Really enjoy getting my nails done at this place. Prices are still really reasonable and the service matches the prices. They have so much inventory and colors that it can be overwhelming but also you can find any color from any brand.
Pros: super clean, nice staff Cons: the techs I had weren't very good at nails. I had to ask for someone else to finish my pedicure, it looked like I painted my own nails in the bathroom. My nail tech was really sweet and patient, I didn't like the color I chose so she helped me pick another. Overall the end result just really wasn't great (see pics). Pretty sloppy around the edges. Overall probably won't be back :/
I have been to this salon probably 3 or 4 times, and I can tell powder dip gel is their specialty. Every technician I have gone to has done a fabulous job! They pay attention to very fine details and make sure your nails are perfect. The salon is one of the most beautiful in New Jersey, and the owners are incredibly attentive to their clients. Best part is I haven't had to make an appointment yet. They are either not that busy since they are still new or they have adequate staff. I would highly recommend trying this place out! P.S. Be sure to sign up for their rewards program. You get 2 percent back if you pay with credit card and 6 percent back if you pay by cash. If you spend approx 70 bucks a month, you could get a free SNS manicure in 10 months! Their prices are average for this area. SNS is 40 and extensions cost you 8 bucks more. They even throw in a short hand and back massage!
Came ger for a regular mani pedi. I didn't even want color, just for them to cut my nails and clean them up nicely. The pedicure was great. The guy who did it did a great job and was really nice. Then they sent me to someone else for the manicure. She didn't ask me what kind of shape I wanted or if I wanted them cut. She just filed them and pushed my cuticles back and told me I was done. It probably lasted less than 10 minutes. I just walked out and looked at them. I noticed several of my fingers were bleeding, my nails are actually jagged and sharp, and there is still dirt under them!! She didn't clean them up at all and did worse that I could've done at home. I can't imagine a simple manicure without even using polish could be done so badly. I really never write reviews but this is something so insane I had to do something about it. Though I really enjoyed the pedicure , I don't see myself coming back here. I don't want to risk having this experience on my toes.
Didn't have a good experience here. Got home and realized my nails were thick, clumpy, lopsided, and unevenly shaped. Didn't have a chance to even look at my nails because of the rush and confusion at the end. Made an appointment and when I arrived they said I would have to wait an extra 30 minutes because the previous customer arrived late. Once I got there I told them I wanted an acrylic fill in it and they agreed. I asked the nail artist what the difference between UV gel and acrylic was and and she said she didn't know, which I think should be common knowledge for a nail artist who does both. When it was time to pay they charged me $10 extra for getting UV gel when I specifically asked for acrylic, not gel. She put gel on me without even asking, and I was charged for it. Really unhappy with my nails.
Service is good, but was shocked when I saw that they keep fishes in a small vase with dirty water as decoration. I tried to get the contact of the manager, but wasnt provided. Cant came back to a place that has no respect to animals. Update: I contacted someone from Denville and they went there and instructed about changing water. And looks like the size of the vase is enough.
I did a walk-in for pedicure once they opened & they accommodated me. Alice was my specialist & she did a wonderful job. She took her time & my massage was awesome! I had the Top Style Essential Spa done during my time. I would definitely come back. The place was clean & everyone looked professional.
Lisa did the best pedicure I've had in a really long time! The place is clean and staff really friendly. I'll definitely be back for another pedi! Lisa continues to do an OUTSTANDING pedicure. They do have callus remover...!! Staff is accommodating regardless of the language barriers. I use Google translate if someone doesn't understand me(problem solved)
I have been searching for a new nail salon in the area and I am so happy I came across top style! The place itself was beautiful, the staff was friendly (gave me water and had my temperature taken immediately) and was following all protocols! Not only did they do exactly as I asked (new acrylic set and this elaborate design) the woman I had, Amanda, was very patient and never rushed (I was there for 2 hours because of the design). They also have a rewards program which is amazing! I am sending my sister there next week and will be a lifetime client! Thanks too Nails!!!
So I've been here plenty of times to say I've been more than patient!!! My nails take longer than they should usually I'd say hey not bad but now I spend 90 dollars on a full set of Uv Gel ! And that was yesterday on Sunday April 24 and now my nails are falling off !! I asked if they can have someone do it after they are done with a client !!! ... and they said they have other appointments so they can't see me !! Seriously look I work in this industry and I can always Accommodate a client . I could of waited but tell me they can't see me till after 2 seriously it's not okay !! I'm super understanding but not when they just don't care and understand that it's Inconvenient for me just like it is for them !

I had the absolute best time today at Top style. My tech, Maggie took her time and did such a fabulous job. She was so helpful and matched the picture I showed her perfectly. I cannot recommend coming here enough. read more

This place is a hidden gem! Every single staff member greets you with a smile, and you can feel how much pride they take in their work. I tried their pedicure + foot massage combo. They didn't just focus on my toes, the calf massage melted away my stress. Shoutout to the whole team for being so attentive (even brought me tea without me asking!). read more

I have been coming here for two years. Very clean and relaxing Yunny is the best, from my powder dip nail, gel pedicure or massage, she never disappoints! I give her 10 stars. The best!!! read more

This salon is not only gorgeous inside...my girl Liz does an absolutely phenomenal job on my nails...never any lifting...I get acrylic & people tell me how they look like a natural nail gel manicure!!! Very very clean which is awesome...I work in the beauty industry so I know when people are genuine about the work they do...I never leave unhappy!!!! read more

This place is a stylish trendy place to get all the latest styles when it comes to nails. They are willing to try any sort of design that you show a picture of. I wanted a nude matte nail with a design, and when I showed them the picture they went above and beyond to come as close to the picture. They did charge $5 extra dollars to add a matte top coat, and $5 for a small glitter design on two nails, making my gel manicure $45. This is definitely expensive and the reason I took a star off. I can rationalize adding $5 for both but $10 was just too much. I also noticed that the cheapest pedicure is $30 which is the most I've seen in this area. It is a very nice clean salon and the staff is helpful, but just beware that it is not an economic place. EDIT. My nails chipped within the first few days despite getting a gel manicure. Additionally, the $5 extra I payed for a matte topcoat was garbage because the very next day my nails were back to glossy. read more

Just went to this spa for the first time and I was really impressed. I got a signature pedicure and dip manicure. Both services were great and I got a complimentary shoulder massage with both. Will definitely be returning! read more

I've been coming to Top Style Nails for over a year now. I get the dip powder on my hands. Lisa is the best! I trust her with my nails to the point where I can literally close my eyes and take a nap and when I wake up I know my nails will be perfect. read more

Have been going to top style for almost a year. Was treated so poorly today that I will never go back. I asked to speak to the manager or owner and I was told "they will do nothing for you." It's a classic situation of having an appointment and they choose to take other people over you. I sat there for 45 minutes with my hands soaking and then was lied to repeatedly about why no one could do my nails. The place is not cheap and the cleanliness has gone downhill. Now that the customer service is abysmal, I won't go back. It's also the kind of place where they gave people not fully trained who cut the cuticles until they bleed. Absolute crap and overpriced. Did this gel on Friday and it's Tuesday and I have a giant chip. So disappointed with this for $40 with tip. I should have gone to my place for $25. Oh and had file these myself because the shape was so uneven. This place is a rip off only because its in a nice area. read more

Every time I go within the week I get a chip or two and I have to go back to get them to fix it. While they fix it for free within the week it's not fun to have to go back-and-forth. On Saturday, December 12 I got a gel manicure by the following Wednesday three fingers on the right had chipped so I went back on Friday, December 18. today is Xmas Eve and those three fingers are ruined again as well as two on the left. Absolutely horrible. I showed Luis (the nail tech) The white nails in the first picture as a reference. What I got was these horrendous purple nails. I was charged for coffin which is five dollars more, these nails are clearly square. I told him multiple times that he was cutting my fingers and it hurt the way that he was doing them and absolutely nothing changed. My cuticles are cut and bleeding, my nails are hideous and nothing like I asked for. Never coming here again! Worst $53 dollars of my life. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE! I have never felt so uncomfortable in any line of business I've been into. I called ahead to make an appointment and mentioned if it was ok if I brought my own gel nail polish base (rubber gel nail polish) which I was told was ok. I sat with my nail tech named GRACE who I mentioned, that I did not want that machine to be used on my nails, since they were already very fragile, instead to use acetone like I normally do to take them off. Then she tells me that I will be paying extra for this service (an extra $8), I also told her that I had brought my own gel base that I wanted to use and tells me that I will be paying extra for that as well (an extra $10). Through out my whole time being there Grace was abruptly harsh as if she did not want me there as a customer. She kept speaking to her coworkers complaining about everything as if I wasn't there. She definitely skipped nail prepping procedures to get me out of there. My nails came out super clumpy and out of shape, never in my life has ever happened. I had referred a friend to come with me hence I been to this nail salon before (far different experience, which is why I referred her in the first place) and she herself told the front desk lady that she was not coming back ever again and the lady could of cared less. Since she also was getting charged extra for picking a range of colors for her nails, something thats normal at any other nail salon. Even after we voiced how unhappy we were, nothing was done to make us feel at ease or accommodate us (no discount was giving). They had the audacity to ask how I was tipping after the worse experience of my life. SAVE YOUR MONEY LADIES, I PAID $59 for those nails in the picture. read more
