I called to confirm a time and was told one thing and when we arrived it was another thing. The front desk relayed she was wrong and we waited 30-40 minutes to be put in a room. Next- we were put in a couples massage room and the massage shortly started. The pressure was very intense to the point where I rose my head to advise i was in pain. (Upper back & neck area) This was on Sunday it is now Thursday, my husband and I are both still sore and feel heavy discomfort. The massage was over and we went to check out. I used the atm to take out cash as the surcharge to use a cc was insane. I recount the money in front of the counter and when I gave her the money the front desk proceeded to ask for the tip. I found that unprofessional! A tip is not mandatory. We still gave one because of the ppl we are. However we will not be back and we do Not recommend this place.

My new fave is Margaret. This past year- I have added cupping to my massage. Wet cupping massage and then cupping to the end. Slightly uncomfortable to sensitive areas or area of tension at first but when the 10mins are up and the cups are removed- there are way more benefits. The only times I don't add cupping is if I have to wear something that can't hide the cupping marks or I'm going to the beach etc.

Spa is older and rooms could be cleaner. Not that they were dirty, they just had that old tired worn smell to them. But, Angela, with her massage skills more than compensated for any shortcomings of the physical surroundings. Angela has a bright smile and takes time to ask what you would like and what you need. After we went over my likes and needs she said, for that involved treatment, my pains are many so my needs are great, she said it might take more than an hour. As I was between meetings, I didn't have more than an hour, and we came to an understanding that Angela would do what she could. Miracle worker that she is, she was able to accomplish most items on the list and I left totally rejuvenated and ready for my meeting. Angles is amazing. Told her I would see her next week.

Great spot for a scalp massage with my sister is Milburn…read more We decided to do a sibling massage room instead of a couples massage to enjoy each other's company along with letting our heads melt into their hands. They did a scalp wash with shampoo, conditioner and a couple of massages, brush, wash and rinse. It was coupled with neck, shoulder, arm and hand massages because I have less hair than my sister. Took advantage of the Groupon for our session and had to pay $10 for taxes and then tip afterwards.

I was SO tempted to end the massage early! I've had my fair share of massages (probably upwards of 30 in my lifetime), but this was the worst! I did appreciate the hot towel that Amanda used at the end to rub the lotion off my back because I was cold after all the cold lotions and thin sheet that she had over half of me, but even with that, she pressed the hot towel immediately to my back, feeling like she scalded the area. The ambiance itself was typical of a Chinese massage parlor, mostly bare bones without soothing music or fragrances, but that is par for the course.

We came here for a 60 minute couples massage. Upon entering the vibe in Aroma Spa was very quiet…read moreand calming but very dark. We were greeted at the front desk and brought to our treatment room which was through a curtain door. We were instructed to take everything off with the exception of our underwear. After getting undressed and settled on our treatment tables, our masseuses came in to begin. They started with pressure point work over the sheets to gauge how firm of pressure we would prefer for the massage. This lasted for several minutes getting our bodies warmed up to the massage. Then the actual bodywork began, our masseuses pulled the sheets down to the back of our legs. And then pulled our underwear down past our butt cheeks to expose them for the massage. The bodywork was amazing! They used long firm strokes going up and down our back. This was the majority of the massage. Emphasis was put on massaging our neck, shoulders, and glutes, all of which was perfectly done. As the massage time winded down they moved to our legs doing our hamstrings, calves and feet. At the very end we were asked to flip over but probably spent less than 10 minutes face up for the treatment. By the end of the 60 minutes we felt incredibly relaxed and satisfied with the massage! Overall Aroma Spa is a very solid option for a massage. You might not get all the extra frills of an expensive luxury spa but everything here was fairly priced and well worth the money!

The environment was clean, calming, and quiet -- perfect for unwinding. I booked a 60-minute full-body massage, and it was hands down one of the best I've had. Patrons should be aware this is an Asian massage so focus on muscle joints and overall realignment- not the Western spa but I'll be back the next time I'm in town for sure.
