It was 9:45 so I gave it a shot and called. A nice woman picked up the phone & said she was booked for the day. But if I could get there within 20 she'd fit me in. Apparently, VA is still the south, and super disconnected from everything, because the owner, Mennie, told us it was best to get SNS. The gel we get back home, isn't the same as in NJ. I had gotten SNS before, back home and was thoroughly disgusted to pay $65 for a full set of too-thick, bubbly nails. Needless to say, I was hesitant to try again, but also left with little options. I mean. I had chosen the place because of the Yelp reviews, so I guess I should trust the work... It was a great decision. Mennie took her time, and her work is ah-mazing. Clipped my cuticles, no pain. Quick and efficient. Even like 3 other employees stood and watched. My coffin is perfect, the ombré she suggested makes me feel like the stars are on my nails. She was really attentive to my preferences and made sure to meet them as best she could. Standard pedi, but once again, I was impressed by the attention to detail. The staff was helpful and polite. They helped mom and I choose colors while we got our pedis done. The shop's atmosphere was pleasant, very relaxing and nicely decorated. But most importantly, this shop is cleeeaaannn. I saw no dust anywhere. They were sweeping while we were there, and they use single-use liners for the pedis. For two pedis, and two SNS (one nail repair) the total was $130. Bottom line: I now have a shop in NJ. Reasonable prices, awesome work, and a clean, friendly environment. Do yourself a favor, and drop by. You won't regret it. I didn't.

The atmosphere is relaxing. There aren't too many people here when I've gone (4pm on a Monday). The manicurist who did my nails has always done a good job and has always been very nice. I've not gotten a pedicure here before, but manicures have always been good and they give massages at the end of them. When my ankle isn't injured, I"ll be back and see how they do with pedicures.
