As for pedicures - they're a bit pricey honestly, but it's justified with the amazing massage chairs, exfoliating leg/foot scrub, and the hot stones. Tip #1: Bring cash if you can! I came here for the first time last week and I'm happy and will be back. Maria did a nice job on my toes and finger nails. The gentleman (I didn't get his name) did a nice job with some holiday "art" on my 4th fingers. The owner, Sunny, was pleasant. The price was about the same that I pay at other places in Wayne, less than what I used to pay in Lyndhurst. They gave me a nice Christmas/holiday gift and at my request, a card to track my visits. I had to go back today because I chipped the gel polish on one nail and there was no charge and he wouldn't even accept my tip. I have nothing but good things to say about Lucky Nails. read more

Not sure if the owner is the woman who greets and sits to the left at the first manicure table (Asian woman) but it was my first time there and I will never go again. The girl who did my pedicure was nice, but the woman I am speaking of made me feel so uncomfortable, because she had an attitude and 1/2! Rude. My pedicure came out well, but nails?... Service here is extremely inconsistent. I have been coming here regularly for over a year and have had both good and bad experiences. However, after my last pedicure I WILL NEVER GO BACK. They were busy and I expected to wait. They put me in a chair and had 3 people working on my toes in between what they were doing (and working on my nails while I was in the pedicure chair). The girl who cut them (EVEN THOUGH I SAID DO NOT CUT THEM) cut them way way too short and extremely angled. I was in tears after seeing them. I also said more than once to just do a regular pedicure but they charged me for the spa treatment because one of the girls (of the three) insisted that I asked for the spa. Also, I used the same color on my nails but it looks no where near the same. When I left I was getting my tip out for the girls and the owner insisted I give them more because they had multiple people working on me...RUDE!! The customer service in general is just average. Recently redecorated with lighter colors, my quiet secret haven for nails. I hate to give away my girls name because I want to keep her to myself but Daisy is wonderful. She's careful and sweet. My color gels really last a solid 2-3 weeks. Daisy also did a good inexpensive brow wax to hold me over until my next wax appointment at my fancier place. They always have on soft, relaxing music which I appreciate. Pricing is good and I feel comfortable here. It's not a "scene". I actually used to go to the more popular place in town but parking was crazy there..not the case here. The owner, June is a rude, money-grubbing, unfriendly, unwelcoming person. Walked in/she was at the desk. I said hi, how are you? She stares at me and says PICK A COLOR! After I chose the color, she squinted her eyes, pointed out at me, and said SIT HERE! One of the rudest people I have ever encountered in the service industry. I've been going to Lucky Nails for 2 years! I love it here! They always greet me by name when I come in. I get powder/ dip gel. I usually come every 3 weeks for manicure and every few times I get a pedicure too. My powder gel lasts without chipping for 3 weeks! My pedicure also lasts when I get the longer lasting polish. They are a little more expensive than other places but it is worth it! They take their time and do a great job! read more

This place is great! They always have a great sale going on. The girls do such a nice job. They really spend time cleaning up your nails before painting. And I was very happy with my paint job the last time I went. They make you feel so pampered. They even set a timer for when they massage your legs during the pedicure. Great place! 3 weeks in and my nails still look great. I love that they wrap your nails in foil to take off the gel. Other places use that little electric file grinder which weakens your nails. I get my mani/pedi with Daisy, she's amazing. She makes sure all edges are painted, shapes them the way I ask her to and since she's been doing my nails, they have grown significantly. See picture - MY NAILS!! I know right? Nice! I've had a pedi with one of the other spanish speaking girls and they have done a good job as well. I started going to this place in May 2016. I was very impressed at the professionalism and the quality of the pedicure I received. I went back a few weeks later for another pedicure and gel manicure. Again, I found the girls very professional and they did a good and thorough regular pedicure. They even set a timer for the leg massage. I returned again for another pedicure and gel manicure with an appointment. When I walked in, the waiting area was packed and I thought for sure they wouldn't take me on time, but they did! I walked in and this place was packed! I thought I was going to have to wait a while but they surprisingly took me right away! I went to get a mani/pedi and brought a 4 year old little girl I babysit to get her nails done. They started on my pedi first so I had Ella on my lap while she waited. When it was her turn, they picked her up off my lap and sat her in the chair like she was a big girl! As soon as she was done, she came back all happy and thanked me for "The Best Day Ever" I've been looking for a decent nail salon around Wayne for a while but I got lucky when I walked into Lucky Nails. They are so nice and they do a great job! Not only was I happy with my nails but Ella said she had the "Best Day Ever" and she's only 4! Recently moved to the area so I had to find a new nail salon because my original salon is just too far. This place is horrible, went twice because I can walk from my apartment. The first time I actually had an appointment and still waited over 25 minutes. The second time I asked for a short trim on my long nails. She did one and i said it was perfect length. She then got to another nail that had recently broke. The woman literally cut them ALL off without asking, and i got the response.."just so they matched the broken nail". Then as she was filing, I asked her to please not file them down anymore, just buffer them to get the smoothness. She disregarded what I said and continued to file them even shorter. They are so short they look like they used to when I used to bite them!! I was almost in tears and almost got up and walked out. She also knew how upset I was and never even gave me a discount to at least earn my business back again. NEVER again will I go back to place. They need workers who actually listen to their clients. read more

Customer service is terrible. Owner is not nice and girls are not nice My daughter & I had our mani & pedi's this past Sunday. To learn they don't use new nail files and buffers that come out of the package like sanitary Nail Salons use. I requested they use new things or I would go somewhere else. Owner and girls gave an attitude but gave me new nail files and buffer for my daughter and I. After Pedi's my daughter wanted a french manicure, the girl who did her pedi said she could not do it because her nails were not long enough. So the girl that did my mani & pedi did it for her. And although she did a good job her customer service skills were not good either. I gave her a $15 tip and did not get a neck message like they are supposed to give after either. I asked the owner Michele and she told me sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. I was rather blown away by this and said to myself I will never go back to this place and should I requested my tip money back because they really did not deserve it. Furthermore, the 40% off full service coupon they have in the newspaper is only for adults, not for kids mani's & pedis which is a surprise when you are paying the bill. This does not state this on the coupon that kids are excluded. Just bad service, ungrateful people and unsanitary nail salon. Will never go back and will stick to my Profile Nail Spa on Mountain View Blvd. I was glad I spoke to these new customers that had walked in and was witnessing what was going on and told them to go to Profile Nail Spa, which they ended up walking out on the way out with us and head to Profile : ) read more
