had my friend put my name in the referral section prior to her first wax and I asked if there is a discount in place for the referral and the receptionist said I needed some card however, I don't see the difference since she put my name on the intake form she did. It doesn't make sense, but neither does the operations in this facility. read more

People people people my goodness do I LOVE this place. I love the girls that work there. Their prices are amazing and I have seen a difference in my hair not growing as quick as it use to. To be transparent I have PCOS therefore I have A LOT of body hair and I've never felt uncomfortable about it. They have a nice reward system too. You get a discount when your birthday comes up. The wax does not hurt at all. I've went to European Wax Center before this place and that was a terrible experience. I have never been burned here or had any skin be ripped off of me when I switch to the Peach Bar. This is a great place and I recommended everyone to try it out! read more

I tried the peach bar because it was recommended to me by many of my friends. The place is super cute and I'd say the prices were def the best. I was used to paying 60 at EWC, here I paid less than half that price. I waxed with Katelyn she was really nice and talks to you the entire time so you feel very comfortable. However while waxing it was freezing cold which made the wax feel like it was burning hot making it sting. Overall Katelyn did a great job with the wax but didn't clean it entirely did leave some wax on the area. Also, i don't like that they don't put a cooling serum on afterwards because I feel like that really helps after my usual waxes. But all in all it wasn't a bad experience everyone was nice and like I said the prices are amazing. read more

I was stoked about checking them out since they have so many good reviews, but honestly I wasn't impressed. Location is ok looks a little runned down, could use some tlc. Stairs are dirty and some areas on the walls specifically the corners were dirty. That was a huge turn off for me. Make sure you pay attention to the road, the entrance of this place is a little tricky. You can easily pass it if you're not driving at a slow speed. Dianny was a sweetheart! She talked me through the entire bikini wax, as it was my first time. The receptionist who signs you in did not have a welcoming vibe. Granted I had a 9am appointment so maybe she was sleepy? The whole minute I interacted with her she looked like she didn't want to be bothered. Then, when I asked her about my payment option she was like "just talk to her to pay" (with an ugly attitude). That threw me off. Like sis, you can catch more flies with a drop of honey. Respectfully. I was happy about their Covid restrictions. Been going here since January for my Brazilians after not getting them done at EWC (because their prices had gone up from $42 to almost $60) for over 5 years. I went to Erica first when she had her spot in Nutley and it was a great first time experience with a Brazilian! She made me feel comfortable and always making fun conversations! She then opened up her cute waxing center on Van Houten Ave in Clifton to where I was going to Priscilla as well! Priscilla is so funny and down to Earth and was a pleasure going to her as well! When the Peach Bar opened up their newest location on route 46 in Clifton (which is beyond beautiful for words!) I also started going to Katelyn! She really knows what she's doing and she gets the job done! I also love how funny she is on the gram! I recently went to Jackie and she was always making conversations so that I wouldn't be thinking about the pain! I was never a fan of Brazilians because of how painful they are. But I started going to Erica in August 2019 and although it was painful in the beginning it did get better. Erica has a unique technique & the wax that she uses is so much better for your skin. I love how comfortable she makes me feel. Thanks to her, I will never go back to shaving. I have been coming to see Erica since April 2018, she came highly recommended by a friend. Her shop is located in the back of a hair salon in Nutley. There's plenty of street parking available nearby. Since April, Erica has performed a variety of services for me (Brazilian, vajacial, full leg wax, underarm wax, full face wax, brow shaping, you name it) and I can say that I have left 100% satisfied every single time. You can't beat the quality and efficiency. Or her prices, for that matter. She is also easy to reach and gets back to you in a reasonable amount of time. She is a true professional that is dedicated to her craft. You can tell she really cares about what she does. Have been a customer here for a few years now. Had an appointment for a full face wax, the day before they send a link to go on to fill out forms, which I had just filled out the last time I was there, and the link did not work. 7:00pm that night I get a notification that my appointment had been cancelled because the forms were not filled out. Tried to book another appointment for the same time, 9:00am, said it was under review and I would get a confirmation. Did not receive the confirmation until the next morning at 8:35am, you have to arrive at your appointment at least 7 minutes prior to appointment time or the appointment is cancelled, needless to say I did not have enough time to make it there so I called right away. Got the voicemail of course because it was before they open, someone called me back and said they could change my appointment for a $10 fee. I could not make it at the time they had the next available appointment so they charged my card the amount of the service. I emailed the owner and needless to say, she was no help. I did NOT just not show up for my appointment it was cancelled by them. Poor customer service, bad business etiquette would not recommend and will not go back! read more

I used to go here constantly for about a year or so. It's a really nice place and it's clean as well. The staff is friendly and the waxers get you in and out in 15 minutes (for a Brazilian). So you would think that this would earn them a 5 stars but I noticed a change in my skin about 3 months ago. I was getting way more ingrown hairs than usual. I thought it was me and my skin care routine so I did everything I was supposed to, exfoliate (but not over do it) with their dry brush method, moisturize with a non fragranced lotion that I knew wouldn't irritate my skin but over time it just kept getting worse. I figured the wax just doesn't agree with my sKin because they've changed it over time so I stopped going and began sugaring which I 10/10 recommend, absolutely no ingrowns. Now I have other girlfriends tell me too that they are getting much more ingrowns than usual as well so it's not just me. So if you wanna give this place a try I won't deter you, but just be cautious or maybe they should change up their wax. Edit: For clarification my last appointment here was in December 13th 2019. I had an appointment in January as the owner pointed out but I cancelled because I did not want to go back. At the end of January after my skin healed, I tried sugaring as a waxing option as I had read it is less irritating and have had no ingrowns or irritation from then to now and it has been two weeks. read more

I was 1 min past their 7 min grace period for my 1 hr appt of the perfect peach. They wanted to charge me 50% of the $70 appt i had scheduled as a no show although I was standing in front of them. They said they could do a brazillian only. Except to do so they charge me the full price of a brazilian $28 plus the $35 (50% no show of perfect peach $70). I told them that's ridiculous and they offered to only charge me 50% of the $35 so $17.50 plus the full price of brazillian $28. So lets get this straight: no show $35 show up do brazillian only + no show fee its $63 if you complain that its insane then they offer $45.50 (brazillian + half of the no show fee) Even doctors offices have a 15 minute grace period for being late. I understand I was late but even when they called me as i drove i said i had to hang up because i needed the GPS as its my first time and i was a bit lost but was 2 mins away. Luciana and the tech were understanding and explained the best they could on the regulations. However the other front desk girl was extremely rude. Has no customer service/people skills what so ever. I left paid the $35 no show fee and am never coming back. I understand having regulations but this above is pure robbery. read more
