The pressure was strong and I needed that. My body was so tense. For the time they spent for massages, their price was very good.

I had an amazing massage from Lucy today. It was one of the best massages I've had in a long time. I will definitely go back again.

Massage lady was good but they told me that they'll honor Groupon price but then in-person they decline to do so.

Jenny got up on the table to exert more downward pressure. That's the way you do it! Highly recommend this hidden gem.

I love this spa. It's got lots of space, is meticulously clean and usually always has space…read moreavailable. Many people here seem to be complaining that the pools were closed. They had to shut them down because of Covid! The facility has two pools and two sets of saunas. One set is co-Ed and accessible from the main lobby. Then there's a female-only area which is accessible only through the womens locker room. Going there as a single lady, I find this amenity very nice since it creates a safe spot to just hang out for us girls. The new Himalayan salt sauna is absolutely gorgeous. And so relaxing! I've spent almost an hour in there with a friend just hanging out and chatting. The spa employees even brought us a complementary smoothie. I enjoy the massages and facials. And the prices are way cheaper than most other massages in the area. Of course it always depends on which person you get for your massage but once you get to know the different people, you can start asking for your favorite. Most massages include use of the spa and the massage chairs. Or you can pay a low price and just go for the saunas, pools and to sit in the massage chairs. They have a fireplace and blankets in the chair area so you can cozy up and just hang out if you want. This is probably not at the most high and spa in this area but it is clean, comfortable and offers very good service. For a much lower price than anybody else seems to charge. This spa has updated their amenities and their service continuously, reacting to customer feedback and making improvements. The new receptionist speaks flawless English and is incredibly helpful. I would recommend this place to anybody.

I came into Spa Blu after checking out Yelp reviews about a week or so before my wedding this…read moreApril! It was such a great experience. I had never had a deep cleanse facial before, and Gabriela was so great. She warned me before any painful parts, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I have super sensitive skin, so she was very mindful to use products that would minimize inflammation. My skin looked flawless the next week for my wedding! I also had a wonderful experience with Daisy, my mani/ pedi technician. It was so easy to work with her! I was an acrylic nail newbie, and she helped transform my awful nails into the perfect, bridal French manicure! The shape was just what I wanted, and she made sure they were short enough that I could be comfortable. Everyone who knows me and how clumsy I am was just so impressed that they held up so perfectly for so long! Spa Blu overall was clean and comfortable, everyone was so friendly, and the services were well worth the prices. Definitely plan to come back for my next "treat yourself" day!

But I called today and wanted to discuss a hot stone massage and the person who answered the phone was not helpful at all. I could not understand her when I asked questions about the hot stone massage. She told me to " just come in for 30 minutes and try and the stones are not too hot. She's very nice." I will assume that's Donna but who knows. To bad . If only I could actually speak to Donna or someone who can answer questions.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this medspa!…read more I decided to treat myself after neglecting my skin for the past year. My skin was dry, lacked volume, moisture, etc. I made an appointment to get a hydrafacial with Kristen and immediately fell in love. The spa is gorgeous. It has a nice warm feel to it as you walk in. Everyone is super nice and friendly. Kristen is literally beautiful inside and out. She makes sure you are comfortable and ensures you have the most amazing spa experience. The table is soooooo comfortable and warm. The room is so peaceful and relaxing. Not only did I leave there super relaxed, but my skin was glowing! Kristen doesn't try to push anything on you. She's honest and that is the most amazing feeling in the world! Kristen followed up that evening by checking on me. I mean, talk about great customer service! Needless to say, I went back for my second appointment and she was just as wonderful. In less than a month's time, my skin did a total 180. My skin is flowing and feels so smooth. Definitely has some more work to do but I'm confident my skin will look it's absolute best with Kristen's help! I am definitely going to be a regular at the Montville Medspa. Thank you Kristen for the most amazing experience and facials!

I have been a loyal client of this luxury med spa for almost two years. During that time, I…read morereceived multiple treatments, including Botox, fillers, laser treatments, facials, and weekly weight-loss injections. I always paid for my treatments in advance and trusted the staff enough to have charges placed on my CareCredit account and simply receive my receipt afterward. Unfortunately, my experience has changed significantly. I was first contacted about a $5 charge for a treatment box that no one had informed me needed to be returned. Had I been told there was a return policy, I would have gladly brought it back. Instead, I felt like I was being blamed for something that was never explained. I also experienced confusion regarding my prepaid weight-loss injections. Before picking up my injection, I confirmed with Amy that I was receiving my last prepaid dose and that I would need to pay only if I decided to continue the following week. However, when I arrived, the front desk insisted that I needed to pay again. Even after I explained that I had already prepaid and that this had been confirmed, I continued to be questioned. As a loyal customer, I found this frustrating and unnecessary. The final disappointment came when the owner called me and said the front desk staff felt uncomfortable with what I had said. I explained that I was the one who felt uncomfortable because I had repeatedly been put in situations where I had to defend myself over issues involving communication and payments. Rather than acknowledging my concerns, I was told that my remaining laser session would simply be refunded. The issue has never been about $5 or paying for services. I have always paid for my treatments. The issue is the lack of communication, inconsistent information, and the way I was treated as a long-term customer. I expected a luxury med spa to provide professionalism, respect, and excellent customer service. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have not reflected those standards.

Awesome place Great food great atmosphere authentic Russian spa!! Highly recommended .read more

~Best Day Spa in NJ~…read more No other spa in the Tri-State offers the services, amenities, hospitality, and atmosphere that BRC Day Spa does. Highly recommend if you enjoy or want to try a true Russian banya experience. This spa is absolutely beautiful, extremely clean, the vibes are friendly, very relaxed. I am in love with this place, and plan to come on a regular basis! It's really that awesome! The service and hospitality are wonderful. Upon arrival, you will check in at the front desk. If you have forgotten your swimsuit, robe, slippers for the pool. BRC spa has men's swim shorts to rent and female suits for purchase to whomever may need one. Which is an excellent service. Love that they have slippers for the entire spa experience. Really appreciate, towels and slippers are provided with the admission cost. Robes can be rented from the front desk for customer convenience, if you don't want to bring your own. I prefer to rent theirs, the robes are very nice. Admission grants access to the facility's aroma, wet, and dry saunas, steam room, ice cold plunge, lap pool, jacuzzi, relaxation room, and the mud/scrub room. WiFi is free and available throughout the entire spa. The spa features a lovely cafe that prepares healthy meals, fruit bowls, that has a bar wherein alcoholic beverages can be ordered. The spa has other amazing add on's that are extra which include cryotherapy, salt room, float pod, massage therapy, and a VIP room. Highly recommend cryotherapy if you have any inflammation in your body. Cryotherapy is a game changer. Excited to try the float pod, cryotherapy, infrared sauna,on my next visit. As well as the salt room eventually. My overall favorite feature of the spa was the ice cold plunge. It was truly an amazing experience, that gave me immediate benefits. Never thought I could ever do an ice cold plunge especially when the weather outside is already very frigid. Thanks to other members sharing their experience. I built up the courage to the plunge. It was an awesome, euphoric, pain relieving experience. I will be taking the ice cold plunge or ice baths on a daily or weekly basis for the amazing health benefits. My other favorites were the regulars that visit the spa frequently. They were absolutely the best, and I enjoyed each and every patron I encountered. This place is pure positive bliss. When I left this spa all of my body aches, muscle tension, chronic pain, and stress were gone. If you fly into Teterboro, visit Meadowlands, the NJ/NYC area, this is THE BEST SPA IN THE TRI STATE! Thank me later...

Detailed Account of Negligent Service Formal Complaint…read moreRegarding Negligent Eyebrow Waxing Service and Subsequent Skin Damage Service Performed: Eyebrow Shaping and Waxing Time of Service: April 2025, Esthetician: T. Result: Severe skin damage requiring immediate medical attention, resulting in prolonged physical and professional inconvenience. During the service, I experienced clear indications of improper technique and negligent care: Excessive Heat: The applied beeswax felt excessively hot, indicating an improper temperature setting. Aggressive Removal: The removal of the wax sheet by the esthetician was noticeably aggressive and forceful. Immediate Pain & Acknowledgment: Immediately after the wax removal, I informed the esthetician, Treasure, that the areas above and between my eyebrows were extremely painful. Negligent Aftercare: I questioned whether a proper post-wax cleanser (such as rubbing alcohol) had been used. Treasure confirmed that "No" such cleanser was applied. I was only advised to use a generic ointment and Vitamin E oil. Upon returning home, the painful area above and between my eyebrows became severely red and inflamed. I subsequently confirmed that the skin in these blotches-on both sides above the brow and between the brows-had been physically lifted and removed (skin abrasion/burn). Current State of Injury: The damaged area has progressed from red to pink and is now a noticeable brown/hyperpigmented color. Permanent Damage: The injury to the skin, particularly above the left eyebrow, remains visible even after two professional consultations, indicating permanent damage and a high risk of long-term scarring. Personal and Professional Impact: I have been forced to stay indoors and rigorously avoid all sun exposure to prevent further hyperpigmentation. This has caused significant personal and professional inconvenience, including the cancellation of scheduled appointments. Initial In-Person Follow-Up: I returned to the salon to show the extent of the damage. I spoke with an employee named Emily, who confirmed the owner / manager was unavailable. Broken Financial Commitment: The business owner promised in written format to reimburse all current and future dermatology visit fees related to this injury. However, the owner failed to follow through on this commitment, and all subsequent attempts to contact them regarding payment have been ignored. Lack of Response to Third Party: I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), but the business owner did not respond to the inquiry at all, demonstrating a profound lack of professionalism and accountability. This incident reflects a severe lapse in professional standards, commitment, and customer care. I have suffered a painful and lasting physical injury, permanent damage to my left eyebrow, and significant inconvenience due to the negligence of the esthetician and the subsequent failure of the business owner to uphold their financial commitment and basic professional responsibility.
