I'm truly confused as to how this place is still open. Read the reviews on google. They are known for hassling their customers for more tips. That's absolutely pathetic and unacceptable for a business to do. I knew when it happened to me it wasn't an isolated incident. They went as far as following a minor to his car to demand a bigger tip. Everyone here is unprofessional, and it starts from the owner. Read the google reviews and you will see the owner being rude to some, while giving the same tired response to everyone who left a review about them demanding more tips. The response was "we are sorry, customers typically tip 15-20% but it is ultimately up to them. We will do what we can to fix this". If it was up to the customers, then multiple customers wouldn't be saying the exact same thing about being harassed for tips. Clearly nothing is being done to fix it. For the past 7 years i have been going here for my massages. I just had a massage on Saturday night. I even brought my husband who was just on a 2 week ski vacation. When we got home we slept like a baby for 2 days. The masseuse asked my preference and I said deep tissue. I also said my hips were tight from sitting at my desk too long. I had a 1 hour massage and they didnt upsell me. This is a horrible practice in many Chinese massage places. And when they do. Just say no. So anyways no upsell makes for a relaxing massage! Several private rooms which are set up nice inside . I believe my bed was even heated . Bathroom in the back Right now - there are grand opening specials which people should take advantage of. Had an appointment scheduled for 8pm I get a call at 7:45 asking me to come late because they overbooked.. I said no I had an appointment for 8 and I'm here. When I walk in they are arguing with a couple about their method of payment and demanded $20 minimum tip per person. I waited until 8:05- a woman comes to me saying I need to wait 40 mins. I replied, "I'm never coming here again. I had an appointment, you all overbooked and you knew you did." She smiled and walked away I left, and called and explained my dissatisfaction some more. The woman replied whispering she's sorry and she has a 90 minute service etc etc. all besides the point. Side note-- sounded like she answered while providing a service to someone. (I could never!!) Anyway/ I said I would leave a review and make sure the whole town knows-- right after I said that-- immediately a woman came on the phone SCREAMING saying "I asked you to come late! Stop calling! You should have just come late!" I responded, don't ever hang up on customers again, because it took 4 calls for them to get on and yell at me and one hang up on me to eventually be able to speak about how I feel I was treated So they scream at customers, answer the phones while massaging u, overbook appointments, and demand a specific tip, lol. My daughter surprised me a treated me for a quick mother daughter outing. Drive by this place daily, but never paid it much attention. A hidden gem. This is a no frills, no nonsense massage spa. If you are looking for a spa day with zen music, candles, aromatherapy mist, quiet fully enclosed rooms then go someplace else. I have had many massages in my lifetime. This is where I will be going when o want to have someone work on the stress of exercising, sitting at a computer and the tension of everyday life. Yes you may be a little sore, but just tell them less pressure. Be prepared to tip in cash let them know upfront you will be doing that when you pay your bill (as with restaurants ) that is always preferred and as always read your receipts. Yes you will hear someone else getting a message in the room across the hall or they may have to answer the phone, but they are on and off quickly. So go in knowing all of this, BUT BE PREPARED FOR A GREAT MASSAGE. They are open from 10am-10pm and their prices are reasonable. You won't be disappointed as long as you know what to expect walking in the door. Ok let me first start by saying they prefer you pay cash for everything. They weren't satisfied with the tip I was giving for a couples massage and let me know it wasn't enough. Another thing I didn't appreciate is them touching my girlfriend's braids which is a big No No. As far as the massage goes, we felt like we got beat up badly because they put so much pressure and force on your body instead of leaving brand new, you leave feeling like you just lost an MMA fight. My latest visit, the same as all my other experiences, was with Yo-Yo, and it was professional, attentive, and courteous, as always. Although I have not tried the other therapists there, I believe that, in general, they are all held to the same high standards of professionalism. Although an Oranges Spa experience may sometimes be described as "no frills", at its core what is provided there is a simple, top quality therapeutic massage. Last night was probably my 15th time I have been there (and I have plenty of "buy five, get 30 minutes!" cards lying around the house to prove it), and I'm disappointed in the change in experience. First off, they are asking for a minimum 25% tip now, using a laminated card -- even at a dollar a minute for 90 minutes. To be clear, I regularly did 25% for my one-hour massages (so maybe this card has been around for a while and I did not know it), but I still think a tip should be discretionary and a 25% MINIMUM is a bit much - especially for a bad massage, which this one was. For the first time here, my massage therapist could not understand me at all. She kept working my injured foot after telling her over and over to stop. I eventually had to sit up, which I've never done in hundreds of massages, to tell her to stop, and she kept working it! It absolutely wrecked the experience, from a state of bliss to total annoyance. And then I get to the desk and they show me a card asking for $90 plus 25% for that? Trust me, this was a 5-star experience previously, and I don't want that fact to get lost. I have had some great work done here. But honestly I'm never going back. My foot is all jacked up this morning. The last thing I'll mention is the upsell, which they have been doing forever. Ask for 30, they'll ask if you want 60. Ask for 60, and they'll ask if you want 90. That is all cool the first four times they ask, then it gets annoying. No thanks means no thanks, the first time, and the second time, and the third time. read more

I moved here in the Spring and as a working mom, was in need of a straightforward massage to alleviate tension in my back. Yo-yo did my massage and she did a really good job, asking me if I was OK and I appreciated that since I have not had a massage in about a year. I definitely felt more at ease afterwards and had to pace myself to drive since I was so "relaxed". The issue is the noise factor. I could hear the phone ring and the man being massaged next door to me. It was a little disruptive and for that reason, I took one star off. The location is not bad but there is no parking only street parking and that can get annoying on a busy day. The prices are good considering the quality of massage you get.. If I can give any feedback, it would be to take 2-3 minutes to ask the customer what kind of massage she likes as it relates to pressure and areas of concerns. I plan to return for another massage very soon and oh before I forget after 5 60 minute massages, you get free 30 minutes added to your next 60 minute massage.. The past two times I went (including today) when I gave my tip the lady at the front desk told me I should give more. My couples massage was $160.00 already! This is definitely a "no frills" massage service. I could smell the workers lunch. The phone rang at least 5 times while I was there and you can hear other customers. It reminded me of massage centers I've been to in China. Now the reason I will never go back was payment. After the service, she asked if I wanted card or cash. I said card and she asked if wanted to leave the tip on the card and I said cash. I get my receipt and there was a 10% up charge on the bill with NO EXPLANATION. I then gave the cash tip and ask for change. I assume she didn't like the tip amount and informed me that since I asked for a hard massage she deserved more tip. I have gone to this spot 5 times but on the sixth time it was hellacious. Therapist kept running in and out of room and talking over the wall to the other worker in Chinese. We all know what it's like going to a Chinese nail spot while they talk to each other and ignore you totally. Bait and switch! I've been having a lot of pain In my feet and legs and booked a 60 minute foot massage. After 30 minutes, the massage therapist told me she could only give me 30 minutes, as other clients were waiting for her! They were just trying to maximize their profit and did not care about customer service! When I complained to the manager, she said some regular customers had come in and they had to attend to them.. Have been struggling with sciatica pain for several weeks. Yo Yo gave me a deep tissue massage that was absolutely fantastic and worth every dollar. She got all the trigger points and if you know anything about sciatic pain you know it can go DEEP into the butt and legs. Well Yo Yo worked it out...by the time she was done that pain was gone. She also checks throughout the massage to make sure the pressure she's applying is comfortable for you. Of course massage can't completely fix sciatica, but it was a great temporary solution. I was feeling and walking much better after. I'll be back for sure...especially because of the punch card you get...5 visits and you get a 30 minute massage free--whoot, whoot. Don't go expecting a luxurious spa....but do go if you like a deep tissue massage and need some relief. Very good prices, and for the so-called no frills massage parlors--this is among the nicest I've been to. I got a 2 hour massage--1 hour deep tissue, 1 hour reflexology. There were points where the masseuse did a good job, but I would have to say for a majority of the massage it was just ok. I love to give the new local businesses a try especially when they have an opening special, so I decided to book an appointment and went in for a massage the other day. My expectations weren't extremely high given the moderate prices, and I certainly don't mind a no-frills massage to work out my back tension; however, I REALLY didn't expect to be sneezed on by the massage therapist. (That's not an exaggeration: I felt the wet sneeze on my back) I also didn't feel relaxed at all, as another woman came in more than once to debate some issue with the girl massaging me. It was pretty uncomfortable. Also, they don't have actual separate rooms, just curtains, and I felt kind of exposed. The face part of the bed was extremely uncomfortable (basically just a hole in the be, and even though I asked for medium pressure the girl pressed extremely hard on my back. She kept rolling her thumb back and forth over the same knot until it was sore. I understand it's a massage, but usually the therapists have more skill in working out the knots without really hurting you. The final part of my massage was my scalp, a part I usually enjoy, but I did not enjoy how she was just scratching my head with her nails. Sorry to say this experience was just really unpleasant, and I question where these other 5 star "reviews" came from. In response to the business owner's reply: I know the difference between being sneezed on and someone sneezing nearby. You don't have any rooms with doors, they are all just curtain dividers, which was the least of my complaints. read more
