My gel manicure was very good and my pedicure was very good. However, the manicurist was barking orders at me in a very rude and disrespectful way. At first, I thought it was a one-off, but she did it like 3 times because she didn't like the way I put my hands in the uv thing I guess? (I was really nice about it, but probably should have told her to knock it off). Next, I have another lady for the pedicure who was also very rude to me when I was placing my feet wrong on the rack? Both of these women were not hispanic. I point this out only because I've had nothing but pleasant experiences with the hispanic women who work there. I don't do manicures and pedicures very often, but I've never been talked down to like this. I don't know what they were saying to each other, but it seemed to be about me and it was not complimentary. Only when I paid in cash and gave a generous tip, did they suddenly become extremely nice. I have been coming to Nailtime for many years & always received excellent service & always recommend them to others.. Today the team demonstrated a wonderful act of kindness- that was a true reflection of who they are. A 3 year old was outside with her grandmother waiting for her mom who was at a doctor's appointment. The little girl was crying for her mom. The Nailtime invited the little girl in for a manicure. She stopped crying instantly. They let her pick a color & did her nails. She showed everyone at the salon her beautiful nails & was so happy. All at no charge. Such a beautiful act of kindness! I have not been to a nail saloon in a very long time and left feeling extremely happy with the overall service. Great care was taken with my feet and I certainly did not feel rushed out. The basic pedicure entails cleaning, a beautiful scented milk bath, a wonderful foot massage with hands and a heated stone. And while my feet was drying a wonderful shoulder massage. I saw how the staff took their time cleaning and removing cuticles from each customers feet including mine which is something a lot of the nail saloon do not take time to do. So in my book they will have a customer for life!!! I was even told when I was leaving if for any reason I am not happy with the job done on my feet feel free to come back and they will fix it. Now please tell me how many nail salons give a customer that offer!!??? I also noticed how the owner or manager interacted with the staff. You can honestly tell they treat their staff like family. The atmosphere here is unpleasant. My go to place is Ceci Nails but they were closed. I desperately needed my nails done so I came here. I regret it My gel manicure was rushed. Didn't receive a hand massage or back massage while getting mine done. The lady asked me if I want extra strengthening coating which I agreed upon. When I paid at the end, she told me it was extra $5! What?! That bottle itself is like $3. while filing my nails, the lady was filing around my nails aka IN THE skin as well.. absolutely painful. Despite this, I gave her a generous tip even though she did a poor job. No thank you or gesture. Stay away.. Also I heard the workers mumbling and complaining about their employees. I typically don't write reviews, but yesterday's visit was a horrible experience. I have been here many times and have recommended this place to many people, but NEVER again. They treat their employees horribly. The girl who was doing my pedicure was GREAT. The owner then had another employee tell her to leave me so she could do my massage. The original girl was clearly upset and ready to cry. They then made her come back to polish my nails. Like that was "beneath" the other person to do. I felt horrible and there was no relaxation. It was so uncomfortable. I spoke to the owner and said what she did wasn't very nice. She said she didn't think the original girl was giving a good massage. I told her that she was doing a great job and I was unhappy with how they treated her. I hope they change their attitude and treat employees better. So disappointed! read more

I have been getting my nails done here for years. The salon is very clean, they sanitize their tools properly and provide an excellent service. They make sure I am happy with my nails every time I get them done. They are very welcoming and always happy to see me. Sometimes the salon will get busy - that is why I like to make an appointment - I have never been disappointed. I'm giving two stars for the pedicure but that's about it. The nail polish on my toes was difficult to get off and I felt bad about it to begin with, then the lady doing my pedicure kept giving attitude and making comments about it to me and the other staff which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Then I got my nails done afterwards, which also was not great. The shape of my nails is horrific and the price was absolutely absurd. Let me start off by saying I usually do not leave reviews ever! I am extremely picking about my nails and when I moved to Randolph I tried a lot of different nail salons and was very disappointed every time. I did some research and I found nail time in Denville and decided to try it out. The ladies in here are so sweet first of all. They are friendly with new customers which is not something I've always experienced going to new places. But overall they just do such a meticulous job on my nails and I love that they are open to trying any designs I showed them on my phone too. They always do a great job.. and I am VERY detail oriented. I got a gel manicure here and 2 fake nails because I had some broken ones and that literally lasted me over a month without breaking! They will fix anything for free though if anything gets messed up and are very accommodating. They give a really long massage during the pedicure too. Prices are very reasonable. I have been going here for about 2 months now and sadly I am moving out of the area so I will have to find a new nail spot but I literally am so disappointed that I found this place and now I'm moving. It has been 2 days since I got them done again and one of my nails is lifting near the nail bed. Another finger doesn't have polish all the way down. And some of the nails have bubbles. Their pedicure is to die for, for $27 you get a hot stone massage, milk bath, coffee exfoliation and obviously painted nails. Their manicures are good if youre looking for something simple, they don't necessarily excel when it comes to designs or acrylic nails. They took me right away, friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great color selection too! What sold me though, she didn't use the drill to file my nails down to nothing. I won't be back because the staff is very rude. They seem to be unappreciative of my business. This is a clean place that's open on Sunday. I was a walk in and was seated within minutes. There is an average selection of colors and a lot of great options for both manis and pedis. Last time I went, they were slightly busy so the woman rushed. She only did 2 coats on a light color that really needed 3. When I asked her to do another coat she gave me attitude and said she didn't have time. Because I was also in a rush, in the moment I decided whatever, but ultimately I had to go back and ask for the third coat. However, The woman that did my nails could've used an attitude adjustment which is why the three stars is based on the customer experience. It seemed as though the other techs were much nicer. I just got the one with the bad attitude. I went here recently with 2 friends and it had to be the worst experience all of us have ever had at a nail salon. All 5 nail techs gave us attitude and dirty looks for no reason! and we didn't receive ONE thank you after giving a generous tip.
