I came here for a routine exam thinking it was no big deal and left having 10 spots removed and sent out for biopsy. One came back abnormal and had to be surgically removed and 6 stitches. I was really shocked and surprised. ( too many years in the fla sun .) Dr. Kiken made me feel very comfortable, and relaxed he's always walks in the room with a smile on his face and always very happy. It's so nice to see a Dr. who really enjoys what he's doing. His staff was equally nice. All his nurses were very professional, and they too answered all my questions. This office can get very busy. There is a large waiting room. Dr. Kiken does accept many different insurances. Call first to make sure he takes yours. Besides Dr. Kiken being a board certified dermatologist,he is also a moh's surgeon. I also had to have something removed off my eyelid that required at least 6 stitches and fast forward to a month later and you can't even tell I had surgery. He was very careful to place the stitches in an inconspicuous place. Dr. Kiken is located on the second floor of the Skin Care Center. The easiest way to get here is take Colombia Turnpike and turn left onto James street. Follow that all the way around until you come to 205 Ridgedale Ave. Turn right into the parking lot. It's right next door to Lucco Cucina Restaurant. You can not turn left directly on Ridgedale Ave. I highly recommend Dr Kiken and his office.

5/21/2026: Extremely frustrating and misleading scheduling experience…read more I spent two days obtaining a referral specifically for Dr. David Kiken after being told by the office that this was required before scheduling. After the referral was sent, the office repeatedly placed me on hold, collected all of my insurance and personal information, and only then informed me that I would not be permitted to see Dr. Kiken at all -- only a PA. This information should have been disclosed from the beginning instead of wasting patients' time and effort. The front desk staff was also very rude and dismissive. When I politely questioned why my referral specifically named Dr. Kiken but I was being denied an appointment with him, the call was disconnected. Very disappointing experience.

She's genuine and honest about expectations and reality of what procedures will and won't work for you as well as what you need to do after to ensure your service is going to work as it should. She takes her time and makes sure you are comfortable, answers questions where you can understand in "lay terms" but also she is clearly knowledgeable about the medical elements of laser etc. I've been 2x and both experiences have left me relaxed and feeling flaaaaat in the tummy. Very clean environment but not sterile and "medical" where it feels like you're at the doctor. I've also gone for botox and cannot begin to tell you that the practitioner is top tier. Again, sweet, honest, knowledgable. She has the lightest touch of any injector ive ever been to not one second of discomfort or tenderness during or after. The wood paddle hurt a little but she knows what she is doing! I definitely see some improvement with the procedure and wish the office wasn't so far from my home. I reluctantly agreed because I don't like giving my face that much time to wrinkle and I was already at a disadvantage but I assumed she wanted to right the problem.
