I have never had such fast service that still looked good!! - Cheap pricing. If you get a gel mani, they don't charge you extra for taking off previous gel. Again, unheard of in big cities. - There's a membership program you can enroll in to get points for the money you spend. You can earn free mani's and such. You also get double points when you pay in cash. Cons: - I've had different people do my nails and some are great and some are really bad. One time, I had a lady (didn't get her name) and I told her she was hurting my cuticles when she was filing the side of my nails and she just laughed at me and shrugged it off. I told her again later and she seemed annoyed and made it seem I was being sensitive about it. Then when she gave me a shoulder massage (comes with the mani), I asked her to do light pressure and again she seemed annoyed and did not follow my request. When I left the salon, though my nails looked good, my shoulders were red and in pain, and my side of my nail(by where she was filing) was hurting like crazy. The skin was rubbed raw and kept hurting for a whole week after. This only happened one time that I've been here and my mom never had bad experiences. So now I know which lady to avoid.

This is a small nail salon usually only two workers so I would recommend calling ahead to make an appointment (they do accept walk ins but will turn people away if they are booked with appts). Everyone else there is super nice and do great jobs on my feet without making me feel insecure about my toes. The pedicure tub is my favorite. They use a new liner everytime so you never put your feet in a tub that 7 people before you did. They also have spa pedicures. When I get waxed, they always do a good job. Never had complaints. Overall it's worth every mile I travel and every dollar I spend. I love them and the owner is so sweet and always smiles and greets the customers when they come in. They do not rush you when they are busy, might tell you it's a little wait but again worth it. I always get complimented on my nails, even people stop me and ask about my nails. I have visited Kim's Rejoicing Nails for years because the owner's customer service has been great. Lately, the owner has not been there on several of the visits I've made, and I have had very bad experiences with one worker whose name sounds like "Lucky" or "Loki." She was very rough with me, and today she burned my hand in an old gel nail dryer. When I said "ouch" and recoiled in pain, I asked if she could change me to the station next to us that was not being used. She didn't want to accept that the nail dryer might have been broken. "Lucky" insulted me, called me names, and yelled at me to leave, even though the service was half done. Her coworker Fanny took over and finished the job, while I tolerated the added humiliation of "Lucky" telling me, in front of the other customers, that she can't deal with stupid customers like me. Because Fanny completed the job professionally, I had visited this place many times before, and because I was in the middle of the service and going elsewhere would have meant getting my nails scraped again with damage, I had the service finished. I did not leave a tip. I will never go back again. If I didn't know the owner for so many years, I would report this incident to the Better Business Bureau. What I went through today is a safety hazard.

She was not asked to do it & in fact, she didn't even have any idea anybody was even watching her, nor did anybody even knew she was doing it (as all the women were busy as usual) but I was getting a pedi & had a perfect view, and boy was I IMPRESSED! After she was done, I just had to speak up & compliment her & tell her how impressed I was & told her that she did a better job than most adults would do! (Sad, but true). She cutely gave me a sweet smile. And btw, nobody told her to do that either!---it's obvious she's being raised to take pride (for sure) & this young girl was prob not even a teen yet. Sadly when soaking off my old gel manicure, they left my nails soaking too long and my nail beds were burned. An oversight I guess, but they weren't that busy that this should not have happened. I made an appointment for a mani/pedi for 2 weeks later. I called the day before and asked if I could bring my daughter for service also. They said yes but needed to change the time to accommodate us, which was fine. Upon arrival we were told that we couldn't both get a mani/pedi, which was hugely disappointing since it was 2 days before Easter. It was also my only day off to get this done, but I shouldn't have been inconvenienced to come twice which the point of making an appointment, isn't it?? The salon continued to allow walk in customers all while telling us we couldn't get 2 services. I think it's strange that a salon would sacrifice a potential long term customer to allow basic volume of customers. I would never return here, it's a shame.
