We decided to do a sibling massage room instead of a couples massage to enjoy each other's company along with letting our heads melt into their hands. They did a scalp wash with shampoo, conditioner and a couple of massages, brush, wash and rinse. It was coupled with neck, shoulder, arm and hand massages because I have less hair than my sister. Had an overall incredible experience with my classic headspa Appointment at Millbutn Glamour Day Spa! When I arrived, I was greeted warmly and after I used the restroom, I was escorted right to my room. They already scored points for me in this area! Appointments should start on time!!! Nina and Linda did my service today and they were very sweet! The service was unlike anything I've experienced. During the entirety of my service, some part of me was getting massaged. If it wasn't my neck and shoulders, it was my face or my arms and hands. I was not expecting all of that and was very happy and relaxed. Multiple tools were used on my scalp throughout the appointment, such as their fingers, gua shas and other tools to help the circulation in my scalp. There was at least 30-40 minutes of massaging before my hair even got washed. My only downside is that they use the same products for all hair types. I have very curly hair and with that comes dryness - it's the dryers hair type. They just kept telling me "your hair is dry" and it didn't seem like they had good product for my hair. After my appointment, I was headed to work so I called previously to ask if the hair is styled after the service and I was told yes "blow dried". My naive self thought that that ment a blow out. Guess not so naive, because I know there are places in the city that do finish off your service with a blow out. Really, what they meant was a light blow dry and the rest with air dry. This does not work for curly hair, sadly. My hair was a frizzy mess and was not their fault - that's just how curly hair is. You have to add product to it. So I had to run to the pharmacy to get product since I went directly to work after this. That is truly my only complaint, but to be honest, I would still book again and just know to bring my own styling products to apply after the massage and wash. First time visiting Milburn Glamour Day Spa for a couples massage and unfortunately it was underwhelming. We arrived a few minutes late due to parking, so my massage was shortened by about 15 minutes, which I understood. The overall experience felt very basic for the price ($158). And this was not a Groupon deal. There was little to no spa ambiance--no relaxing sounds or music, minimal dull lighting, and the blanket on the table had a strange smell. During the massage, the two masseuses were whispering and talking to each other the whole time, which made the environment feel awkward and not very relaxing. The massage also only focused on our backs and we were never asked to turn over, which is something I've experienced at other spas. I was also surprised that essential oils $20 more per person and hot stones were extra charges Overall, it just didn't feel like a full spa experience and wasn't worth the price. I've returned many times for massage (can't resist the addition of hot stones and scented oil) and for facials--The skill and kindness here always exceeds my expectations, and the rates are incredibly reasonable. I've been here twice and love it. It's a bit of a drive from me, but they really do a great job accommodating your needs and you truly do feel zen afterwards! The rooms are very clean and the soothing music along with the aromatherapy oils relax you right from the start. I don't know if they still offer free cucumber water to hydrate after, but that was always excellent too! Staff is pleasant and ensure you are comfortable with pressure or heat from hot stones. Amazing first time experience! I called the day off for a couples massage and luckily, they had availability for my boyfriend and I. Receptionist was so helpful over the phone and also when we arrived. It was very clean and had a very relaxing aroma throughout the entire facility. Yan and Celina were the best masseuses, such sweet, small ladies with incredibly powerful hands! We had a lot of knots and they got all of them out without it being too painful. They were making sure we were comfortable throughout the entire hour. (Elite Perk review.) What a treat! Thanks to this place and yelp including CM Sara M., this perk offered three 15-minute choices: 1. A head and scalp massage 2. Mini foot reflexology 3. A sinus massage for allergy relief I went for the second option, the mini foot rub. Staff was professional start to finish and explained that the service I chose was a preview of a longer experience that's typically at least 40 minutes and starts with a moisturizing sugar scrub then the massage. The entire place had a calming vibe. The foot rub was actually in a super comfortable "zero gravity" recliner and performed with me lying nearly all the way down with a warm towel over me (clothed). I really appreciated that it didn't hurt (I'm not into that deep tissue stuff) and I felt so relaxed and pampered that I almost fell asleep. I went here with a friend and we both had 75 minute massages. They were amazing. My massage was one of the best I've EVER had and I've been to the super high end day spas in the area. I love finding affordable, but quality spas. I had a one hour massage and it was LOVELY. I was very close to falling asleep lol. Perfect amount of pressure that takes out some knots, but is still relaxing. I had Solina. She was very nice and checked in to see if I needed more/less pressure. You can add in aromatherapy or hot rocks for an extra price. I didn't do that this time, but might in the future. The spa isn't too glitzy or fancy, but it's clean and well kept. I went here for a massage/reflexology combo. The treatment was fair at best. They tried to upsell me with hot stones and aromatherapy which was annoying. It was a relaxing treatment but not great. I paid my bill which was $29 more than I saw on line. I did not want to argue with her, so I just paid it. I gave her a $20 tip and she complained that she wanted more. I gave her another $5 and she still was not satisfied. She kept complaining it was not 20%. Well, it was 18% and for the fair service I received I thought it was very generous. A gratuity is given by a customer based on the service, not what the employee thinks she deserves. I can't believe the employee was demanding more money. Based on the fair but not excellent service she gave me, a $25 tip was MORE than enough. IMO. I will never go back there, I'm sorry I went there the only time I went there. I think these employees need an education on the art of gratuities. read more

I was gifted a massage by my husband and was excited to try it out. Though the massage was good, it wasn't the best I had, and the lady at the front desk wasn't the most welcoming, either. My masseuse was polite and professional, but it was funny- I asked for some water and I got it in one of those little paper cups the dentist usually gives you to rinse your mouth. At the end of the massage, I stepped out to tip the masseuse as my massage was already paid for. Not knowing exactly how much my husband paid, I gave a tip I thought was appropriate. I was promptly told by the woman at the front desk, after she took my tip, that 20% is suggested. Though I appreciate her honesty, I find it unprofessional to "ask" for more or take more than what the customer feels is appropriate, and by no means am I someone who skimps on tips. Maybe they should raise their base prices if they are depending on a 20% tip from every customer, but her telling me that really set me off. I asked her how much more she needed and she gladly took it from my hand. I walked out of the place with a really nasty feeling which I couldn't dust off. The place is clean and pleasant, but sometimes the attitude and business they conduct says, and means, a lot more. read more

Called and wanted a massage last minute...Ying spoke with me several times via yelp and even the phone and was very nice...they allowed me to make a same day appointment and waited for me to get there after work...Ying was nice enough to spend 10 mind on the phone with me giving me directions and helping me find parking. I got inside and was promptly given a nice theme room to change and prepare for my massage. I got the first time visitor massage for $49. It was wonderful. My masseuse was Judi. She was very firm and heavy handed but it was relaxing. She asked if I was ok along the way. She used massage lotions and hot warm towels At the end of each body section which was nice. Even though I was the last appointment of the day, I never felt rushed. Everyone was so nice. The spa was spacious with many rooms. It was clean and well kept. Only complaint, I wish the face pillow was a little softer and the music in my room had shuffle to mix up some different songs. The piano music was beautiful but I wish there were 2-3 more songs that were mixed in. I Definitely will go back and maybe try some of their other options. read more

I requested an appointment online and in less than 24 hours I received a message back saying they'd be happy to take us the next morning. I came for a prenatal massage which ended up being quite nice. Unfortunately I made a mistake of adding a facial to my visit. The "facial" was A JOKE. The lady plastered some cheap smelling creams on my face, did ZERO extractions and focused on massaging my face.
