The massage therapist doesn't give you much explanation like other places, but if you've been to a massage place before, you get the gist. If you are looking for more of an upscale "modern" looking location, then this isn't for you. This is a small and unique looking establish. The massage itself was great, no complaints at all there. The price is also amazing for $60/hr. much more reasonable then other locations The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the much needed upgrading of beds (too thin and a bit hard) and the noise. The rooms are actual separate room they are more of a large room that was divided up into small areas. So if there are people talking in the one next to you then you will hear it. I really didn't like that & the pipes were also really loud. Thankfully the noise didn't last long so it didn't ruin my experience. I would come back if I had a similar need for an urgent massage. I'm very disappointed by my first experience here. My boyfriend wanted to give this place a try, so I accompanied him for a 30 minute massage. We walked in and we were greeted very kindly by a gentleman behind the counter. A woman brought us to a room where I was allowed to stay inside during the massage. By the end of the 30 minutes, my boyfriend was feeling good and optimistic about returning here routinely. I wanted to pay for his massage, so I approached the counter and was ready to pay. We noticed a sign saying tips were being accepted in cash, but my boyfriend asked if they could add the tip to our total since we didn't have any. This was our first time there and it was a very straightforward service. I said to tip $5 (which is 15%). To my surprise, the woman who gave my boyfriend the massage actually said, "Only $5?!" Everyone was silent, including the gentleman behind the counter. I ignored her comment and proceeded to get out of there as soon as possible. I felt incredibly uncomfortable about this whole experience. Unfortunately, we had every intention of returning at least once a week and moving up to a 1 hour massage instead. No couples massages -- rooms are single only. I would definitely recommend tipping 20-30% because of the heavily discounted prices (compared to the usual $100-150/hour going rate at most places). Massage was decent, but I am a tough critic since I have been to many Asian massage places like these. Bf and I went for the last hour of the night so I'm sure the masseuses were a bit tired, and I also prefer a deep massage that may require a stronger masseuse, so I would've preferred a bit deeper body work and felt my legs were hardly worked on. The environment is not relaxing, as there is constant noise outside the room, the woman who did my massage stopped throughout the massage several times to greet each person that entered the salon. I had 2 horrible experiences here. Please read. First time, the Chinese lady I believe speaks English but pretends not to says, "NO CARD. CASH ONLY." So I point to the door and say "It says VISA." And she says, "no, cash only." I said "Okay, no thanks then." I walked out of the store and down the street and all of the sudden she follows me to my car screaming, "CARD OK..CARD OK!!". That was my first experience. My second experience,which was my fault because I should have never gone back..I got a terrible massage where the lady literally poured oil on my back and rubbed it. Then ran her hands through my hair and rubbed vigorously, creating knots. In my book, this is not a massage. When I went to pay, I asked her for change for my $10 because I wanted to give her 15% which would have been 8 dollars.. and she said, "you give me 20% for tip." She grabbed the 10 dollars on the table and then ran to help the next client. I will never go back there again and neither should you.
