What I got: 60 min Foot Reflexology (~$30): includes foot bath + sea salt + hot stone treatment Aya's take: I've gotten many foot massages at Asian massage spots in the past and this was the first time where I was seated in a massage chair instead of laying down. Had I known that, I would have chosen a different service to be more relaxed. Despite this, it was relaxing and very comforting as they focused on different parts of the foot. Overall, it was decent and I would probably come back but I would inquire about their others to get a better idea of what to expect first. read more

Oriental Foot Spa - Price List (as of August 2021). - Massage Near Me - Pompton Plains, New Jersey

3 1/2 stars. My first foot massage since the pandemic started. Temperatures were taken and masks were enforced. It was not crowded at all. On one side were beds for body massages separated by curtains. The foot massage chairs were also separated by clear vinyl shower type curtains. It was an interesting set up. I asked for a strong massage so the petit young woman who was about to massage my feet switched with the gentleman who was going to massage my son's feet. Not sure that made any difference. Neither massage was strong at all. However, they both had a nice technique, that was pleasant and relaxing. The massage was strong enough at times to work on some of the kinks in my feet from exercising. I think I would try another place first before I would go back but I would go back here in a pinch. read more

WOW! First impressions are impressive. Clean, neat and inviting. Nice spacious layout. Relaxing & comfortable. No dark and dingy rooms. No horrible smells or ornamental decorations. Staff are friendly & courteous. Prices are phenomenal. Short of amazing for a 1 hour Reflexology massage. And the finishing touch, a warm stone rub. If you are having second thoughts, as I was, try it!! Don't think you will be too disappointed. It's a 40+ minute ride and I will be returning. :) read more

Oriental Foot Spa - Massage Near Me - Pompton Plains, New Jersey

Relaxing, clean, prompt, honored my appointment . Peaceful environment. Went with my 2 daughters and we all enjoyed it

Wow! I just got my full-body massage today, and I am beyond satisfied with my experience. I feel completely rejuvenated. The place is clean, quiet, and professional. I will definitely come back. read more

I got a coupon in the mail and decided I needed a massage. It was a great deal at $25 for an hour of body work. I tipped $15. It's customary to tip at least $10 per hour at these places. The massage itself was very good, not the best, but very good. I will be going back. This is an Asian run spot, very legit, no hanky panky. They had just opened and were still putting the finishing touches on the place. There were a few customers, but I would think this place will get crowded soon. We all need to unwind every now and then and this is the perfect way to do it. read more

Definitely not a place for reflexology. Great foot and leg massage, but if you're looking for reflexology, this isn't the place.

Very painful and not relaxing . This woman applied entirely too much pressure. I honestly felt like this woman was trying to injure me . Im extremely soar and she even slapped the back of my head . I was honestly shook up when I walked out- really bad . read more

Tried this place for the first time tonight With a friend as her birthday gift.Chose it based on yelp reviews. I was not disappointed! Great foot massage and nice relaxing atmosphere! Comfy chairs too! Can't wait to go back. Definitely recommend! read more

EXCELLENT! I have an ankle injury from over 5 years ago that stills bothers me, so, any type of foot relief sounds like heaven... and it was! I got the 60 min foot massage for only $30 ($32 if you pay by card because of sales tax.) You start by taking off your shoes and let your feet soak in a nice, warm bath while they do a little scalp massage, which also felt amazing due to a headache I had. Then they move to your arms and hands, followed by the foot massage. They even use HOT STONES towards the end of your 60 mins. Once they are finished manipulating your feet, they finish off the service with a quick back, shoulder and neck massage! I will most definitely come here everytime I need to relax. It was so great, I dozed off and ended up snoring. Oops lol. (P.S. I work in the beauty industry and know the value of hard work and time put into a service, so, if you are curious as to how much to tip, $15-$20 would be an appreciative amount. I tipped $20 cuz my guy was very thorough, put a lot of energy into his techniques, and it felt like he cared about making my feet feel fantastic at the end lol.) read more

A solid four stars for my first visit to this local foot spa. I took advantage of the $20/one hour foot reflexology. Yes you read that right. With the coupon it's only $20! The service starts sitting on a comfy chair where the masseuse rubbed my scalp, neck and shoulders while my feet soaked in a warm bath. Next he moved onto my legs and feet. This part is intense but feels strangely good even if at times a bit of hard pressure is applied. I get it, this is reflexology and there is a science behind it. Trust it. It's worth it. I assure you. At the end, a relaxing neck, shoulder and back massage is given while sitting up. I really enjoyed the full hour of bliss. I do wish it would have been warmer in the room though. Happy to have a service like this so close to home. read more

Oriental Foot Spa - Outside of business - Massage Near Me - Pompton Plains, New Jersey

This place is great! Seems like their business has picked up over the past few years and I am so glad they got through the roughest part of the pandemic. Their facility is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. $30 for a 60-minute foot massage and it's worth much more than that in my opinion. They do an amazing job and everything is done right with covid protocols (staff in masks, dividers separating each lounge chair for foot massages, etc.). It's best to call ahead and make an appointment but they are flexible with walk-ins when they have the availability. I do not understand why so many bad reviews because the staff here works hard to have excellent service. read more

A friend gave me a gift certificate to this place. I didn't even know it existed. I came here for a 60 minute foot massage it was awesome. My massage technician used just the right amount of pressure. The chairs are really comfortable and the overall experience is very relaxing. I enjoyed my first foot massage here so much that I made an appointment for another in just a couple of weeks. The massage the second time was just as good. The only issue was there was another customer 2 chairs away from me who was snoring LOUDLY for quite a while. While i am sure she was enjoying her massage, it was very distracting to myself and the other clients. Of course this isn't the spa's fault, but her technician should have woken her so that she did not disturb everyone else. I will definitely be back again, hopefully I won't run into snoring susie. Lol read more

I would not recommend this place at all...I usually go to 2 other places for an hour of reflexology..Its my treat to myself...I saw this place and looked nice.. I walked in to being the only one there, place was clean, massage was not good and when I left and went to pay the receptionist yelled at me to put a tip ,, actually said "No you must leave more tip" For her information a tip is given based on service...I left a tip anyway but will never go back!!! Very dissapointing!! read more

I have been here probably 10 times in total. I have had great massages, and I have had poor massages. My review score of two stars is for the inconsistency. The last time I went, which will be my last time, it felt like the masseuse was on her phone with one hand as she barely massaged my calves with the other - with almost no pressure, for 30 mins. It was weak and it took a lot for me not to just get up and walk out. I don't recommend this place - because it's a dice roll on the quality of the massage. read more

First time i had an experience at this place and i must say am happy and relaxed after an hour of massage. Minko the therapist was very nice and made sure i was comfortable. Hope he got the tip i left from the front desk as the guy told me he will give it to him. read more

Absolutely love the foot massages. Got a recommendation from a friend about this place and now have a standing appointment every two weeks!

I have gone several times to have the foot massages at this establishment. My experience has been excellent each and every time. It is a therapeutic and extremely relaxing treatment, one not to be missed. I just love them! Don't miss out on this place! read more

I have been to this location several times, and I've always had a good experience. Normally after I pay the front desk, I go to the back and give the therapist the tip personally. Yesterday, however, after I paid at the front desk, I went to go to the back and the front desk attendant said "you can leave it here.". I left the money and as I was walking out, he stopped me and said "is this all you're giving? You need to give more". I was a little surprised and very embarrassed, because there were other people in the front lobby. I gave a 20% tip which I felt was adequate. In hindsight, I wish I went back and gave the therapist the tip on my own because Now I am not certain if the therapist even got the full tip. Recommend giving tip directly to therapist after service read more

The prices here are great and when they really massage it's very pleasant but otherwise they just rub your calves and the side of your feet up and down really fast for 30 minutes out of the hour it ends up just hurting and being extremely frustrating because I try and tell them but they don't speak english and only guess by where i'm pointing. I've given them so many chances trying different people but it's always the same experience where I leave more frustrated than going in read more

10 STARS! Came here to treat myself to a 1 hour foot massage and was NOT disappointed! I call to make an appointment and they were able to accommodate my requested time. I arrived and was welcomed warmly by the lady at the front desk who took me back in the Spa area. The lights are dimmed and it was warm and cozy. I was seated and the experience began promptly. I soaked my feet in a warm bath and a warm towel was put over me. The tech started with a wonderful scalp massage and forehead massage. Then he started the foot massage. It was reflexology at it's best. He was thorough as he worked on each foot/leg. Then at the end, he gave me a wonderful shoulder/neck rub. When all was done, a TRUE 60 minute experience, I was brought back out to reception and given water (very, very important after a massage) and so loved that they did that. It shows they are truly professional technicians who know massage therapy and reflexology! I HIGHLY recommend this Spa to anyone. The prices are so reasonable, professional and friendly staff, just an all around great experience! read more

Great massage and good price. We made an appointment And we were glad we did they were turning people away. Will return

Tried this place for the first time with my Aunt who lives in the area. Visiting from Michigan. Took advantage of the specials going on right now. $20 for an hour of pure bliss. We felt like a renewed person afterwards. We will be visiting again even without the special price. It's well worth it. We made another appointment just before we left for next week. read more

My wife and I have gone here a few times and have always had a great experience. Highly recommend.

Best. Experience. Ever. I went last week for the first time for the hour foot massage. Well, I fell asleep twice! It was amazing! Totally covid safe- all the massage chairs were in their own little plastic bubbles and the way you sit in the chair, your legs are up on your own little ottoman sticking out the end of the plastic so the massage therapist is outside your bubble as well. Very clean and sanitary, professional zen atmosphere; lights are dimmed, soft music, comfortable chairs. Long story short, I went again last night, and booked again for next week as well. I'm totally hooked. Thankful for the masks as it hid the fact that I was so relaxed my mouth was totally gaped open! I highly recommend this place read more

Walked in to get a 30 minute foot massage. They are very nice they got me in right away. It only cost me $20. I will definitely be back.

The worst.. I had been there before and had an ok experience for the money. This time I was rushed and the women was terrible. Not relaxing at all. A waste of money! read more

Been there twice now. Left disappointed both times. I got the same very old Asian woman twice now who I believe works the front desk. If you are looking for deep tissue, good luck. My girlfriend cried after getting out the massage due to frustration after she said the man who massaged her, simply just rubbed his forearm up and down her back the entire time and didnt use his hands once. read more

Had a great one hour foot massage. Clean facility. Large comfy chair. Started with soaking feet and scalp massage. Then did calves and feet. And ended with massage of back and shoulder. They also used hot stones. It was an excellent 1 hour massage. read more
