Completely unacceptable and honestly one of the most disrespectful experiences at any business. The male owner loudly berated my girlfriend in front of the entire store for "not tipping," while she was literally in the process of paying and about to leave one. Instead of acting professionally, he chose to embarrass her publicly over something he didn't even bother to confirm. Mind you, he was not even the tech or the one cashing the money. It was aggressive, humiliating, and completely out of line. No customer should ever be put on the spot like that, especially over a voluntary tip. This wasn't a misunderstanding, it was a deliberate decision to shame a customer in front of others. If this is how the owner treats people, it says everything you need to know about this place. I would strongly caution anyone thinking about coming here, there are plenty of businesses that actually respect their customers. They will probably claim this never happened, per usual. Went in for a pedi yesterday. Was given to a guy who rushed through so quickly he hurt me twice where I said 'ouch' so loud and he said sorry without even looking up at me then did it again. The lousy 5 min massage he stared out the window and just kept rubbing the same spot and stopped twice and set the timer before he even got the lotion ready. They confirmed $10/ manicure for the girls PRIOR to the service, then DOUBLED the cost post service at the register. As the woman was ringing us up at $10/ manicure, the owner approached her, said something in another language and when I looked back down the cost doubled ($40). The woman said he was charging each girl a $10 design fee, doubling the cost of the manicure. When I attempted to address him, he looked down and ignored me...refused to acknowledge me. While the service here is actually good, especially compared to other nail salons in the area, they are very inconsistent about taking walk ins. I don't mind waiting but this is the third time I've been turned away from a walk in appointment (and have gotten walk ins on other occasions) without being given the option to wait. This inconsistency makes them not a viable option half the time (sometimes you don't always know enough to make an appointment in advance! I had the gel on one nail come nearly fully off - I couldn't plan for that), it's really ridiculous. 5* for actual mail services, 2* for inconsistent policies. I went today after going to a place near work that was just okay. When I left AA Nails today i was SO happy. Kenny did an amazing job and he is so meticulous with his work. My nails have never looked so good. I got powder/SNS. He took his time and gave suggestions on my nail color choice that ended up being perfect for what I was looking for! I will be moving further south soon but will be making the drive to come back whenever I need my nails done again. Aside from Nails, they have done an amazing job with covid rules and regulations. If I could rate a zero I would my regular place closed and I went here on a recommendation, I had the $35 gel nails and within two visits my nails were peeling, breaking etc.. so I went in to have the gel removed and the lady took all the layers of my nails down to the last one it has been a month and my hands are still horrible. My doctor told me about five months until the nail bed begins to fully grow back so in the meantime I have to trim to the quick so the don't keep peeling. This is my second time coming for a pedicure. First time was amazing! Granted this time I did not have any appointment. The young person giving my pedicure quite obviously has never given one before! Had absolutely NO idea what he was doing. Not his fault but would have preferred they sent me away then to sit through and pay for a service that did not come close to what I paid for. Had no idea how to trim cuticles push back nail beds or remove calluses. I just couldn't wait for it to end. I'm in the service industry and I know how difficult it can be. I base my experience on a few things: 1. A clean well done pedicure 2. A attentive nail tech that knows what he/she is doing and listens to my requests 3. A good massage as it is just as important as the pedicure itself. This salon is clean. I was able to walk right in and sat right down at a pedicure station. My nail tech was very aloof. At first I thought it was the language barrier which I am very understanding of considering I speak a few languages and know how it feels to not be able to communicate fully. However that was not the case. As she proceeded with the service her technique was not professional. She didn't know what to do when using the callus remover and didn't complete the process. Then.... came time for the massage, she was just rubbing my legs - the same motion for 15 minutes. Half way through the massage, her phone rang and she answered it. As she was talking I looked at her and she apologized and hung up. Then, instead of putting the phone away she began to check her text messages with one hand and continue the massage with the other. Then.... her phone rang again. SHE ANSWERED IT. I stopped her and told her to take care of the phone before she continued with my service I was paying for. I've been to this salon before and they were pretty good. They offer you a water and they're super nice. For the first time I got acrylics and I was a little disappointed. They ended up being so thick and uneven. When the man was drilling my nails he wasn't being careful and cut my cuticles several times which you can see in the picture. I showed him the design I wanted before we started and he said okay but after he put the tips on and base color he wasn't too sure that he could do it. He did a decent job at recreating the design but the lines are very uneven. It was $50 for a new set of acrylics and an extra $20 for the design. If the total is $30+ and you pay with cash you get a discount. I ended up paying $63 instead of $70. read more

I have went to Aa nails twice to try to give them the benefit of the doubt and I will not be returning. I have went to get a gel manicure, I have done both polish and powder so I really liked that they had the option of both services at a reasonable price. When I first walked in I LOVED how clean and spacious it was. I am not a planner, so being able to walk in and wait a bit was a plus as well! When I get my nails done, I look for a a place that is clean, decently priced, quick, and will last for 3-4 weeks. I recently moved and the previous place I was getting my nails done put a hardener on my nail that the woman doing my nail had a hard time getting off. I completely understood that this was something that might take a bit longer than I am used to. Once she finically got the polish off, I explained to her that my one nail cracked and I don't care what shape or length my nails are, I just want them all the same. This was not the case, the one was crooked and shorter and when I got home I noticed a few nails were different lengths. I was in the salon for a good 2 hours!! I am used to being in the salon for 30-40 mins. This was extremely excessive, but I tried to be understanding about the hardener on my nails that was previously there. About 2 weeks later I was outside doing gardening work and the polish was lifting. I decided to go back to give them a second chance even though it was an excessive amount of time and in my eyes the manicure didn't last. Come to my second visit, the technician could again not get the polish off my nails. I tried to explain to him how to do it and he continued his way, he's the professional so I just went with it. Then he evened all my nails out which I was grateful for. This was still a long process I would say an hour and a half... he lastly told me to go wash my hands. When I came back from washing my hands my nails were all messed up, when I told him he said I messed them up and then corrected himself and said they weren't dry. He filed them and put the top coat of polish on, when I looked at my nails there were specks from him filing my nails down and not dipping them in powder again. When I mentioned it to him, he told me that is how the polish was. I asked him to please dip it in blue again and he said it would be the same and to pick a different color. I told him I did not have time to sit here again through this process at this time as I was already there for 2 hours and that I would come back later. At this time other technicians came over and were speaking in their language. I made an appt. to come back later in the day and thankfully someone else did my nails and dipped it in the color again and everything worked out- just as I suggested earlier in the day. My instinct was to go back to the gentleman who fixed my nails, but now here I am 2 weeks later and the nail polish chipped on one nail and the sparkly white color on my ring finger is yellow... I am not a smoker and never was- but it looks as if I am with the way the nail color has changed. I am completely disappointed! read more

Never again would I come here nor do I suggest it. I paid $60 for terrible full gel set. I asked for a certain design and it took two hours to come out terrible. After three days, three of my nails broke. I went to get it fixed along with a color change because the painting was sloppy which they charged me $15 for. My nails came out decent but two days later one of my nails that they fixed is breaking yet again. Keep in mind, I just got the full set on the schedule 15th and it is now the 23rd.
