I'm disappointed with my 1st time experience at this salon. The day before our appointments, me and my friend called to confirm appointment times AND prices and were told one thing over the phone--only to be charged way more when we got there. It felt very misleading and unprofessional. On top of that, the tech who worked on my friend was extremely rough and actually made her cuticles bleed. That should never happen during a basic gel fill service. Overall, the poor communication and lack of care made this visit really frustrating. Though the service results were nice, we definitely won't be returning. read more

Hi everyone!! I highly recommend Blooming Nail salon. The salon is beautiful! It's the only place I go. Great mani pedis... it's easy to make an appointment, finally they work quickly, you won't keep you there forever! Go!! read more

this is one of the worst places I have been to in Caldwell. Since the new owner took over it has turned to shit. it is no longer clean, they treat you like crap, make you feel bad about getting anything done. Getting your brows done is half backwards when home noticed all the hairs still sticking up. WTF - Had a gift card it was dated 11/1/2024- tried to use for 12/2/2025 They said NO and torn it up before I can say a word. Been sending my mom to this place. this was the last straw. will pass the word never to go back to this place. Too many others in Caldwell that are so much better. read more

I've been to a ton of nail salons on bloomfield Ave in Caldwell and I must say this one takes the cake! It was my first time today, my mom and I came for pedicures. Our basic pedicures were long, done extremely well and came out beautiful. We got their rewards card and will be coming back in two weeks. Glad I found this new spot! Thanks Blooming Nails! read more

Blooming Nails - Caldwell - Basic pedicure done very well - Nail Salons Near Me - Caldwell, New Jersey

Got my nails done on Wednesday. Making an appointment was super easy and the owner is very friendly. What I liked about the salon was the different colors they have. I can never find a salon with the right color nudes or pinks. The nail tech took her time and made sure my nails were done evenly. read more

I have only GREAT things to say about Blooming Nails. I have went to many places to get my nails done and Blooming Nails by far is a keeper. The establishment is always clean, neat & orderly. I never have a problem making an appointment with my favorite nail technician Libbia. She takes great pride in doing the best mani&pedi I have ever received. All of the woman are great professionals and acknowledge you the minute you walk in the door. I highly recommend Blooming Nails to anyone looking for a great nail salon. read more

Did not have a good experience, my nails were cut and shaped very unevenly and i was extremely disappointed. I had to pay to put a tip on one nail that was cut extremely too short and my natural nails were ruined. When I got home i noticed the dip powder was already cracking. Will not be returning. read more

Caution - some of the nail techs here are good but some are not. Kathy is decent but last time I had Rosa and she was awful. Very rough when filing and cutting cuticles. Almost every finger was bleeding after and they still hurt days later. Not to mention the nails were all uneven / crooked even after I asked her to fix them (see photo of crooked thumb nail). They are not shaped square as I had asked but were more rounded. I wouldn't come back here again. read more

Terrible experience. Would not recommend. Not clean. Manicurist did not respond to my concerns.

Was visiting from out of town and in need of a pedicure... real bad. I walked to this place (very conveniently located). I received a regular spa pedicure. Atmosphere was great, the techs were very pleasant and nice. I had to wait a little bit but wasn't bad. My whole experience was awesome read more

Great service and quality . Clean salon and friendly staff . Prices reasonable. Accommodating we other appointments

I was visiting from out of town this past weekend and looked for good reviews here on Yelp. I found this salon and was happy that they could take me at the end of the day. The salon was clean and organized and the staff was very friendly. The dip manicure was excellent and there was great attention paid to preparing my cuticles and nail bed for the new dip. I would go back here whenever in town as well as recommend it to all my neighbors who still live in the area. read more

Excellent pedicure! They were very kind and made sure that it was exactly the way we wanted.

I wanted to like this place. It's close to home and they have Asian women doing nails. So I walked in after going to two other salons same street and I asked if they can do a certain nail design. So someone finally said yes. I was excited. It was my bday so o wanted to treat myself. First they said gel nail is like $33. But with my design request it was going to be more since my nails were short. I said ok. What's a little more money. Long story short after 2 1/2 hr of already upset with the tech my nails came out horrible and I paid $95. The design looks like a kid did it. I can go on telling more of my story but I don't want to get upset. Manager or owner said come back to fix it. I said ok. Come to think about it. Why do that. I wasted valuable time and to come back in two weeks to spend god knows how much. No I asked for a refund. She said $40. No lady. Idk how much you spent or lost. I lost time too! read more

Very clean and friendly service! Was a walk in and was promptly assisted. They also have a rewards program!

Went to Blooming Nails for the first time today and I will definitely make this my new go-to nail salon. It was clean, modern and cozy. Rosa did a great job on my mani-pedi. My friend who was with me was very happy with her nails too! Got an appointment quickly too! read more

I really wanted to like this place but I am so disappointed with my experience. I made an appointment the morning of for 630 that evening. I got to the salon and they claimed I canceled my appointment (which I did not). The lady didn't believe me so was digging through the caller ID to prove her point which she wasn't able to do. I am giving one star because they did take me but the manicure is horrible. I asked the technician to remove my tips and just work with my natural nails. She didn't/wouldn't after I asked her three times. My nails are different lengths, stubby and too thick. I am going to another place today (three days after) to get them done again. read more

I've been coming here for years, and my family was a client of Kathy's before she opened her own salon. From the minute I walked in I could tell that no one wanted to do my pedicure, acting as if they were super busy with one client in the salon. My pedicurist then began complaining about me to her coworker in Spanish, I assume they thought I wouldn't understand, but alas, I, like most people speak enough Spanish to know an insult. She then began to complain to Sara, out loud and in front of me that my service is taking too long because I asked for callus remover and new polish. Personally I think that's pretty standard for a pedicure. I asked if there was an issue as it was beyond obvious I was an issue for yh and not wanted there, and they just looked at me and smiled. I said never mind to my manicure because I couldn't wait to leave. Kathy was not in today, and I hope this is not how clients are treated when the owner is absent. I will not be returning, and neither will the other members of my family. I am beyond disappointed. read more

This salon is beautiful. The staff are friendly.. gel manicure is 30 and a regular pedicure is 20 which isn't bad. I really love how my nails turned out!!!! They took their time and it was an awesome experience overall. They also have a rewards program, which is the first salon I've ever seen do that. Awesome job!!! This was one of the worst experiences of my life !! The employees look And behave miserable. I came in for a pedi and my friend has a mani and pedi. The employee who was working on me didn't even soak my feet she started the pedi right away and when I would ask for her to let my feet soak she gave me the most evil side eye !! Don't trust these reviews they give people 5$ to leave a good review ! read more

I love Blooming Nails. It is so clean and everyone is very friendly. Sarah does a beautiful gel manicure. She is a real perfectionist. Livia does a lovely pedicure with a great massage. I highly recommend Blooming Nails. read more

Please don't go to this salon if you are Black or a minority. They straight up discriminate. Despite the salon being open and multiple techs being free, they turn away Black customers making up stuff about needing to clean the salon early. Please go anywhere else unless you want to be treated with discrimination and lies. read more

If I could give this salon 0 stars I would. I went for a dip powder manicure which cost $40. Between destroying my cuticles during my mani, the nail tech being so rough on my nails and one nail chipping within 2 days - I will NEVER go back. Save your money and go somewhere else! read more

I highly recommend Blooming Nails. I've had two gel manicures recently both by Olivia. She's also given me a pedicure. She takes great care in her work. She always asks if the length and shape is correct, and before she starts with the color applies it to one nail to ask if I'm happy with it. Everyone who works there is super friendly. They are very respectful of Covid and wear masks. The location is great and the salon is very clean. There are a lot of nail salons to choose from and they are by far one of my favorites. read more

I've been going here for years & they do good work overall. My only issue is that the girls (workers not management) are very cold & distant. It would be nice (and help get more business & tips) if they were friendlier. They barely talk or even make eye contact with the customers. It makes people very uncomfortable. They should at least try to act like they want to be there & try to be more professional by interacting with the customers more. read more

They charged me an extra $5 per nail for a design that looked like a dot (it was supposed to be a heart) they were obviously rushing to do this which I didn't appreciate. Kathy was the one that did them and since she was rushing she just placed the design in spots that did not match the other hand. Then they apparently raised their prices now. I had to pay $50 for nails that I could've honestly done myself at home and it probably would've looked better. read more

Loved my nails, very friendly and great selection of colors. Was able to get an appointment fast.!

The BEST manicure! My gel lasted 3 full weeks perfectly. The salon was pristine and felt very safe. Definitely will be back!

This was my first visit to Blooming Nails for a pedicure. I find the place very pleasant and affordable. The pedicure was great. I liked that there was not an extended leg massage, but I think you can extend it for a fee. They have lots of nice and reasonably priced add ons. I going to comeback and try some. Hot stone, callus removal etc. Highly recommend. read more
