It was only towards the end of the service did I see her physically put the same stick back in the jar which immediately freaked me out. I asked her why is she using the same stick and she said she uses a different jar for each client which is a lie. There was no disposable jar of wax she used on me. She uses a GiGi wax system that I see in multiple salons where they use a different stick every time they dip into the wax. I asked her to show me the jars and she wouldn't. This is unsanitary and illegal. I reported her to Groupon and will also be notifying the state board. Totally disgusting practices.

That said, I didn't feel like she wasn't really listening to me. I specifically told her this was my third time sugaring, and shortly afterward she started explaining things to me as though it were my first time. It was a little frustrating because I had literally just told her I'd done this before. The bigger issue, though, was the actual Brazilian. Later that day when I got home, I noticed quite a few small hairs still remaining on one side. At first I didn't think it was a huge deal because they weren't very noticeable. But then I took a closer look and realized there were several long, dark hairs completely missed on the inner labia. For a Brazilian, that's a pretty significant area to miss. A few stray hairs wouldn't have bothered me, but this was much more than that. I really wanted this to be my new go-to spot, especially because the location is so convenient, but unfortunately the quality of the service just wasn't there. I won't be returning.

The facility is very pink lol. Not an obnoxious pink but it starts to close in on you after awhile. The receptionist let me know my tech was finishing up with her client but that wait turned into 20 min. It's finally my turn and after sitting past my appointment time I assumed the wax would be warm and the table already cleaned off but nope. Anywho... to me, the application of the sugar wax was more painful than the ripoff. I'll definitely try this again because it did last a little longer than regular waxing.

For me personally, the time leading up to a Brazilian wax is the most anxiety filled, however the anxiety is washed away with her friendly conversations that you even forget you're getting waxed! The ladies here are pros and there is no hand holding happening here. They are trying to get you in and out the door in the most respectable way possible. So if you're ready then they're ready. Haha. That sums up my take on the brazilian waxing services. As for the vajacial, it wasn't life changing. I think it had everything to do with the tiny seat that was reserved for my big butt. It was uncomfortable and I didn't experience any benefits. Also, I was in a room with another person. I think I can speak for them by saying that it was akward. She spent most of the time on her phone telling someone all about her vajacial and I had the pleasure of being in the background of her video call. Following the vajacial was a facial. That was alright but I think there might be other spaces for me to experience a more thorough job that would include recommendations to improve my skin. So would say that you should prepare with a painkiller, if necessary and head on over for their waxing services.

I walked one block to where my car was parked realized I had left my wallet there. I then called and said I would be right there. I forgot my wallet which took all of three minutes and when I got there, they said my wallet wasn't left behind that was impossible. My wallet was at least 6 inches long and 2 inches wide and had it dropped I would've definitely heard it. The girl who serviced me had no reaction which to me was very telling. I will never ever go back to Bloomfield Wax and skin and if I were you, I'd leave my wallet behind and just take my card in and whatever tip you want to give them Rosemary Scardino

She just shrug her shoulders and said I don't know. It's none of my business but I don't think this salon is going to be around for much longer, it was completed empty and the two employees were blasting music in their headphones, head completely down on their phones. They could have received a quick purchase and tip but I quickly requested and received a refund from Groupon.
