The customer service here isn't the greatest. I walked in looking to get my uv gel set removed and instead of someone telling me they weren't able to squeeze me in, they had me sit down for 20 mins waiting. There is a guy that works there that asked me what I needed done (after the 20 mins) and when I told him he said he couldn't do it to return the next day. I was so upset I told him I wasn't going to return and he got someone to help. A lady came over and sat me down but then my experience got worse. She removed my uv gel set and gave me a manicure, but my nails are so weak from the buffing that I'm still suffering. While waiting, I saw the guy giving pedicure massages and they seemed pretty pleasant. I just won't be returning to try him out. There are so many other salons in the area, they should learn to treat new customers better. read more

Shame on me for not taking down the individual's name at the time of the call but shame on the owner for approaching me about the situation in a confrontational manner. There aren't any perfumed foot soaks or fancy sugar scrubs here but aims to provide a spa experience. The Wishlist: more attention to cuticles. I've never been able to say that I have found a salon that I genuinely love, until I came to Viva La Beauty. Customer service is GREAT and they are always on time! I have gotten both Gel manicure and pedicure from here and have always been satisfied. I love Bridgette, but everyone here does amazing work and you would not be disappointed by any of the ladies who work here. All are super friendly and make your experience delightful. After reading some not so great reviews, I would recommend making your appointment online. If you go to their website, you'll be able to schedule your appointments there. I love it because there are some salons that try and make you keep the same appointment every two weeks. For me with my busy schedule, it's really hard for me on a weekly basis to know when I am available. Scheduling online makes it super helpful and convenient. As for the UV gel, there is a sign in the salon that says "guarantee for 7 days". So yes, you may find that after a week your manicure begins to chip. They encourage you to come in for touchups if your nail breaks or chips. I definitely will not be leaving here anytime soon! read more

Second visit: thumbs up! This was a repeat of my first visit (same services, same treatment). I'll definitely become a regular here to Rosa better get used to my feet! First Visit: I've been searching for a good nail salon around here for ages, and this place just secured my continued visitation. I quickly and easily scheduled an appointment on their website; you're not required to make an appointment, but it's recommended. The hostess was extremely friendly when I got there, and the pedicurist greeted me enthusiastically. Everyone there seemed to truly enjoy their jobs, and I didn't feel like I was a nuisance the way other salons are prone to acting. Regular pedicure plus callus removal only ran me $30.00, and the "regular" pedicure was amazing! Hot stones were used to massage my legs as part of the regular pedicure! My pedicurist was Rosa, and I highly recommend her! She massaged my legs and feet for a very generous amount of time, and I didn't feel rushed even the slightest. She even massaged my upper back for a few minutes when I first moved to the dryer. She cleaned up my nails nicely (and gently!), and the polish was expertly applied. After being here several times and being generally pleased with their services I was very disappointed today. I walked in for a pedicure with callous treatment in order to remove dry skin. It looks like I changed my nail polish. I had to explain to her how to apply the callous treatment, I scrubbed my own foot and she had to the nerve to tell me it wouldn't come out all at once. Found my new nail salon! I searched for places on yelp after being unhappy with the cleanliness of my current salon. Viva la beauty was close to my house and had many positive reviews. It's easy to make an appointment online and you even get to pick your tech. As soon as we (my mom and I) were seated in our pedicure chair there were cleaning supplies laid out. While I was receiving my pedicure the woman next to me finished and I watched the tech disinfect and scrub the pedicure tub thoroughly. The girls are all very nice and friendly. ( I made this appointment online) when I got there they were pretty much rushing my service . "I have another appointment " is exactly what the lady who was doing my gel pedicure told me she didn't even clean my cuticles good. When I told her what kind of gel I wanted she gives me an excuse on why it wouldn't look right. At the end of this terrible service I was charged $90 for a gel mani and pedi .. I'm so disappointed with their services recently! I have been going to Jessica for a long time and every time I make an appt with her it's never honored. She's always running late at least 30 minutes and I always end up staying close to 2 hours for a gel mani. I feel like she's always overwhelmed with her customers, but don't get me wrong she still does a great job just poor time management. The lady that did my pedicure used a callus remover and cut my big toe. She continued to put a solution on it that stung so bad. I told her to just leave it. Three days later, my toe hurt, and was super red and swollen. Went to the doctor, they did a culture of the puss coming out, turns out it was a staph infection. I went here because my usual mail tech left the area and I needed a UV-gel overlay and gel polish. I am very particular about my nails because I have been doing UV gel overly on my long natural nails for about 4 years, 3 years of which I used to do them myself, so I know what I like and what I don't. I went hoping for the best. Everyone was nice and it was quiet. The supplies and materials they used were very nice. The environment was nice and professional. But, the nail tech did a horrible job. I showed her a picture of what I wanted which was an almond shape and asked for a thin natural look. I kept having to tell her what was wrong and what to fix. Although she was nice and professional the whole time I could tell she was annoyed. The color was nice a nude w. Chrome coating. But when I got home and really looked at them they were horrible the shape of the top of the nail was lumpy or had a huge bubble. And then a week late the gel polish kept chipping off the chrome. She must've scrubbed my poor legs and feet for what felt like forever, massaged them to kingdom come, and finished with a stone rub to boot. Paraffin wrap and masks are included which is unheard off.
