Didn't do a good job at all. Anything I asked for that I'm typically use to getting with a pedicure the response was only in spa pedicures. My husbands pedicure was like 10 min long. We also did manicures both me and my husband were done in 15 min. Very rushed job. The owner did our manicures acted like she was cutting my cuticles they were literally hanging and stuck in the nail Polish. She seemed annoyed every time I asked her to fully cut the cuticle and repaint it. The nail Polish is already chipping and it hasn't been a full 24 hours. I don't recommend this place.

Here's a thoughtfully written review based on your experience--honest, respectful, and clear:…read more Review for Sun Nails - Little Falls, NJ I had been a loyal customer at Sun Nails for almost two years--always respectful, always consistent. Unfortunately, my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed and I will not be returning. I arrived about 8 minutes late due to traffic, but I was promptly seated and the technician began removing the gel from my nails. A few minutes into my service, the owner--who had originally seated me--asked me to get up so another woman (who had come in after me) could take my seat. When I asked why, I was told it was "because of the vent." However, the new customer was getting the exact same gel manicure I was receiving, so the excuse made little sense. To add insult to injury, I was told to move to a station cluttered with junk and visibly less prepared. The entire situation felt dismissive, disrespectful, and quite frankly, racially charged. I'm usually the only Black woman in the salon, and the favoritism shown to another customer--who arrived later--was hard to ignore. While I would never return to Sun Nails after this experience, I'm grateful it led me to BLANC Nail Boutique, a new spot with immaculate service, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-tier professionalism. Highly recommend checking them out instead.

I have been going to this nail salon for almost a year and have actually always enjoyed the service…read morethere. The girls that work there are great it's a nice salon. I got my first set of acrylic tips and nails a few weeks ago. I went this past Sunday to get a fill in and there are apparently only a couple of techs in this salon do acrylic nails. The girl that did my nails was not the person that normally does my gel manicures. The manager/owner assured me that this nail tech was very good. When I sat down I told her that I did not want gel on top of my acrylic because I noticed she had a bottle of gel nail color and she said OK. Then she told me it was going to be $70 for a fill-in and I almost fell out of my chair. I've never paid more than $30-$40 tops. I asked her again are you sure you charge $70 for a regular acrylic nail fill and she said yes. I didn't want to cause a scene so I just sat there and let her do my nails at a premium which is ridiculous. Plus she put gel on my nails after I specifically told her I did not want it. She had quite an attitude with me as well. I really should have requested a refund or gotten up and left but I didn't. So after almost a year of having pleasant experiences I will no longer go to this salon. To have been charged that amount of money for a simple fill in is ludicrous and they should understand that there are nail salons pretty much on every corner that people can choose to go to. Good luck!!

She was sweet and patient and took her time showing me the colors on my nails and on hers. I decided on choosing a pink hue with a gold accent on my ring fingers. The girl began painting my nails and curing on the polish, which we know can take some time. I didn't have much time to sit around, so when she forgot to paint my accent nail gold, I couldn't have her reverse it. Okay, not a big deal. I was more disappointed then than I ought to be, but I got over it. I got my nails done last week before vacation and was hoping that they'd remain intact for my first day at my new job on Monday. However, almost all of the polish has chipped, and a few of my nails are broken. Now, in the grand scheme of things, chipped and broken nails are far from catastrophic. OWNER/EMPLOYEE WILL HUMILIATE YOU IN FRONT OF WHOLE STORE FOR "NOT TIPPING."…read more Speaking for my girlfriend. Completely unacceptable and honestly one of the most disrespectful experiences at any business. The male owner loudly berated my girlfriend in front of the entire store for "not tipping," while she was literally in the process of paying and about to leave one. Instead of acting professionally, he chose to embarrass her publicly over something he didn't even bother to confirm. Mind you, he was not even the tech or the one cashing the money. It was aggressive, humiliating, and completely out of line. No customer should ever be put on the spot like that, especially over a voluntary tip. This wasn't a misunderstanding, it was a deliberate decision to shame a customer in front of others. If this is how the owner treats people, it says everything you need to know about this place. I would strongly caution anyone thinking about coming here, there are plenty of businesses that actually respect their customers. They will probably claim this never happened, per usual. But the customers there who heard everything can vouch. She also did pay 20% tip BTW.
