My absolute favorite nail place in New Jersey! Linda and her staff go above and beyond to ensure you feel comfortable and welcome. The salon interior is very well kept, cozy and clean. The prices are extremely reasonable, but above all, Linda and her staff are what really make this place special. My manicure always looks great - highly reccomended!

Nail Bank is a highly professional, welcoming, and high-quality nail salon! I am thoroughly impressed each visit to the care and attention to detail demonstrated by the staff. I take my elderly mother-in law who is over 80 and they make her feel like a queen every time. What a welcoming environment; not to mention the massage they give you while they do your nails! Heaven!! I have had a hard time keeping my nails beautiful, since I am very rough, but since I have been getting them done at Nailbank, they are beautiful and long-lasting!

    Manicure by Nail Bank. Beautiful

I've been going to the Nail Bank for years. Always friendly and always great service! I highly recommend Nail Bank for all your mani pedi needs!!

I came here for the first time to get a gel manicure, I decided to come here because they opened a little earlier than some other places. The place itself is a little run down, although that didn't particularly bother me. What caught my attention was the tools they used seemed dusty and dirty. Also the paper towel they had me place my hands on had someone else's nail polish on it, Not the end of the world either but kind of gross. I told the woman that did my nails that one of my nails split and asked about fixing it, as well as fixing one of my nails that broke that I clipped (I wanted it to be fixed so that it matched the length of my other nails.) she fixed my first nail and maybe did not understand me about the second nail needing to be extended to match the others. When she proceeded to put a clear coat on my nails I asked about my second nail again, she had one of the other employees fix it and after she started applying the extension she told me that she will charge me for each nail to be fixed. Now mind as I mentioned before this was my first time coming here, so I would have like to have been informed about the costs of fixing my nails before they proceeded with it. They said they usually charge $5 per each nail that need to be repaired. I ended up having to pay $7 extra but they did not even make my nails even, as shown in the picture, the shape is super cockeyed and the nail that was extended, there is glue stuck from underneath to my skin... I also asked for a glitter fade, I showed her a picture but that was not what I got The reason I don't give 1 star is because she gave me a really nice 2 minute massage

First time pedi/mani was OK, second time horrible. I was very disappointed not going back again. What I got is not a professional manicure/pedicure. Hang nails with polish over it and nail polish chipped the very next morning.

If you're thinking about getting a gift certificate from here I would ask what the policy is. I was…read moregiven a gift certificate from a friend for my birthday that expired a week after it was given to me and didn't know that when I went to use it in November. They didn't tell me it was expired while I was there, let me use half of it, then crossed out the expiration date and made it a date in expire 10/30/25. I was unaware they back-dated it because I was in a hurry to put it in my pocket since I was in rush. Fast forward to today, I went to use it and obviously it wasn't honored because of that new date. I understand that it expired and of course I'm fine not using it since it's completely my fault. It was just the most bizarre experience because 1. No one mentioned it was expired the first time I was there (which I would have been fine paying for my pedicure if someone explained that to me instead writing in a new date so couldn't use it again) Also I'm just not sure why they would give me back a gift certificate that I can't use anymore or never mention that it was expired. 2. What kind of place has a 1 week or 1 month expiration date? (Thinking about it I'm wondering if it the date a typo since it was handwritten because most places around here have a 1 year expiration date when I buy them or am gifted them.) Also my nails were different lengths and the polish I used developed white spots on top (it was a light purple) With so many wonderful places in Montclair, I would definitely consider buying a gift certificate somewhere else with a longer expiration date, a more clear policy, or somewhere that will take the time to explain these dates and policies if you have an issue like I did if you are looking to purchase a gift.

I might be wrong). I was getting a gel manicure and needed to have the old gel buzzed/smoothed off first. Lawdy - was I a hot mess when I heard that drill. At first, the husband started my manicure (they can get super busy), and saw I was freaking out with the drill. I've had bad experiences at other salons when nail techs either don't pay attention or don't care, and too many times I've had my skin buzzed. NOT fun! So yeah, I'm a bit traumatized. Anyway, he was super nice but I was crying and sweating so the wife stepped in. She was super nice and explained that the filing down was necessary and she didn't want my nails to get spoiled. She was attentive with that drilly filer and everything was nicely evened out. Then I got Annie. Annie was looking at each nail, clipping as needed. THIS is the attention to detail you want during a manicure. She really took the time to make sure I got an even, healthy and beautiful manicure. When we talked design, she explained pricing to me clearly and was able to do many designs. Just check out her handy work! I told her, I found my nail person! (Yay for me!)

I got a gel mani-pedi, with blue French on my toes and I got a cute design on the nails. This design wasn't necessarily difficult but it could easily be "messed up" due to it having a lot of details (I added the inspo photo for reference). So I like them but I don't love them, which I kind of expected, only because from afar they look gorgeous but when you look closer the details look a little wonky. The nail tech, Vanessa, did a wonderful job with them with the skills she had and I applaud her for all that she did. She was trying her best and asked me for my opinion on them several times to make sure that they were coming out the way that I wanted. They are beautiful nonetheless. I think all or most of the technicians should learn different techniques for intricate styles, such as this, given if some or most of their customer population liked things like that. I also thought that the price was appropriate for how intricate they were ($60) but what threw me for a loop was how expensive my toes were for just a French ($55). But I'm still happy with how they turned out! Requested style: The style I requested was rather intricate in details and they did a very good job overall 4/5 stars (80% equivalent) :) Cleanliness: They were extremely clean with disinfected tools per customer and I even saw a customer ask if their tools were sterilized and if the pedicure bath was clean and fresh. The technician went out of their way to explain what they do and how they do it. Stylist: Vanessa was the technician who was doing my manicure and she was very sweet and courteous. I'm not sure of the name of the technician who did my toes but she was quiet, still sweet, and courteous though.
