I called to ask if I needed to make an appointment and it was early so she said I could come in now. Got in and right away the took me for a pedicure. It was well done and I was pleased. The manicure was also well done and looked great. I only got a regular Mai/pedi so I'm not sure how the other styles are done. I was a little surprised by the cost which I thought would be cheaper than Queens, but they are not. Either way, the visit went well and I was pleased. If you need a really quick pedicure this is a good spot but don't expect to feel pampered. Most of the time services are rushed and it feels like a factory. They've cut me on a few occasions and I'm not sure I can trust that they consistently use different tools on each customer (have seen pedicure technicians reusing on next customer on two separate instances). Last time I was there, I asked for a manicure and the owner helped me but she sat me right next to the cashier and was also answering calls on her headset while she did my nails. Not relaxing at all and Gel polish chipped within a few days. read more

As a hairdresser my nail polish is always chipping and peeling off as my hands are in water all day, I decided to come here to get acrylics, they are on your nail and there's no way they're coming off, I've tried other places and had the acrylics falling off and hair getting caught and yanked in my nails, but this place does a phenomenal job at acrylics. It's also the first place I told that I like my acrylics really short because I can't handle long nails and they actually made them short and the perfect length, other places I went to would keep them long and tell me that "they'll get filed down" and at the end of my service they would still be too long, this place does a phenomenal job at listening to what you want and id recommend every one of the nail techs here. read more

Unfortunately disappointed with my experience here. The woman who did my gels was noticeably rushing from the moment I was choosing my color (she asked if I've chosen yet every 10 seconds and then started pushing random colors on me) to the actually process of doing my nails. There was no soaking and cuticle cutting, a really poor job filing (one of my nails is slanted diagonally up and really sharp), she very sloppily layered on the polish and missed areas of my nail while getting my skin on other nails, and when lotioning my hands afterwards, just smothered the lotion around and didn't take the time to massage it into the skin like normally. Getting nails done isn't cheap and I do it MAYBE 4x a year so it's really upsetting that the treatment was so poor. read more

I purchased a large gift card and was charged $7.70 for the credit card fee. I will NEVER buy a gift card there again or use their salon. Ugh what the heck happened to this place?! Meh is the best word I can come up with! I never felt so rushed and chipped at a nail salon before! A gel manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax in an hour?! What a waste of $60.00! My pedicure was probably the worst I ever had. I get them done every two weeks so my feet are easy to do so why did I leave with uneven toenails and rough heels? I'm sitting in my bathroom getting ready to redo them right now! My manicure was awkward. The young lady didn't speak would just tap the machine when it was time to put my hand in, not even a hand massage! I stood have stuck where I always go ! I cannot even talk about my eyebrows... two totally different shapes ! Never again! As other yelpers have said, the best and longest lasting gel nails. I had my on for almost 3 weeks with no chips. Usually I take the polish off at home by dunking the nails in a jar. Not this time because the gel is on their really well. While the nail staff are not very engaging, they are looking after quality. Wish I lived closer to get my nails done more regularly because they put extra polish in the tips for that long lasting effect. And, I got a free calendar! read more

Just wanted to let everyone know about my awful experience at Blooming Nails just now. I came at 12:45 for a gel pedicure, and met my mom who had my 3-year-old daughter with her. My daughter sat on my lap quietly eating Oreo cookies for my entire gel pedicure. When I was finished, we waited for my mom by the seating area. At first they were no seats, but when one became available I had my daughter sit down and watch videos on my phone while my mom finished up. She met a young boy, and he was entertaining while sitting her as well. I remained standing, as people older than me were waiting. I allowed them to sit before I did. As we were wrapping up, I exchanged contact info with another mother. Her son and my daughter got along very well. The owner, Christine Che, began rolling her eyes and rushing the other mother out the door. I was shocked. She then told me to sit down with my daughter until we were finished. As we left, I told her that my daughter was VERY well behaved and barely made any noise. Christine said that, "A nail salon is no place for children to play or be heard" and that "No one wants to hear children here". She also said I "stood in her way for 40 minutes and could not see in the back what was going on". If you cannot handle the stress, hire someone to work the front desk. Don't tell me you cannot see because I was standing. You're obviously busy enough to have the money to hire someone. Just wanted everyone to be aware that children who are well-behaved are not allowed here. But their BARKING DOG is allowed in the salon whenever they want. Guess that sort of noise is allowed. I had been in search of a new salon for gel manicures for some time now and I'm happy I've found this place. They're great at honoring appointment times, designs, and overall cleanliness. Every time I go I ask for Katie and she takes her time with whatever design I decide to bring to her and I appreciate it very much. My gel mani also lasts a long time before I even need to consider getting them re-done. I've left happy every time. The only downside can be the parking. I was recommended to go to the Blooming Nails location in Wayne by a friend and was looking forward to having a new nail sanctuary! The area is nice, average parking availability, and the salon is pretty big with a number amount of employees to assist customers. Due to that fact, I was very disappointed in the service I received. My first experience was troubling, I asked for a gel manicure with one coat of LCN. As the woman breezed through my nails, she never planned on pushing my cuticles back until I spoke up. Then I asked that my nails did not look or feel too bubbly with the amount of coats she applied. At the end they were not what I expected. I tried going a second time with my friend that recommended the salon to me, hoping I would have a different experience. Unfortunately, it was worse than the first time. The woman that started to assist me knew that the job done before hand was done poorly as most of my nails were lifted. Two of my nails were already coming off and it was only a two week span from my first appointment. Once again, she rushed through my nails and did a mediocre job. I just told myself I would not return back, however, I was not that lucky. Only two days past and four of my nail polishes chipped off. I called Blooming Nails to advise them and they confirmed that it would be fixed. I asked that they redo all my nails because I was nervous that it would happen to the rest of them as well. They denied me and yet to verify my fear my nail polish chips off the next day on another finger. I was so frustrated because it could've all been resolved the first time around but yet I called once more (this was my third time going) instead of apologizing and trying to come to a resolution to have a reoccurring customer, they just suggested a refund and advise for me to go somewhere else. This was the last straw and I gave up. This location is 30 mins away from me. I had to drive all the way there to retrieve my refund and they did not even offer to fix it one last time. The money was forced into my hand and there was no apology or eye contact made to me. I never felt so unserved in my life and I've been getting my nails done for years and never had an experience like this one. After going to several nail salons in the area, I finally found the one! Blooming nails salon is located right on Hamburg, the parking lot is behind the bilevel home. Once you enter, you are graciously greeted by the owner, Christine, who will accommodate you in her busy salon. My tip would be to make sure you schedule an appointment, as they tend to get very busy but don't let that turn you away from coming. Chris has multiple pedicure stations, on the main level and second floor, various manicure stations as well. They have a plethora of colors to choose from and delightful, relaxing options for pedicures. So far I have tried the mango spa pedi and the lavender, both an amazing treat for your feet. Prices are reasonable for the area, the service is fantastic and the cleanliness is superb. If you're in the area and need a mani/pedi make sure to give them a try. read more

what a mistake going to this place for a pedicure. One of the worst I have ever had - and I have gone for pedis monthly for years. But I am out of town for a few weeks and was desparate to have my toenails cut. I asked for short and square, and got still long, and now uneven and jagged. The one star was for the massage of my legs. That was the only good part. Plus, the chairs are very close together, and though staff wore masks, patrons for the most part did not. The pedicure was decent, maybe a little rushed but my manicure was pretty meticulous. I got the sense that they specialize in gel manicures or sets with designs, not so much regular manicures. This nail salon does have a decent location and offers a great deal of services. And it's quite a large salon with a lot of colors to choose from, especially gel. But I was disappointed with the service. I got gel fill ins and the woman made 4 of my fingers bleed because she was filing so quickly trying to hurry me out of there. I mean after the first time I was bleeding she should've been more careful. And then I left and noticed one of my nails is significantly shorter than the same nail on the other hand because she didn't check the lengths after she was done filing. Not worth the prices. They're expensive and to have spent $50 + tip and not be happy is very disappointing. Will not be returning here sadly, and was looking for a new nail salon to make my regular spot. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. A solid two weeks without chipping, amazing design, and excellent service. I got my manicure pedicure and removal of old powder dip within 1.5 hours. I will be coming here for all my nail needs. My mani was 39 I think, and pedi was 34 I think. Both had designs.One mani done by Danny chipped within 6 days, the others have all lasted 2+ weeks. I think maybe it was just the polish he used. Prob not his fault. I dont know. But it was a fluke thing and i love this place. I go routinely on sundays in the morning so I know I can get parking and I have never had to wait for a chair when I have my appt. :) read more

When i called they did not mention they don't do acrylic nails. Once i was already in the chair she mentions to me that they do Gel-x. i've never had this method used on my before but they basically glue on an entire fake nail on top of ur own by curing it with UV light. The girl glued on 2 on the nails crooked which i asked her to kindly redo. I was happy with the final result but by the next day my nails already felt loose. The picture is about a week after. I've been going there for a while. I'm sure it was because I was speaking Spanish on the phone. She was very nasty and told me twice to get off my phone. I've been coming here the past few months after reading some awesome Yelp reviews. I have to say, I'm DEFINITELY a fan. Things I love: 1. The owner, Chris is very sweet and seems to know most of the clients by first name (huge plus). 2. Their hand painted designs are FANTASTIC. Great artistic talent by some of their staff. 3. Color selection is huge. 4. Their pedicures are very well priced and have the removable liners in their tubs, which is one of my favorite things. Very sanitary! 5. All of their equipment is new and updated -- not full of dust. 6. They can almost always take me as a walk-in. 7. My gel manicures usually last the full two-weeks if not more. The reasons I didn't give 5 stars: 1. I had someone new doing my gel nails 2 days ago -- one of my nails broke and it already looks like 2 of them grew out, which leads me to believe she didn't cut my cuticles like I had asked. 2. The parking behind the building (house) is pretty sparse. When the lot is full, it makes it pretty difficult to maneuver / get in and out. I made an appointment at 9:30am for 11:15am for just a gel manicure. I got there at 11:10, picked out a color and they took my immediately! Sunny fixed my broken nail, did probably the cleanest gel polish application I've ever seen, gave me a massage and a hot towel and I was finished at 11:33am. I AM AMAZED AND OBSESSED!
