I walked in for a pedi asked in Spanish what was the price , the lady in the back gave me such an attitude after I said wow $25. She said oh other places charge 30. I knew I should've walked out just from her attitude and how she spoke to me. I'm a paying customer who pays your salary have some respect! So I sat down and the girl who took care of me had zero Personality but who cares just so my pedicure and let me get out. Well the owner walks out sits down and then the first woman I had contact with goes over to her and starts telling her how I complained about the price. Wow how rude to speak about me when I'm sitting there ! So I turned around and said hey I can hear what you're saying I speak English and In fact I'm an American born and can speak both languages fluently. The idiot probably thought I didn't understand. Well I got up out my socks back on and left. Stay the F away from this establishment. No wonder there was no one in the place at 3 pm on a Saturday. This is the first time I am leaving a review for a nail salon and I've never felt pulled to actually leave one until now after the quality of service I received from this establishment. During my pedicure, the nail tech (not the owner Angela) her one other staff member first asked me to pull up my sweat pants after noticing I was struggling to do so since my hands were in plastic gloves. No common courtesy whatsoever. The pedicure was rushed, not gentle at all, and I was the only person that was present. If I am there to receive a service in an effort to unwind, relax and find calm in my day, I don't feel it's fair to have my technician rush through the process with the energy of not wanting to do it and get through it. As I was transitioning to the other side of the salon to get my manicure she then looked at me as I got up and asked me to grab my bag and shoes (I've never had a technician abruptly remind me to grab my things and not offer to do so or at least show an ounce of consideration) During my manicure, I attempted to answer my mothers call who I've been waiting to hear from for a few days and she abruptly yelled at me to put my hand back in the UV light. Her overall demeanor was incredibly rude, abrasive, and inconsiderate. I figured she must have been having a crappy day (although I personally don't believe anyone should reflect that when working as I myself am also in customer service and never project my feelings and things outside of work onto my clients). I decided to leave a smaller tip than I usually do because to me tips are for the quality of service and are absolutely not mandatory. The owner hounded me for a larger tip and even after a firm no.. just charge what I had originally asked, she still proceeded to say it was low and unfair. I couldn't believe the lack of professionalism and persistence. I just wanted to leave and agreed to the tip. I will not be returning here ever again. read more

LATINAS BEWARE! Wish I would have read the reviews on Yelp before heading to this nail salon today for the first time. Sandra, the nail tech, has a nasty attitude and awful customer service skills. She actually had the audacity to say that she "hates doing pedicures for Latinas." Let me clarify that both she AND I are Latinas! She said that Latinas are rude and have a bad attitude which is why she prefers to work on African Americans and Caucasians because they treat her "right and they tip better." I'm sorry but if this isn't unprofessional, I don't know what is!! This is the first time she is meeting me and I almost feel like she was being provocative and argumentative. I had an appointment for Gel pedicure for myself and manicure-pedicure for my 4 year old daughter. The girl named Sandra is a person with a very bad attitude. She began by telling me that my daughter was too young to mani pedi because she could not push or cut the cuticle (I knew it, I have worked as a manicurist) to which I told her that I only wanted them to file and they will paint my girl's nails. She kept telling me annoyingly that she did not understand how we as mothers could damage girls' nails from an early age and we should better teach them something productive like talking about God! Are you kidding me? I do not need classes on how to educate my daughter or religion. The pedicure was the fastest and nothing out of the ordinary, I told him that if he could check an ingrown toenail with the pusher, he replied that as a manicurist he could not touch me inside and I should go to a doctor (Podiatrist) I am very sorry about this bad review because the lady who did my daughter's nails was very kind and I suppose she is the owner, but you should realize that most of the bad reviews are for Sandra and that takes away clients because on my part she was the first and last time I go to your nail salon. I was very excited because it was the first time that my baby and I were going to the spa but it was a horrible experience and I couldn't wait to get out of there. read more

Pedicure and gel manicure tips was $92 I was like wow that's expensive but okay. No type of massage or lotion with manicure just smacks your hands away when she wants the other one and bends your fingers backwards, seriously had to say "ow" to make the finger torture stop. I have never made a Yelp review but my experience was so bad I just had to. Sandra the nail tech was so rude and nasty. I could barely hear her through the mask and she kept huffing and puffing when she would ask me to put my feet up and I didn't. She was so rough and cut my toe cuticles till I bled. Then she kept rushing me to choose a color and wouldn't give me a chance to try it on. Then she complained to the other woman that I couldn't make a decision. Mind you I was the only one there so what's the rush? When she finished she threw my slippers on the chair while I was sitting and told me to wear them and go to the chair for my nails. I called for a gel refill they sent up an appointment. I had to go to a party so I made the appointment for 3:30pm. When I got there the lady was like you don't have gel I told her yes I do. I love this place. It's five minutes from my house. I can call the same day and get an appointment. Their pedicures and wax is wonderful. This is the only place who does uv gel tips with color gel on top that lasts, and I beat up my nails pretty badly. I can't find a nearby place that compares! read more

Fairly new to the area, I have been exploring places to get both pedicures and waxes over the past several months. I had been to a couple of places for pedicures, and to one place (in Allwood plaza, down the hill) for waxing (belly & non-Brazilian bikini). But it seemed the price for a wax kept changing at their whim, and that price was already too expensive to begin with ($40?? Come on...that would be too much even for a hairy gorilla - which I am far from!)... so I bid them "adieu." Enter Lucky nails. I just went for a wax for the second time a few days ago, and so far the service seems very consistent. Michelle, who did my wax both times, is very sweet. She's also quick but thorough (both are hugely important to me), and seems to take a true interest in making sure you're satisfied. An added bonus; I've been to many many waxing places in my day, and for some reason it's virtually painless when Michelle does it. The price goes by hair, but is very reasonable. Parking is on the street (non metered) and I didn't have a problem either time; there's plenty. I'll probably try them out for a pedicure next time I'm due for one. The only constructive feedback I have - and this seems to be the case in many places (including the other place I mentioned above) - is that waxing can be a sensitive topic. Some people don't want to discuss the details of where they will be getting waxed in front of an entire room of other clients. It seems to be regular practice for these places to ask "where are you getting waxed?" out in the open. I don't think that's ever cool. So when they asked me that the other day, I told them that I would discuss it with them when we got into the waxing room. Bottom line: I will definitely go back for waxings as long as the service continues to be what it's been the past 2 times. I am also optimistic about their pedicures, but I can't speak from direct experience about that right now. read more

They took me in as a walk in on a Friday mid morning. There was already quite a number of ladies getting their nails done. The salon was clean appearing with no smells. I got a french gel manicure which was perfect. The whole process took 25-30min and cost $40 ($10 extra for french). I loved that the nail technician was gentle and asked before she did things like trim cuticles etc. Will def be coming back to try other services. read more

Great place if you are just looking for a simple manicure and pedicure. It's very clean and it's nice to see they use a sterilizer for their instruments (the arrow on the bag is brown which shows its sterilized) I only wish they had more of a color selection but it's not bad.
