If you're looking for a no frills "spa", but a great massage, you'll like this place.
For what you pay, this place is great. But if you're expecting a quiet and relaxing environment like you're at a traditional spa or 5-star hotel, this is not the place for you.
If you're okay with noise in the background such as doors opening and closing, people talking in the hallway, timers going off, etc then you won't mind this place.
There are separate rooms, but the walls in between don't go to the ceiling, so you can hear everything going on in the other rooms as well as at the front. I could hear when someone walked in the front door as well as their entire conversation with the front desk staff.
They play nice spa music, but it doesn't drown out all of the background noise.
All of that aside, I booked with Cindy since she was mentioned in a couple of Google reviews. The massage itself was great, and I'd recommend her if you try this place out.
She didn't ask about pressure, but I'd say she did medium / deep tissue. I'm sure if you want a lighter pressure, you could ask, but I didn't mind.
Also, they don't pressure you to tip a certain amount. I tipped 20% because Cindy was great, but I read at some neighboring spas they pressure you to tip a certain amount, which I found to be strange. However, here you can tip what you feel is right.
Overall, the staff was very nice, the place is clean & the massage is great. There's nothing luxurious about this place, but if all you care about is a great massage and great service, you'll like Village Spa. read more
