I had longer almond shaped to start, I asked for them to be cut down and pointed. Some are flat on top. Every nail is lumpy because of the way she applied the polish. I am so disappointed. Went in for a pedicure and requested the green tea pedicure which costs $60. The water wasn't warm. The girl doing the pedicure was in a rush. The massage was around 5-8 minutes. Came here for a quick polish change and cuticle removal on my toes. The space itself is really nice and inviting. It's a lovely setup and the interior is gorgeous. Parking is super easy too. The nail techs that did my pedicure and my friends were good. I had called and asked how much my polish change would be and a man on the phone quoted me $10. When it came time to pay the woman who was there charged me $15. I didn't make a big deal about it because the girl did do a good job but the lady in charge seems a little rude. I absolutely love this place. The staff is so sweet and friendly and they do such an amazing job. We came in for manicures and pedicures. Pedicure: Great chairs. Extremely clean. They line the tubs and use sanitized tools. I had a basic pedicure which only cost $25 and it included a hot oil soak of my heels and a brief hot stone massage on my legs. Manicure: they have incredible tables with fans and UV lights built in! My technician did an amazing job. A gel manicure cost $35. Both services took less than an hour and a half. First time I went, my gel nails chipped within 6 days so I went back today to give it a fair chance. WHAT A DISASTER!!! My pedicure lady ended up doing my gel and I can't wait to go somewhere else tomorrow and have them redone. 1- she clipped my cuticle/skin on 5 fingers!!! I bled on 5 different fingers - as if "OW ouch" twice didn't make her more careful?! 2- she filed my nails down so bad and they're completely bumpy 3- even worse, the base coat went over the filings and can completely be seen 4- the top coat was put right on my skin and lookss awful - and yes you can see the blood from the cuticle under top coat. DO NOT CONSIDER! I didn't even write about the terrible pedicure - 2 min massage for both legs total and cold stones instead of hot. NO WAY ever again !!! read more

I went to Largo House last Saturday with three of my friends. We were all getting gel manicures and weren't sure what to expect. We left extremely satisfied and were very impressed with how clean and efficient the salon was. Upon arrival, everyone had a temperature check. We immediately noticed there were dividers between every single nail station, and the place was spotless. You can tell they were rigorously cleaning everything. We all felt extremely comfortable. There were several gel nail polishes to choose from, and the nail ladies were excellent. They took their time, we washed our hands several times throughout and they used gloves - it was very pleasant. Our nails literally look perfect, and I could not be happier with my experience. Sara did my nails , lately I've noticed a huge change every time I went there which was every 2 weeks and spent tons of money I had to go back several times 3/4 days later to repair and the audacity is they charged me .. and they refuse to do extensions on toes after they have been doing them several times .. Sarah is an unbelievable talented nail technician and did an incredibly amazing job on my nails. I believe I have found my person, I will now go to no other. The salon itself is very modern and clean. I do have to say it's a little more on the pricey side, but it was worth every penny. The care and quality of Sarah's work was impeccable. I have explored several nail salons around Clifton, and I find this one becoming my favorite so far, finally found a nail salon to visit on a regular basis! I like the environment, very relaxing. The place is extremely clean and well mannered. Tools are always already cleaned and sterilized and well maintained. I received services for a pedicure and manicure here and they spend quite a bit of time making sure that everything is cleaned up. :) They are very thorough and make sure your nails look perfect. I am used to going to salons in NYC where there is a lot of turnover and far more rushed, here there is more personalized attention. Even though I am quite picky when it comes to my nails, i have to say they did an amazing job. very impressed with this salon! I highly recommend this place. came here with my sister to get two pedicures. we had a 330 appt on a sunday. when we walked in, I said to the owner that I wanted a gel pedicure. His reaction seemed so confused and frazzled that we thought they did not do gel pedicures. We waited about 10 minutes before being seated in pedicure seats together. I had to ask about 3 times for the gel color options before someone finally brought it over to my seat. the pedicure chairs have a little side flap table that is adjustable. i had my phone and my side bag on it and a number of times the employees would move my stuff and place it on my lap so that they could get past the chair. no excuse me or warning. the last time it happened, my finger got jammed when they were adjusting it the armrest. the pedicure itself was good- cuticle cut, exfoliating, oil massage, and hot stones at the end. I paid $55 which i think is pretty average. the place itself is nicely decorated and clean, including the tools used. the pedi was good but the atmosphere wasn't as inviting and the customer service was subpar. read more

Great place - best pedicure I have ever received and a meticulous French manicure. I opted for the spa pedicure and it was so worth it! The calf massage alone was heavenly!! So great for my winter boot feet The manicure was done well and she asked me as she was going if I liked everything (color of the pink, thickness of the white) and it was done perfectly Prices where a little bit more than your normal salon but it has a spa setting without the spa price so I loved it and you get what you pay for! I went in for a swedish massage i was gifted. They stuck me in some random chilly/uncomfortable room off the the side that looked cluttered like a catch all closet. A man masseuse worked on me. He gave me time to change, but disappeared for about 20 minutes. The bulk of the massage, was repetitive and painful and there was no use of oils until the very end. He was not professional and did not even seem trained. He also disappeared again for a second time in the midst of the massage. Upon leaving the male masseuse stood over me by the cashier until he received his tip. i will NEVER go back here. Please note i've had excellent massages here in the past. read more

I feel the need to write a review for Largo House & Spa given the two extremely negative reviews here. I have NEVER had a bad experience at Largo House, and it's the ONLY place I will go to for pedicures, manicures and waxing. I have been a loyal customer since the name changed to "Spa" and will continue to be for as long as I live in the area. Once the technicians and owners get to know you, they call you by name and tend to your specific needs. They learn what you like and don't like, and more importantly, who you like and don't like. You have to be willing to find a person that does what you want - and you have to stick with it. It's not enough to go one, two, three times and give up on this place. There are fantastic people that work there and I would be happy to recommend specific technicians. Speak up and tell the person working on you what you want done. Be specific. They will do what you ask. The equipment they use is always clean, and the tools are always opened up in front of you. They do not share tools with other clients. The place is quiet. The pedicures are fantastic - Try the Green Tea pedicure if you're feeling particularly indulgent. It's worth it and the extra massage. Waxing is fantastic. I take my daughter here and she's never afraid of it being painful. The prices are higher than most nail salons, but you're paying for cleanliness, individual tools, and a spa-like atmosphere. This is not the place to come if you want acrylics or something cheap and easy. You will pay more, but you will walk away having a nice experience and manicures and pedicures that last. read more

The only real reason I came here was because I had received a gift certificate for services. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure which I was sincerely less than impressed with. The pedicure was... awful. The gentleman doing it rushed through it, I think I timed it and he spent about 15-20 minutes in total (start to finish!) working on my feet? I barely got a massage and the hot stones were brief and unimpressive. It seemed like the man doing the pedicure was rushing just so he didn't have to work on any clients. When I got home I noticed that I still had multiple areas with dry skin on my feet. For $25 I expected a lot more, especially since my tried and true nail salon only charges $20 (and it's probably one of the best pedicures I've ever had). The gel manicure was underwhelming. I am usually very particular about my hands and cuticles so I push mine back while I'm at home, and I am so glad I did. The woman literally didn't do anything to my cuticles. The process was: File/Buff, paint, use cuticle clippers to make it look like they're doing something even though they're not, and a half-assed massage with lotion. My nails aren't filed evenly, I asked her to keep them square and she filed them squoval (it's a thing lol). The gel polish application was okay, some spots look thicker than others. The manicurist also didn't stay within the nail bed so I find my gels are extending over the sides near my skin. If you're looking for a place with quality work for honest prices, this isn't the place. I left feeling disappointed with how everything turned out, and I think if I didn't have a gift certificate and paid full price I would be a lot more upset. I would have given one star, but I gave an extra because my gift certificate was issued in 2014 and they still accepted it four years later, which I thought was very nice of them. TL;DR - Go somewhere else with your money. You'll feel rushed the whole time and leave disappointed. read more

This is my second time coming here for a pedicure and I had a good experience the first time around but a bit annoyed as I'm sitting here now - instead of enjoying my leg and foot massage I paid extra for I am writing a review (clearly not a good experience). I can understand and respect why someone would want to wear gloves when touching feet BUT if that's the case this is clearly not the job for you. All I feel are the plastic gloves that are too big on her hands and no sense of real massage. I should have stuck with the basic pedi and I would not have been as disappointed! Update: I think it is ridiculous to pay $40 plus for a spa pedicure and the whole process takes less than 30 minutes! Massage was very short and the hot stones were used for about 40 seconds not worth the effort of bringing them out. I am even more disappointed now ... what a joke! read more

This place is pretty awesome. #1 - They close at 9pm M-F and for someone who comes out of work late this is huge! #2 - They go by appointments. If you have an appt. and arrive on time, there shouldn't be a problem. Well I've never had a problem ;)b #3 - They are extremely clean! The nail files and buffers are all disposable, only used once and then trashed. I love that! The tools are all sterilized. Not just thrown into the blue liquid that most salons use but put in sterilized pouches that can go into the autoclave. #4 - The chairs are NOT held up by tape, I don't know why that was even said and I've been going there for some time now. The place is clean, I never see "dust bunnies" or any kind of "faded towels" the only ONE negative I have is the dry station. Though a very cute set up, they blow almost no air. I wish they would put some fans there or something. Other than that, try the place out yourself, I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more

WARNING DO NOT GET A PEDICURE FROM HERE. YOU WILL GET ATHLETE'S FOOT. Do not go here for a pedicure. I was in the spa on Tuesday, May 3 after work. I made the mistake of only reading Google reviews and not Yelp. My pedicure was extremely rushed which seems to be a common theme with reviewers. I noticed a chip in nail polish on one of my toes and asked the technician to fix it. She had a major attitude while starting that toe over. The filling, massage and painting of the nail was below average. The only enjoyable part was the paraffin treatment. WORST PART - I GOT ATHLETE'S FEET WHICH MEANS THE PLACE IS NOT CLEAN OR STERILE. I REPEAT DO NOT GET A PEDICURE. The next day after getting the pedicure, the symptoms started to occur and I had no symptoms prior. Manicure was average and decent. I went in to get a Brazilian done and my waxer rushed through it and practically covered my lap in baby powder so the wax wasn't even working at some point. The lady upfront asked me what design I want and I told her anything. ( just no flowers) She said she can only do simple designs, I said that's fine.
