I'll start off by saying Elite Nailed It literally lived up to their name because OMG, my nails and the entire experience was PERFECT (& Marisol the nail tech is magical)! I am new to the area (moved back to Jersey from DC) and my nails are literally sooooo important to me so finding a new nail salon that can meet my needs isn't an easy task because I ask for and expect a lot (& of course am willing to pay for it) and finding a salon who can meet the challenge has proven difficult in the past. I researched salons on Yelp and believe it or not didn't even come across Elite. I honestly happened to stumble upon it when I decided to go to the 7-11 in the same complex and upon entering immediately got a great vibe just from the decor, ambiance and how friendly and accommodating the owner Chelsea was. I explained exactly what I wanted / needed and she assured me they could meet my needs and made an appointment for me the next day. When I arrived the next day Chelsea remembered my name and immediately got me seated for my gel pedicure and acrylic removal. There were 2 lovely technicians working on my pedicure and acrylic removal simultaneously to make the best use of time. My pedicure was AMAZING! The tech took her time and was very gently yet thorough throughout the entire pedicure and my chrome gel polish wound up looking PERFECT! Next I was seated with Marisol who spent the next few hours removing the rest of the acrylic, applying new gel extensions, applying and shaping the gel precisely , selecting colors and gems to duplicate the photos of designs I wanted and putting the biggest smile on my face with the finished product as it was IMMACULATE PERFECTION !!! Honestly the best set I've ever had in my life and life been getting my nails done for over 30 years. I have found my new nail home and I'm so thankful to have done so on the first try. I love discovering a place by accident and with Elite Nailed it that was the case. I often frequent the Montclair/Glen Ridge area on the weekends for fitness classes and would usually stop by the Panera Bread that's in the same lot as the nail salon. One day I decided to randomly stop by and get a pedicure (which I stopped doing years ago for hygienic reasons). That first time was in the late summer/early fall of 2022 and I've been going ever since! The service is consistent. I've had different nails techs each time and they have all done phenomenal jobs. The salon is clean, updated and very spacious. All of my staff encounters have been positive. Everyone is so friendly and the techs really take their time to make sure you're satisfied. I was hesitant to write this but I have not stopped thinking about my last experience for a few days. I had an event and wanted to get a gel manicure which upon arrival they took me right away. My nails are short but nothing dramatic. The technician who was doing my nails was very rough and rushed the entire process. When she trimming my cuticles, she cut me and profusely apologized, then proceeded to be a tiny bit gentler but after a few fingers became rough again and she cut me for the second time. As the manicure went on she cut me 2 more times bringing the total to 4 of my fingers bleeding. She then kind of chuckled and said that I have sensitive fingers. I have gotten gel manicures over and over again and never had this experience. I was then charged full price ($40) for the manicure by the technician which I thought was truly wild. This entire experience upset me because I have been to this salon many times and loved it, but after this occurrence I don't think I will be returning. read more

Oh my goodness. One of the best pedicures I've ever received! I did one of the spa options where they did callus removal, mud mask, parafan wax. That came with a ten minute foot massage and a ten min BACK massage. It was all so heavenly. I wouldn't but I could eat on my feet read more

I used to love this place. There were little things I would see, but no nail salon can be perfect. I began taking a step back once the last three times I went to get a refill, the price for my refill kept changing. I understand the market isn't the best, but a price jump every month is crazy. The last straw was when they caused damage to my nails... WARNING: DO NOT COME HERE TO REMOVE YOUR UV HARD GEL!! For two weeks, my nails were hurting & sensitive to touch. I had streaks of blood on my nail bed, and they were still breaking out like paper. The tech that removed my hard gel must not have been experienced in the process and was too aggressive with my nails. During the session, I expressed the pain it was causing, but I never thought it would be this bad. read more

There aren't a ton of detailed reviews of nail salons in the Bloomfield area so here it goes: I had a fantastic first time going to this salon. I called for a same-day appointment and they fit me right in. They do take walk-ins. The owner (I assume) at the front desk greeted me as soon as I entered and she was really friendly. They have a decent selection of colors. I got a gel mani regular pedi, and my nail tech Emma took her time making sure my nails were shaped perfectly. She used single-use files! I know this is supposed to happen but not many places actually do this. They have a no-fee ATM on site for tips which is convenient, and a free parking lot too. It's a bit more expensive than what I'm used to ($75 for the gel mani reg pedi) but you're definitely getting what you pay for. I was there for about an hour and a half, which is also a bit longer but I appreciated the attention to detail. Generally a quiet atmosphere except for the occasional kid tagging along to mom's appointment. Highly recommend! read more
