Literally the worst customer service I ever experienced with a nail salon. The owner or manager was so rude and literally laughed on the phone as I'm trying to talk to him and he kept saying " I don't get your point". I came in to get my nails done and I called over the phone to see how much it'll be. The person on the phone quoted me $45 and so I made an appointment to come in. Then when I arrived the lady who started doing my nails kept touching my nails, then her phone, then back to my nails then back to texting here and there which I thought was not only odd was but extremely unsanitary and unprofessional. Then once my nails finished and I went up to pay and the same guy I spoke on the phone with quotes me $65... like what?? Why is it $20 more?? He says oh you got chrome. I'm like I said on the phone I want pink, chrome, medium, almond shaped nails and you said $45. Then he changes the story and goes oh it's your length. At this point I knew he was going to haggle me one way or another so I just paid and left. Then fast forward 2 weeks later I noticed my nail lifted a bit so I removed them. Upon removing it I saw that the entire nail bed was infected and so I called the salon back. Mind you I've been getting my nails done for YEARS and this has never happened before. I spoke with the same guy who happens to be either the manager or owner and kept laughing and saying "I don't get your point" as I'm explaining it to him. He's like oh you waited too long in between that's why that happened. I'm like 2 weeks isn't that long and this is all because of your staffs unsanitary practices that you allow to happen aka no gloves, touching everything without disinfecting properly and etc. He's like I don't know what to tell you there's nothing we can do besides clean the nails. Then as I explain that's not a fix he laughs again and goes I don't know what the problem is and I don't get your point lady. I'm like MY NAIL IS INFECTED FROM YOUR SALON. He goes I don't get your point. At this point I'm so frustrated and I hang up. This man clearly doesn't care about his customers he just wants to make a quick buck even if it means haggling you or putting customers at a health risk. Never again will I step into this salon and I urge others not to either.

Visiting the area and looked up a place close by. Got exceptional service . The place is beautiful and clean. And my fall nails are beyond repair why I expect. Highly recommended!!!

For over 2.5 years, I had been schlepping all the way back to West Orange, about 20-25 minutes each way depending on traffic, just to get my nails done. Sometimes I would even schedule it on the weekends and stay at my parents' house to make it easier. Finally, on February 17th, I decided to bite the bullet and find somewhere closer. I started doing some research and calling around to see what different salons would charge for a UV gel fill-in. My nails were in desperate need of being done -- the last time I had them done was literally two months ago . Most of the quotes I received were on the higher end. They were still less than what I had been paying at my previous salon, but you also have to remember to factor in tip, which adds up. When I called Victory Nails & Spa, their quote was lower than the others, so I thought, why not give it a try? What can go wrong? I made an appointment and decided to check it out. When I walked in, the salon felt clean, calm, and quiet, especially for a Tuesday at 3pm, which I really appreciated. I like to be able to relax, feel zen, and enjoy the full experience when getting my nails done. As soon as I arrived, Annie handed me the color books -- and wow, there were a lot of options. It took me a while because I am very indecisive, but Annie was extremely patient, which I was grateful for. Once I chose my first color, Annie got to work. She was gentle with my hands and very pleasant. She made some conversation, asking what I did for a living and where I lived, which I liked. What I appreciated most, though, was that she read the room really well. When she saw I was relaxing, she let me relax. When I talked or asked questions, she responded and engaged. That balance is exactly what I prefer -- I like to talk on my own time without feeling pressured. When it came time for polish, Annie put the color on one nail first and asked if I liked it, which I thought was great. After seeing it, I realized it was too neon for me. I wanted something softer and more muted, similar to "Pink Slippers" (a shade I remembered from years ago). She immediately went to find another option. The second color was closer, but she could see I still wasn't completely happy. Instead of getting frustrated -- and yes, I admit I can be a little picky -- she patiently brought another option. The third color was the one, and it came out exactly how I wanted. Overall, it was a great experience. Annie was patient, attentive, and clearly cares about making sure her clients leave happy. I will definitely be going back and would absolutely recommend Victory Nails & Spa to anyone looking for a good nail salon.

I did the victory spa treatment and my friend did the green tea spa treatment. The vibe was great, they were busy with customers, but it was quite quiet in the nail salon. There was pop music playing in the background. The nail salon is in a plaza and I liked how secluded it was. It was a bit of a drive for myself and my friend but I felt it was worth it. The techs were Spanish ladies and were both friendly. I felt relaxed and enjoyed my foot massage. I got a gel manicure while my friend got a regular manicure. I would definitely come back for their great service. I paid with my credit card and tipped in cash. 10/10 nail salon recommendation in Parsippany, NJ

I might be wrong). I was getting a gel manicure and needed to have the old gel buzzed/smoothed off first. Lawdy - was I a hot mess when I heard that drill. At first, the husband started my manicure (they can get super busy), and saw I was freaking out with the drill. I've had bad experiences at other salons when nail techs either don't pay attention or don't care, and too many times I've had my skin buzzed. NOT fun! So yeah, I'm a bit traumatized. Anyway, he was super nice but I was crying and sweating so the wife stepped in. She was super nice and explained that the filing down was necessary and she didn't want my nails to get spoiled. She was attentive with that drilly filer and everything was nicely evened out. Then I got Annie. Annie was looking at each nail, clipping as needed. THIS is the attention to detail you want during a manicure. She really took the time to make sure I got an even, healthy and beautiful manicure. When we talked design, she explained pricing to me clearly and was able to do many designs. Just check out her handy work! I told her, I found my nail person! (Yay for me!)

I got a gel mani-pedi, with blue French on my toes and I got a cute design on the nails. This design wasn't necessarily difficult but it could easily be "messed up" due to it having a lot of details (I added the inspo photo for reference). So I like them but I don't love them, which I kind of expected, only because from afar they look gorgeous but when you look closer the details look a little wonky. The nail tech, Vanessa, did a wonderful job with them with the skills she had and I applaud her for all that she did. She was trying her best and asked me for my opinion on them several times to make sure that they were coming out the way that I wanted. They are beautiful nonetheless. I think all or most of the technicians should learn different techniques for intricate styles, such as this, given if some or most of their customer population liked things like that. I also thought that the price was appropriate for how intricate they were ($60) but what threw me for a loop was how expensive my toes were for just a French ($55). But I'm still happy with how they turned out! Requested style: The style I requested was rather intricate in details and they did a very good job overall 4/5 stars (80% equivalent) :) Cleanliness: They were extremely clean with disinfected tools per customer and I even saw a customer ask if their tools were sterilized and if the pedicure bath was clean and fresh. The technician went out of their way to explain what they do and how they do it. Stylist: Vanessa was the technician who was doing my manicure and she was very sweet and courteous. I'm not sure of the name of the technician who did my toes but she was quiet, still sweet, and courteous though.
