The salon is very clean and beautiful too. Lisa does a perfect job with my pink and white nails. They look so natural and are very durable. Best pink and white nail job I've ever gotten. Only downfall is that they aren't open on Sundays and close at 7:30 during the week, so by the time I get home from work in the city Monday-Friday, it is too late to come. I got a pedicure less than 24 hours ago and the polish just smudged. Probably diluted with too much acetone. Very disappointing considering a pedicure is $19. Also, I called in advance to make an appointment for two people; I still had to wait 20 minutes and ended up having one technician go back and forth between me and my friend. She was clearly rushing between balancing us and other customers. It was not entirely her fault. If someone had told me there was no room, I would have just come at a different time instead of paying for a horrible job. Currently at the salon and feeling compelled to write a review. I have been coming here for 2.5 years since moving to the area. I have had mediocre experiences unless I have the owner, Barbra or another worker do my nails, in which case it's a 7-8/10. Barbra is very sweet and does a good job, she was pushy with services for about the first year of coming here which is extremely off putting and did the same when I brought my mother in law along as well. I have gotten used to environment though and usually leave satisfied enough. Today I called to see if they could take me as a walk in, a worker Clara (who does a good job but is not always very friendly), told me that I could come in and someone new would do my pedicure. I asked if the new person was good (I am extremely particular, rightfully so) and she clearly said yes. I decided to take a chance as I brought my four week old baby with me and did not have much time. The new worker, Gina, was extremely slow setting up and looked very uncomfortable. I asked her if she knew how to do a pedicure and if she had done one before, she then asked to wait for someone else to do because she usually only does manicures and someone else can do the pedicure more professionally. I waited a few extra minutes to get started, which isn't very accommodating especially with a new baby. I then asked Clara why she told me that the new worker was good at pedicures over phone when the worker told me she doesn't do them usually, Clara ignored me until I repeated myself a few times to force a response out of her which was just a mumble nothing with clarity. It is extremely rude and unprofessional to lie, be dishonest, dismissive and take advantage of clients, especially someone who frequents the salon. It is very frustrating and not at all relaxing to have a service in this kind of environment with tension, even if the pedicure is acceptable. read more

I've been going there for a long time and once years ago I had an nail infection where the nail fell off completely.  I overlooked it and bought my own cuticle cutter.  All that time there has been a tech named Clara who is saying horrible things about me in Spanish any time there was any other tech who was Spanish.  I understand Spanish.  Once again, I overlooked it. This week I went and redeemed my card which promises 10% off when you get 9 services.  They didn't honor it. The difference was small, but it was insulting. But after tolerating being spoken about to my face, and the lack of hygiene with the instruments, that was the last straw.  I  will never be back.   Be assured, when they're talking in Korean, they are saying horrible things about you. read more

It was my first time here and I won't be back. It took the nail tech 2 hours and 45 minutes to do a lousy job on a solid color gel mani and gel pedi. I never had it take this long at any salon I've ever been to! And it would have taken longer if I didn't tell her I had an appointment coming up. On top of that they cut my cuticles so deep that I started bleeding and was hurting me. She wasn't planning on telling me and tried to cover it with her fingers. I know this is going to get infected because it still hurts after 4 hours. Also, the ge mani is very streaky and is sloppy. Hard to give one star to a local business who's been there for 20 years so I go with two stars. They've updated their drying station to be more up to date. The rest of the salon needs updating. Color gel mani pricing is still out of line with what other salons in town charge. $35 is too high for a non-luxury salon in Wayne. My biggest hang-up here is that I paid quite a bit extra for a spa pedi on a quiet day (I don't even think there was one other customer in the salon, maybe one on her way out) and she did my spa Ped in 1/2 hour. No need to rush me like that but WORSE, I was left with rough skin and the tech wouldn't fix it after I politely pointed it out. She told me to go home and put Vaseline on it......buh bye. I have been coming here for a few years. The owner Barbara is very pleasant and the whole atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The gel polish lasts around two weeks. Although I have been to other nail salons where the gel polish lasts longer, I have to say this is by far the cleanest nail salon I have ever seen. You actually see each nail tech clean and disinfect the tools after each customer which for me, is very important and worth having to possibly go there a little more often. In all my years getting my nails done, I have never been to a salon where you see the techs cleaning the tools and take such pride in cleanliness.
