I had made an appointment for my birthday after a stressful day and had a bad experience. I'm very simple and don't expect much but I'm sure people can vouch when you get a pedicure they rub your legs AND feet. The woman did the bare minimum and did not even touch my feet. She didn't clip OR file my toes and rushed. My toe nail polish came out awful and on is on my skin she didn't even attempt to remove it. So I stayed positive in hopes my gel manicure would be better since I heard good things... nope. The lady rushed through my gel mani barely did my cuticles. I have bumps at the ends of my nails and gel stuck to my skin. I told her about the bumps since I didn't want to be a pain, she didn't even fix it.. then I had to tell her 5 times to make the nails even when filing. When I initially started going I started out with Chloe for gel manicure. I had no issues with the way my nails were done. After the next few times I started to notice that she does not soak the old gel off but files and reapplies the new gel when doing my gel manicures. As a customer I should not have to feel like I am not allowed to either point out something that maybe she missed or simply ask that lifted gel areas be removed to prevent water from getting in and possible fungus. Well, when I tried to book an appointment online I realized that the system kept giving me an error saying I can't book and to call the salon. I then come to find out that the employees are able to block you in the booking system from making appointments. When speaking to Emily the owner she had no issues whatsoever with her employee saying that I was too picky and actually justified her employees choice. I'm not sure what customer goes anywhere (hair salon, nail salon, barber) and does not tell the person what they like and how they like it but just sits in the chair and let's them do what they want. After speaking with Emily, she then blocked me from their online booking system from me coming in for any service. What type of salon does that over a customer telling a nail tech to remove lifting gel. I suggest if you go to this nail salon, don't say a word, keep your mouth shut or they will ban you. Chloe is great on nail design but she definitely isn't cut to deal with customers that simply tell her how they like their nails, if your that sensitive then dealing with people is not where you should be working. read more

This was the first time I had gotten my nails done in a really long time after a pretty poor experience with the last salon I went to. I got a full acrylic set with gel polish. Not only are my nails stunning, the atmosphere was fantastic, the prices are reasonable, and my technician (Billy, if I recall correctly) was kind and made great conversation with me. It was my first time here and certainly won't be my last. This is a great place to go to get your nails done. Hope to be back soon. I'm glad to see them opened up and busy. This salon was recommended by a friend who gets her nails done here so we decided to try pedicures to get a feel of the salon. While they don't have a parking lot you should be able to find a spot on the street somewhere. I can't say that they're overly friendly here either. While we did not get gel pedicures they brought over samples of nail polish colors so we could choose our color. Our nail techs were okay with cleaning around the nails, cuticles etc but here's the best part. My nail tech put some oil on my legs and feet and I'm thinking okay this is the best part of the pedicure, the massage. She puts the oil on then rolls my pant legs back down. Huh? The person that I was with was sitting right next to me and just looked at me -- they couldn't believe it. Two minutes later her nail tech does the exact same thing. No massage at all. Have you ever had a pedicure where you didn't get a massage? I don't care what type of pedicure you get or how much you spend on one, you always get a massage. What a disappointment - for what I got it was basically a polish change. They have literally no drying station at all so I have no idea where you're supposed to go if you're getting a regular manicure and need to dry. There is only one chair in the front of the salon so one of us sat there and we pulled up another chair from one of the nail stations. They had 2 dusty drying machines under the chair so a male nail tech (who I suspect may be one of the salon owners) pulled them out and we sat there drying. But one of the machines didn't work -- the fans kept stopping. We kept trying to fix it ourself but should we have to do that? You would think that knowing there was a problem with one of the machines they would keep an eye on us to see if it continued to happen but they didn't -- we had to keep interrupting them asking if they could help. The male nail tech would occasionally come over, press a couple of buttons and the machine would start working for a minute then it would stop again. Go to another salon in the area -- there are plenty of choices. read more

I went to Lavish nails last week for a gel manicure. I thought they did a really nice job and was hopeful that I found a new nail spot. I was wrong. I came back today, they day after Thanksgiving and all the chairs were occupied. I even brought a friend along since I had a good experience. We waited 20 mins then 3 other ppl came in who had appointments which means they can't take us. No one said anything to us. We decided to leave and then the woman closest to the door/register said she thought we had an appt. Did you even ask? Anytime you enter a nail salon they immediately ask what service you are looking for but these ppl couldn't be bothered. Maybe they should brushen up on their customer service. read more

Been coming here since August and always have the best experience! Emily is patient and always works with me seeing as I am a picky person lol. I love that they go by appointments only because I never have to wait and I can schedule my appointments ahead of time to fit around my work schedule.
