At the reception desk, the woman behind the counter was quick to tell me that even though my husband had purchased this massage that I was required to pay the tax for it, and also another fee. Nowhere on the voucher does it mention such a thing. They were quick talkers and circled this small print that I believe applied to online orders or groupon goods, not services. So right off the bat, I had a sour feeling about the experience before I even get in the room. The masseuse was friendly, but was not skillful. It felt like she was winging it as she went along. She actually stepped on my back and legs at some point. It was strange and uncomfortable. If I had to count the minutes of the massage that I felt relaxed, it may have been about 10 minutes. The other 50 min were full of pain, confusion, and gimmicky massage moves. As I was leaving, they gave me an envelope for gratuity and made sure to get their tax and fee. On top of it all, she kept my change and never even attempted to give it to me as she acted "distracted". I won't be returning, and will advise the same for others.
