If you're looking for something fancy do not come here. I asked for an ombré with gel. They told me I need dip cause it's easier so I said fine but it's double the price, so I was expecting it to look exactly like the picture I provided. I picked a dark grey blue color and idk if they just chose the wrong color or what, but my nails ended up a grey purple and the bottom part that's supposed to be dark, was sheer. I told the guy he needed to add another coat cause you can see the my nail through the dark part and he just said no. The fade is very bad as well. They also added a rhinestone but it's off centered. I was really hoping to like this place as I have been having difficulty find the right place. I went for a uv gel with color gel manicure and pedicure. At first glance, the is very dated, which makes it look filthy but definitely could use a good dusting. The pedi is great with a free callous remover, the gel manicure started out ok until the manicurist decided to remove my cuticles, which I truly appreciate, however, not the deep cut to my finger. It took 30 minutes for the bleeding to stop even after the manicurist (assuming owner) put a band aid on. She was constantly distracted with the phones ringing and other clients coming and speak with the other employees. As she used the drill she cut 3 more times on different fingers. I don't understand the busy activity here or the great reviews. It just may be the reasonable prices. Needless to say that I won't return. read more

UPDATE: since this morning... another nail broke... awesome. Waste of $55 Original post: Went here for the first time yesterday because it was conveniently open on Sundays. Read some reviews before coming and felt okay probably not bad. They took me in right away and the woman was very sweet and a man did my nails. I had a full set from my previous place and specifically asked if it's possible to do a fill in. They said yes no problem and I specifically said, If it'll be better if I take all the nails off, I will pay extra to take them off and do a full new set. They said no problem we will do a fill in. Okay. Cool.. now he started my nails and realized I had tips on which is what I told them at first and I said listen if it's gonna be a problem take them off and do a full new said. He said no problem. I said ok fine let me trust him he's the professional. So he filed my nails and started to cut them with a regular nail cutter. Mind you, my nails are long and tips are very hard. So he cuts them and basically breaks 75% of them. I say again.. if it's better to take them off then take them off. He still says no. He puts UV gel to extend the broken nails and I said... İsn't that gonna break?? He says no they're very strong and it won't break. (fyi, it's been less than 24 hours and one of the nails he extended with the UV gel already broke... See picture I posted.) So I'm still there it's been 2 hours already, he shaped them really nicely.. and to the length that I wanted. He cut my cuticle but that always happens to me so I'm not complaining about that at all. Then he starts to paint my nails... Lol So, I'm getting gel nail polish... He didn't put a base coat which I'm normally used to... and He uses such little nail polish that a darker pink color you can see through the tip of my nail in the light. I've never seen someone use such little nail polish in my life. I also told him there's a dent on one of my nails from the UV and he just put another layer of nail polish on it but didn't realize it's a dent not a streak. Anyway. The staff is super nice and all but they need to: 1. Get a new nail cutter for curved nails (only $5 at Walgreens). 2. Use more nail polish to avoid transparency and streaking. This is my 2nd time visiting this salon,... My mom, sister & brothers fiancé come here too,... The 1st time I came was about 6 months ago for a regular pedicure which was fantastic & for $18.00 you get an awesome massage with hot stones & callus remover etc. all included,... Yesterday Veronica did my pedicure & it was awesome! I did a French Gel Pedicure for $37.00 for the 1st time ever & I absolutely loved it,...! Plus they were very reasonably priced & you get all the percs of the regular pedicure & with the gel there's no drying time! My regular salon in Belleville charges $40 for this pedicure & they don't do the callus remover or the hot stone massage,... The inside of the salon is a 'lil dingy' like I've read on other reviews here but overall they do great work. I'll def be a repeat customer! read more

If you like a no frills salon, you should go here. The place isn't too big, with 5 pedicure chairs. When I walked in for a mani, 2 women looked at each other as if neither of them wanted to help me. I was seated at a table with a bag of donuts on it (eww, not impressed already), and a man proceeded with my mani. Another issue I had here was, he didn't put down a paper towel on the table under my hands to catch the nail clippings. I asked to have my nails cut, and he did a good job. But now that I'm home I can notice that the corners of my nails are a bit sharp. He applied oil to cuticles on one hand but I guess he forgot or was rushing so much that he neglected my other hand. When he rushed through putting lotion on, it felt like literally 10 seconds per hand! I've never had a mani feel this rushed! Slightly pricey for ok work. I did like the pedicure ($20) regular polish. They did a lot of scrubbing, massages, etc. more than what other places do. The powder manicure ($30) a bit disappointing. Had a few cuts and scrapes I noticed as I felt the sting of the nail cleaner on all the fingers and the tip of a very short nail. Some nails have perfect shape others seem to bubble/round weird not like a normal nail shape. It's ok for last min. I'll have to try out their gel and regular and see if it's better work. read more

Ok so I decided to give this place a try, because it's right by my job LITERALLY and my neighbors go there and said it was decent .. ALSO Spa one, where I normally go is SUPER expensive.. At first look it really doesn't look clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eye... I'm not bougie (WHO AM I KIDDING, YES I AM :)).. I went in on a Friday holiday weekend !! They took me right away.. The polish color selection was a little lack luster and looked pretty old, but since I was getting a French gel Mani and regular pedicure it didn't really bother me... The pedi was really well done and as per my last Spa experience you know .. I REALLY LIKE MY CUTICLES TAKEN CARE OF she did a great job of that , they also include callous removal in the price of the regular pedicure!!!! My Gel French mani came out beautifully and again she really got all the cuticles.. I was very pleased, I scheduled my follow up appointment 40$ saved... My old salon just wasn't giving me the A+ treatment. I wanted a change. Based on the positive feedback here on Yelp I took a chance. I walked in and was greeted by a man and a woman. Both welcoming me in the salon with a warm Hello. I was there for a manicure & pedicure and was placed immediately in the large comfy massage chair. The young man started to draw the foot water, surprised that he was indeed giving me the pedicure. But OK, I'm game. Ladies, let me tell you... not only was his touch gentle, but this was by far THE BEST pedicure I have had in my life. After soaking in the warm bath, and trimming the nails and cuticle, He wrapped my feet in saran wrap with a lotion and then gently but firmly massaged and used an exfoliate scrub on my legs and feet, along with a deep tissue massage and hot stones! (this is all included in a regular pedicure) So impressed I then was switched over to the chair where the young lady gave me my manicure. There was no skimping here either. Constantly checking my nails to make sure they were all even. Again a warm hand and arm massage, and after polish a neck and shoulder massage. All of this was just $27 Then I was handed a card, after 9 manicures the 10th is free. I will continue to go to this Salon. Great service, friendly staff, very clean, and very affordable. read more

This place is right across the street from my apartment so it's so convenient and I'm glad. I've been here 3 times; twice for mani/pedi $25. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I didn't like my mani as much and the nail polish did not last as long as I expected. But I would give 10 stars for the pedicure if I could. Luckily 2 out of the 3 times I went there it was empty so the older gentleman spent a great deal on me. And the massage was just heavenly. I just felt SO relaxed at the end of it! I just wished he would cut my toe nails shorter; I hate having long toe nails and mine grow unbelievably fast. On a side note, it was kinda weird at first cuz he reminded me of my dad but my dad would NEVER give me a pedicure. I live in the area and have been looking for a new salon so based off the reviews, I decided to check it out The pedicure is AMAZING!! The callous remover did a good job, got a leg scrub and a hot stone massage...all for $18!! The manicure I wasn't as impressed with. The acrylic application was sloppy and wasn't very efficient with the filing but as long as you speak up and say what you prefer, it's fine. The people are very friendly and nice and even give you a little massage after you're done. I'll definitely come back. Tried this salon for the first time yesterday and so glad I did. I was so tired of trying to explain how I like my acrylic nails to the overpriced salons in the Nutley/Lyndhurst area. The pedicure was AMAZING. This was the regular pedicure and it felt like a spa pedicure. I can't wait to go back for my next pedi. Very relaxing. The girl that ended up doing my acrylic new set listened to what I wanted. This is a big deal for me because I am very particular about how I like my nails. I naturally have a wider nail bed and I don't like my nails to look chunky or thick. She took her time and did a great job. I would recommend you go when you have the time for a full set or fill in. I was pleased with Veronica's attention to detail while my mom was taken of by Angie who also did well. Love this place! Its in a good area. The place is clean, quiet and relaxing. I had a fill in done with gel polish which came out to $35 and i was very pleased with the price . It only took an hour (as opposed to another nail salons i been to in jersey where they overbook and take 2-3 hours or more) I'm very happy with the way my nails came out. I also love how the lady gave me a back massage while my nails were drying and put lotion and massaged my hands once i was done , giving me a little bit of that "spa experience". To start, the place itself is just dirty. Nothing looks clean, nor sanitized. I came here last minute due to my normal salon being closed on Sundays. They close at 6 and I came in at 5:06. I walked in and they just asked me what I would like done. I asked for a gel manicure and pedicure. The pedicure started okay, the girl was sweet. The one older women kept asking me what color, but I just sat down. The girl did a good job with the massage, oil, and hot stone. She painted my nails, but I did not end up liking the color. I politely asked if I could change the color, but since it was close to 6 pm, on the of coworkers yelled at the girl to, verbatim, "put a layer on top". So she waited a minute for the last color to dry, and she added the new color I wanted LITERALLY RIGHT ON TOP OF THE PREVIOUS COLOR ON MY NAILS. I was in disbelief. SO BACKGROUND STORY: my nails were a disaster due to my lack of maintenance (& having time) of getting a "supreme gel" from my normal salon - which is a thin layer of acrylic shaved down and polished, then with a layer of gel polish on top. So they put the liquid remover on my nails and added tin foil (the normal). When the one guy did my nails, they failed to use any actually machines to completely file down/take off ANY remains on my nails. I figured he was going to do it at one point. I asked my nails to be all the same size since they were just in shambles. Completely ignored my request, I had to be persistent and ask the second time. The guy got up and made it blatantly clear he was talking about me to another employee in a different language. He did it, and proceeded to finish my nails. The original color I chose, and excited for, was dried out completely and they told me I can't use it - too find a new color (even though my toe nails are painted the original color I wanted). Already feeling rushed, I just picked a random coral-ish color to not make a fuss. When all was done, I realized I can see the remains of my acrylics still on my nails and just painted over. They made me feel uncomfortable and rushed. I hated this place and I will not come back. The total for both services was 43 dollars. I tipped both workers 7 dollars because I felt bad for being so particular, even after they made me feel weird and felt that I was being being talked about. Due to being in a rush, I didn't realize how bad all of this was until I got finally home and packed - 2 hours later. I'm very upset and I'm not someone who goes out their way to post poorly about a business. I will not be back. read more

ONLY useful for emergencies! I visited here today because my office relocated to this town and I read some positive reviews. After getting a gel manicure and a pedicure- I can honestly say I will NOT be back. This place is outdated, not so clean, and just quite frankly not good service. My gel manicure probably could've been done at home by myself had I had the supplies (no seriously). My toe nails are crooked, and they filed the bottom of my feet with a metal brush, and now it feels rough and jagged. Maybe this is acceptable for this area, however it is not for me. I'm not from the area but happened to be around for a dr appointment and stopped in. I was in desperate need of mani+pedi. Their pedi was awesome, the gentleman (older) worked on me and used honey for my legs, lemon for my feet and wrapped them in plastic then scrubbed my legs with a nice sugar scrub and then finished with an oil massage, warm towel and then foot massages and warm wax for the heels. For my hands I got French manicure. All this for $32...Amazing!!!! I work in the city and pay more for much less. After today's experience I will be back even if i have to drive 20 mins. read more

This is my third time coming to this salon and each time I have been wow'd! You come in and its a no frills salon, pedi chairs down one side and mani chairs down the other. I always get pedis when I come and each time they've came out perfect and lasted extremely long without chipping. The best part is the price - $18 for a pedi! They use a scrub on your legs, followed by a hot stone massage. They also use wax on your heels while they paint your toes. I've never seen that anywhere else under $25. So I called on a Wednesday morning at 9:50 and asked if I needed to make an appointment for a regular mani pedi and she said yeah so I asked if I could come in now she said yeah so I came and there was one lady drying her nails and another doing a pedi and that was it. Whatever. So I picked my colors and they have a lot of Essie and OPI polishes. So they seated me and started me pedi. It was amazing. Their callus removal is free! I needed that! Lol. Anyways when it came time to my mani the only thing that upset me and is kinda important is she used very little nail polish. It's a light pink but she could've put 3 coats or regular 2 coats and it would've been perfect but she stuck to 2 thin coats and it just does not look as good as my feet. I normally love this place, but they really let me down today. They advertise that they're open to 6, but that isn't true. It's only open to six if they aren't full. If you happen to walk in the door at say 5, like I did today and they can estimate that you're manicure will take them an extra fifteen minutes past 6 to finish..they'll send you packing. They did this with me today. Too bad, because I've always enjoyed getting my nails done here. I won't be coming back, because they aren't client focused. Nails turned out fine. No communication as to wait time when you get there, be prepared to wait for a while to actually get started even if they seat you at a station immediately. Pretty sure I watched a few technicians in the mirror go in the waxing room and rebag their manicure tools in the sanitation bags to use again after only rinsing them in the sink. I started going to this place as it's closer to my home. The guy (who I believe is a co-owner) does an excellent job on my gel pink and whites. He makes them very thin (as I request) and he does it pretty quickly. The salon is nothing fancy, but I go there for the great prices and the fantastic job that they do. I personally have not had a pedicure here yet, but I've taken my husband and he thinks it's the best pedicure he's ever had. He loves that they put the wax on his heels. (Yes, a lot of places do this now, but he says that the whole pedicure is amazing.) Another nice touch is that if you're getting a manicure/gel/something on your nails, when you're sitting under the dryer, they come and massage your back/neck for a few minutes. It's really a nice touch that I appreciate. Side notes: There is street parking. We've never had an issue finding parking. They take credit cards. I don't know what else you could ask for. read more
