I got a great facial. It felt very thorough, the place was clean, the people I interacted with were friendly. Paid with a credit card, and left a cash tip. I will definitely be back. read more

This has to be one of the cheapest and best massages I've received for this price. I would highly recommend. I spotted this place because of the sign outside of the door and knew I had to come back. My massage was thorough and relaxing because of the serene environment that they have created inside. read more

Clean, friendly and professional. Have been here for four years. My number one choice in Montclair.

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing couples massage here. They used hot stones and deep tissue techniques! The lady at the front desk was super helpful. I forgot my wallet at the register and she chased us down the street to give it back. What a relief since l was visiting from out of town!!! It was crazy to get such a great experience for such a fair price. I highly recommend!! read more

Came here for a couples massage this morning and I think we found our new massage spot. The masseuses were understanding and used the right amount of pressure. The place was nice, clean and relaxing. It's definitely a good value for what you get. read more

Who needs frills when you get great quality massages with such attention to detail. Time and time again, we return for the foot reflexology massage and full body massage. The women who work there are also very kind and patient. Highly recommend! read more

It's one of the best deep tissue massage I've had in a very long time. If you love deep tissue massage and you are totally fine to an unpretentious vibe, this is the place for you. I've been dealing with sciatica pain for months and having to sit for 5.5 hour flight triggered my sciatica to full force. I went for a walk and I am so glad I stumbled on this place! (note: I'm not from the area). I googled sciatica and showed them the definition of it and an image of my pain area. My therapist knew exactly where the targeted areas, and can I just say - she took really good care of me. She was so strong! She knew where to add extra pressure and when to tone it down. Yuki also added a few hot stones to relax my muscles - it was such a nice unexpected touch! I will definitely come back and will ask for Yuki. Thank you so much to the owner, Lu Bai who made sure I was taking care of. read more

Today I needed a MIRACLE! After two massages at a nearby spot with all the bells, whistles and ambiance, I was still in pain. No worries! Just like the other reviews said, Shirley is amazing. I called and was able to get an appointment in the next hour. Hooray. From the moment her compressions started, I knew she knew what she was doing. BINGO! Usually, I tell them my lower back is the issue and I ask for glute work. It never fails, they don't really know what that means or just simply don't do it. So, today I just kept my mouth shut. Another lady mentioned that Shirley found her knots and worked them out. Translation: she's got skills. ;0) Her touch and pressure is strong but appropriate in all of the right places. She asks if the pressure is ok and she's conscious of your comfort the entire time. She made sure to cover an arm if it was exposed and that makes all the difference for me! Now, on to the final piece - the foot massage. It was delicious. I melted away in this final stretch of pure bliss after she left my entire body feeling renewed. Get there, book Shirley! read more

Mirage Spa - Waiting area - Reflexology Near Me - Montclair, New Jersey

Surprised I haven't reviewed this business beforehand. I've been coming here for 3 years now. I recently moved to the area and this is my go-to place when I need to get my knots and body back on track. The staff is friendly and professional. The place it small and cozy. The only downside is the traffic noise on the street - but I won't take any stars off for that because it kind of comes with the territory for any business on this street. I always leave feeling refreshed after an hour body massage. It's also affordable compared to many spas I've been to with less professional or trained staff. Also, it's in the perfect location for a self-care day alone or with a loved one. There are sooo many restaurants and boutiques in the area of explore before or after your massage. Even a liquor store next door if you hope to end your night with some wine lol. I would recommend this place to anyone I care for because of its cleanliness, friendly/professional staff, and easiness of booking. I also got a facial here for my birthday last year and fell asleep instantly since it was so relaxing. Support this small business :) read more

Ahh.. I visited this spa about (3) years ago.. & have not forgotten my experience. It was amazing. The receptionist was gracious. My masseuse was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable in her technique. I even remember her name.. Sherry. Im planning another visit, I hope she's still there. Yes, from what I remember, I would recommend. read more

I'll try to keep this short and simply state that Mirage exceeded my expectations. I pay a pretty penny for a membership at a chain competitor nearby and after my experience with Mirage I can honestly say their massage is a joke in comparison. I knew once the women climbed on the table with me for the massage, I was in the right place! The perfect mix of reflexology and a comforting massage. The massage room is small but tranquil, with dim lighting, soothing aromas and clean. The price is reasonable and I was able to call in to get an appointment within an hours. Great place! read more

I wanted to gate keep this place to myself but it's so unfair. I have been coming here for just about a year and Eva has been the best masseuse. I workout hard as a competing strong woman and she really knows how to address my tightness and work with my muscles when they are sore. I always feel so great when we're done. read more

I really like this place & my masseuse this time named Cindy but she forgot to oil & massage my left leg. She had oiled & massaged the right but went straight into the warm towel & stone to clean off the oil, without having done the left leg. This is the first time EVER in maybe near about a hundred of massages I've gotten that a masseuse forgot to do both sides. Disappointed in management who I eventually told at payment & just looked at me with googlely eyes & just continued on to take my payment. I just gave less tip than my usual. *** UPDATE 7/30/24 Manger/owner immediately called to acknowledge my comment at the front desk & my timely review, he was very sorry & spoke to the employee which I hope she's not in trouble because she was very good! I still had a great time but wanted to express what was missing from the usual protocol... I also learned to tell them upfront now while on the table and to acknowledge that we all make mistakes sometimes because we're human. He offered a kind gesture for my next visit & have changed my review from 3 stars to 5 read more

I've now been coming here for a couple of years, and it's the only local place I go for massages. I want to support this business. First, it's amazing to always be able to get an appointment day-of. The owner has great design sense, and it's really cute and cozy for such a small space. I've also had consistently good, deep tissue massages at a really affordable price. It's not a frilly, fancy spa. I think it's better for the actual improvement in wellness you get, without gouging your wallet. read more

Greeted promptly..super clean..friendly staff. My massage was amazing..super attentive at all times. She worked on me exactly how I needed and I will definitely be back. I hear the foot massage is amazing here as well. I will try to be back once a month read more

Wow,, this place is amazing- I read the previous reviews, and was impressed. I booked a 1 hour massage and it was fabulous! They used hot stones and very professional. Next time I am in town I will be back! read more

Every time I get stressed with work & life I come here to relax. They never disappoint because those ladies know the pressure points and how to relieve the pain. Personally I dislike those light-touched massage (too creepy and ineffective) so their medium pressure is just right for me. read more

Shirley is my new best friend! Walked by and decided to stop in to see if I could get a quick 30min massage. Luckily they accept walk ins and I was happily walked back. The area was nice and clean. My masseuse Shirley gave an awesome firm massage and focused on my knots. At the end of the massage she even used hot stones and a hot towel which was such a nice little added surprise. Can't beat the value! Had a terrific first experience and booked my next massage. Keep in mind they add credit card charges if you pay with a card. Can't wait for my next treatment! read more

Mirage Spa - Treatment room - Reflexology Near Me - Montclair, New Jersey

After reading reviews on Yelp I was a little skeptical, but I just had the best massage at Mirage Spa. I was running a few minutes late because I had a hard time finding parking but the woman at the desk was very understanding when she did a follow up phone call to make sure I was going to attend my appointment. The massage room was a good size and the massage table was very comfortable. When my massage therapist came in she listened to where I wanted to focus on and really worked out the knots in my neck back and shoulder. I left feeling like I was floating! You can count of me coming back! read more

Fantastic deep tissue massage. A really great place for marathon or triathlon post race recovery. Very affordable!

The prices here are incredible & the location very convenient. Doesn't have the big spa feel but quaint enough to give you a relaxing environment. You will hear the street noise, since this is a small business, however in my opinion it didn't detract from the quality of my massage. This is Montclair, so if you're driving give yourself time to find parking. Went here for a 90min massage package including a 60 min pre natal and 30 min foot massage all for $75. Was my second time here. The first time was to get a 30 min foot massage with Amy, who did a great job. This time I met with Ada who did an amazing job. Her hands are magical and the massage was excellent from start to finish. The staff and the woman at the front desk do a great job ensuring you are pleased with your service and have a good experience. And they have a points card, that after 10 hours, you get a 1hr free massage! Give this place a try! It's worth it. Cash tips preferable. And when you're done relaxing, you can enjoy some brunch and shopping in downtown Montclair:) read more

The place is cute, located in a bustling part of Montclair. I didn't quite enjoy my massage because my masseuse didn't have good skills or techniques. I felt like she was all over the place and kept having to instruct her. I don't know the lady's name and unsure if the other staff are any better. I am just visiting this area so I would not patronize again. read more

5/5 stars for cleanliness, hospitality, and quality. This place takes walk ins or appointments. A true gem, I got nothing but quality for pressure on my foot massage/ bodywork combo. The price is definitely worth it and i will totally be back and recommending this place. Not sketchy at all, one of the more/most professional places I have been too. They have grand opening discount.I got my combo massage $40 for one hour. This is crazy!!!!! read more

Lulu just gave me the business!! My goodness, I just stepped out of the spa feeling so relaxed and ready for my week. Such a relaxing experience. I made a last minute appointment for my mom and I on a Sunday afternoon, so glad they were able to accommodate. I got the 45 minute body massage with Lulu and my mother got the combination body and foot massage for an hour. My mother said that she really enjoyed her massage and would definitely return and I would agree. Lulu is a petite lady but she has got some strength on her! All the staff were professional and kind. The place feels extremely clean and the towels/materials smell like fresh laundry- very lovely. read more

Today was my first time visiting Mirage Spa and I had an amazing experience. They have opened a week ago and they are currently having a grand opening promotion - $40 for a 60 minute massage! I had that done today and I was in heaven. The staff was very professional and the place was very clean. They offer you water in the end and make you feel very comfortable. I can easily say I will be here in the near future. read more

The Mirage Spa was amazing. It has been my Relaxation Zone for the past five months Shirley is phenomenal. She took out all the knots out of my foot calves , and my legs. I cannot do without Shirley's massage. If Shirley's not there, I will not go. She is a top notch. The place is very clean, neat ,and welcoming. Good body massage, not amazing. Ambience is nice. I'd come again for foot massages because they are amazing at it.

Love this place! It's always very very clean and peaceful, even in the heart of Montclair. Their prices are very reasonable, especially for the heart of the Montclair. Foot massage or full body! The style of massage is exactly what I'm looking for - firm and digging out the knots. I absolutely hate to feel like I've just paid for someone to just rub lotion on me for an hour.... So if that's what you're looking be for, let them know to be very light. I've been coming here for years and it's always consistently great. read more

As soon as I walked in, Lou Lou greeted me right away, confirmed my appt time and took me directly to my room. Once on the massage bed, CiCi gave me a massage I didn't even know I NEEDED!!! I even fell asleep which I never do during massages. Hands down the BEST massage I've had comparable to the ones I've had in Bali. I am a forever customer now. read more

I loved the first massage I got here and have been going back every other week since! Very clean and calming.

$60 for an hour of body massage, it was done very well! Calming music, a nice vibe, would definitely recommend this place.

The masseuse was super nice the front door was cool. Super clean and the hosts were very nice as well. Worked on my hip issues a ton and was very helpful. Price was $60 for the hour and included hot stones. Good spot read more

This spa is amazing , very clean and calming. Fiona was great !! The price was also very reasonable.. can't wait until my next appointment.

Called on a Sunday at 12:00 and got an appointment at 12:30! My massage was amazing, I really struggle finding places that do deep tissue but the ladies at Mirage do wonderful! I feel so much better adter leaving. Amazing prices, and very friendly staff. When you walk into your room, you are immediately relaxed, the aromatherapy, the calming quiet music and fresh clean linens. Would recommend this place to anyone. read more

My husband made an appointment last night at 7pm for two 1-hour foot massages today at 3pm. We thought we were all set until we got there and realized they had double booked our appointment. The lady there said she called and left a message to confirm our appointment and since my husband didn't pick up the phone call or call back they decided to cancel our appointment without even trying to call again...or even send a text. We literally booked the appointment less than 24 hours ago. A reputable business would not do this. We have been there multiple times and have never had anyone call to confirm the appointment. Be careful when booking appointments here - they have no problem canceling on customers. read more

Very clean and cute place. Loved the aesthetics. Massage was great and they too their time. Recommend!

a "fairly" new establishment in town that i will NOT recommend. I go and have a massage once a month so I have been to a lot of places over Jersey and New York. I decided to check out over the weekend since its within walking distance to my place. They were accommodating and the massage started good. But when she started massaging my lower back it was very painful. I told her to lessen the pressure but she just kept on massaging with the same pressure. It was VERY painful to the point I was hissing in pain. I asked her again to lessen the pressure but she just told me that "it is okay, no pain no gain" and preceded to continue massaging. She only stopped when I stood up and asked to massage my feet instead. After, she had the gall to tell me to go back to her next time and do a 90-minute massage. This is not how you treat clients!!! First these are not licensed medical masseuse or doctors who would know if something is happening inside the body. The moment, the client has asked to stop or lessen the pressure, they should be concern as they dont know whether there is an injury or nerve/spinal damage. Now, i have more backache and shooting pains than when I went there, and will probably have to go to the doctor to see what is going on. I suggest never to get a back massage from them ever! They maybe a good foot massage place but they will injure your body and would not care about your health. read more
